Great video! 🙂 Just a few things. You'll want to pour your fragrance ingredients first, then your alcohol. I wouldn't recommend shaking your finished product as it'll promote oxidation.

So I’ve had people mention that if you make a perfume fragrance that’s mainly oil-based with a little bit of alcohol, that if you tried to make the same fragrance that you would have a completely different smelling fragrance.. is this true or not?
I’ve also been told that people would have to get a very expensive machine that gives you a complete break down of each ingredient, then would have to find a chemical note that would match the fragrance oil? This is what I’ve been told… if someone wants to turn their oil-based perfume into an alcohol based one? Could you please give me some insight on this. I’m curious. Could you use the same ratios as you did in the mainly oil-based perfume or would it be different? Apologies for all the questions.

Hi @calvina2375, percentages can vary between each fragrance oil, and this will be based on a fragrances IFRA Certificate. What I would say is that some scents are naturally stronger smelling that others, and it might be worth sampling some stronger smelling fragrance. We have a wide selection at Supplies For Candles with 10ml samples sizes available throughout our range. Check them out here - suppliesforcandles.co.uk/product-category/fragrance-oils-supplies
