SM-33 had said in episode 5 that Tak Rannod had been killed on approach of At Attin by his concubine. This plus the point that the Onyx Cinder had crashed and had been upside down even leads me ro believe that Supervisor has nothing to do with this. 🤔
@analyticalplum I'd say you're grasping at straws to keep your theory alive. 😅 From the context it can be assumed that the dagger is the one that Silvo plucked from the corpse in episode 3.
@analyticalplum I am thinking droid. Think about it. Everything is automated. This planet is still making money for a government that has not existed for decades, out of automatization. And now they have made so much, because no Emissary has come for decades to fetch it, that it would be worthless because mega inflation.
Denile isnt just a River in Africa. Jod is not gooooooood. Also, the Droids were not bothered by Jod having a Lightsaber becuase most of the Old Republic Emmisaries and People in charge were Jedi. Atleast in old cannon it was the case.
The emissaries being Jedi would explain how the Empire had no idea how to get to At- Attin, though I think the Empire got to the other mints, why they all fell, so maybe not. Maybe they never had access to the Mint ship for At- Attin because Captain Rennod stole it before them. Who knows.
I think Whim's and Fern's are related and their mothers might both had a relationship with Jod and that Jod is Tak Rennod. Jod must of brought most of the people he recruited in his crew to be saved and have a better life on At Attin.
We know from the past episodes that SM can be quite vague when he tells us new information. The captain had time to lock the ship controls which leads me to believe that he wasn't too injured or, he was using SM as a body suit and wouldn't of gotten too hurt
@analyticalplum sooooo, the rat had a concubine and was stabbed by the said concubine? If the rat was the captain then SM 33 was flat out lying not being vague. Also what would a rat want with treasure? I could be wrong but this theory just seems too weird to me. I just assumed that the rat was a stand in for the usual parrot that pirates frequently carry on their shoulders in media
I hope the last episode gives us a little background on Jod. Is he just force sensitive or has he had training? Will SM33 be repaired and back with the kids? Hope we get an extra long episode.
I'm beginning to think he's not a force user at all. Like others have commented on other reactions, he's always wearing gloves when he "uses the Force", and it only seems to be on objects with metal in its construction. If you watch the credits as they fall when he picks the first one up, it looks more like they're being pulled as opposed to falling from being displaced. His gloves might be rigged with powerful magnets that he has control over their direction and strength, and seeing all the stacks of credits caused him to reflexively pull some when he took the first one.
@analyticalplum While not actual gloves, he does have some hand wrappings and long sleeves during episodes 2 and 3 that could be covering some tech device. I'd love to believe he has a simple control of the Force, but watching how those credits are kind of "pulled" from the stack after he takes the first one has me concerned, the way they start to slide out so far before starting to drop is unnatural looking and he only seems to be using it against metal or items with metal is the other issue. Like why didn't he use it to flip up the fake roast on the table? As a force user, it shouldn't matter what an item is composed of, as long as it's a physical object.

Do you remember what episode? Definitely need to re-watch that 🤣 Maybe not. They could just be a droid all along
Just watched it back, SM mentioned that the captain was stabbed but nothing about him dying :)

I was just throwing things out there, it’s nothing too serious :)
The person who was credited as the Supervisor is the great Stephen Fry who i think it will make an appearance.
I think so too! Or he is also a droid 🤣

Plus we have now heard the voices of both Rennod and the supervisor and they are not the same.
It could’ve been distorted, you never know!
Denile isnt just a River in Africa. Jod is not gooooooood. Also, the Droids were not bothered by Jod having a Lightsaber becuase most of the Old Republic Emmisaries and People in charge were Jedi. Atleast in old cannon it was the case.
I am forever floating in it lol.
Yes, that's what I was trying to say but couldn't find the right words 🤣

Jod ordered the death of that crewman they raided in the first ep, out the airlock, he can kill, with no regrets.
That’s true
He killed Brutus and the captain of the new republic freighter in episode 1.
Yes

Intriguing
SM 33 told us the captain was stabbed by his concubine. How could the rat be the captain?

That’s fair enough, it wasn’t anything too serious
Still Long live Snowball! Lol
I think Jod will turn around and have some sort of repentance/redemption... but it's getting hard to believe it... 😬
Me too, I have my fingers crossed 🤞
Except if Tak Rennod was still there he’s hundreds of years old.
It might be possible, we don’t know what species he is as far as I’m aware

I really hope so too! It does seem like he knows a lot of the Jedi principles

I don’t think he was wearing gloves when they first met him but that is a great point!

That’s so true! You have me re-thinking everything now 🤣
