Got round to watching these, pretty interesting. Are them things that stick up on top of the train like air brakes or they go to the cable above switching between rail and cable. I don't know much about trains as you can tell :)
@@girllikestrainsandaviation9413 Sounds cool, I also liked the tracks high up close to platform level you could walk to the other platform :) we have parts of England with them we cal trams, Lisbon also has a ground level track.

Air breaks are used to decelerate. There is a small power cut as the third rail shoe is raised and the Pantagraph is raised and vise versa
