What about when you’re doing a Localizer only approach and the aircraft levels off too early and you need to get it headed down ? You spin it “up” and set a lower altitude to force a reversionary mode.
Hello, It is a very interesting video. Can you make a second part for mode revisions, please? I know that there are much more situations where you hear the tripple klick sound. For example if you arm approach mode, and then select heading because atc wants to give you vectors and you change from app mode to heading mode. Also when BTV is active and you miss the selected vacator (if I am not wrong). Also the when approach capabilities change, when disconnecting autopilot or autothrust system during ILS approach for CAT 1, 2, 3a, 3b. Do also the A330/A340/A350/A380 have the same mode revisions?
