Those bowls look jam packed with good stuff - that’s the type of breakfast bowl I’d make but smaller. And the dinner bowl’s tofu and broccoli components look like great flavor combos! ALSO! A red avocado skin is sunburn! That means that one was left on the vine for a little longer.

I've never felt better and it is very motivating that finally I have skills how to create a smaller carbon footprint with my food choices.
Getting blackberries off the bush is such a different experience than buying them at the store. They are amazing. You lucky duck! I'd never heard of "Vitamin N" before. That's a good one!
Love the video and the recipe ideas! At some point, I’d love to see your dish cleaning routine or how you clean as you go while you make your meals. I think one reason why a lot of people don’t cook is because of the cleanup and the time investment. I don’t know if that’s something you’d be interested in but I think people would dig it! And no vegan UA-camrs have videos like that, yet! Just a thought!

I miss the wild black berries I used to pick when we lived west. When I was a kid during the summer I would leave the house with a bowl and fill it up while walking around the neighborhood then come home and make cobbler with it. I haven’t seen any wild berries I could eat since moving.

Just starting eating vegan and have really been enjoying your channel. Did you see the UC Davis study about adding bananas to a berry smoothie? The researchers found that those who drank the banana smoothie had 84% lower levels of flavanols in their body compared to those who didn't add the banana. For those who want to consume smoothies with bananas, the suggestion is to not combine them with flavanol-rich fruits such as berries, grapes and cocoa. Just an interesting read I thought you might enjoy.
Yes I did see that! Not sure what to say. Probably still going to have my banana and berry smoothies but definitely an interesting finding. Notable was that vegans/vegetarians were excluded from the group and it was a very small sample size of ppl. From 8-11 depending on what part of the study. We do know that vegans have different intestinal microbes than omnivores so that would have been interesting to see if that made any difference. Interesting though. Also (not mentioned in the study) the PPO in bananas that was responsible for the decrease in flavanol uptake also has anti cancer/anti tumor & antioxidant properties of its own. So it’s not all bad. Also the study was sponsored by MARS, so that’s kinda weird. 🍫 😆 Welcome to the channel btw!

Road bikes for years. A fresh rain after no rain for weeks can expose a lot of oils from cars in more densely populated areas. Also, pitching the bike when the leaves start falling soon and or on sand if used during the winter months. I’m sure you took a class - you can never be too careful. Enjoy!

Serious question that I hope you'll consider addressing in a video. Vegan for over 40 years and after watching Poisoned on Netflix I have stopped eating store bought greens. Considering the sickest I've ever been was from organic romaine and the second time organic spinach sold in those plastic clamshells I didn't need much convincing. With the spinach I actually thought I might die. Unless I grow it I'm not going to buy it anymore. And with the short growing season here in Ontario that only gives me a few months at most. Always miss you when you take a (well deserved) break. And glad you got to have fun with your family. I'm dying to know how you cook tofu in a stainless steel pan without half of it sticking to the pan. Every time I try I lose a bunch of my meal to the tofu gods.
Great question! Pre heat the pan really well. That really helps. You can also rub a very small amount of oil on the bottom using paper towel. It's a negligible amount but still helps.
