Welcome to this latest upload to the channel. On the Tri-ang Hornby Super 4 mainlines today I have the old favourite R.751 Class 37 pulling a few coaches. Also I'm running the superb Wrenn W2220 4MT 2-6-4 G.W.R. Tank with some Hornby Dublo Super Detail Coaches. I hope you enjoy seeing these items on the move. Also I'm going to be taking a break from producing content for a while and explain a bit about this in this video but I should be back with some new content after the summer. Thanks for looking at the channel and for taking the time to watch, comment and e-mail. Best regards to you all, Take Care and all the best for now

What you have just described is what we all have to do in life hobbies will always be there but precious moments with family wont be so what you are doing is exactly right we will always be here when you get back, in fact, I've just discovered your channel with your garden Mamod railway video liked it so much i joined and liked your channel so enjoy your moments with your family they only come once around hobbies like i said will always be here for when your ready to take it back up and your right summer months are hard to keep indoor hobbies going as you want to get out and about and visit family and places we are all the same so enjoy life as we all do so all the best from John from Rugby UK.

Layout looks superb and colourful, brings back many fond childhood memories. The minimalistic scenic approach works here as not to distract too much from the subject matter.A possible simple and effective scenic addition would be to use white Triang trackside fencing along with a few Britains toy Cedar, fir, oak trees dotted about as they were a regularly catalogue feature.

It’s good to recharge the batteries. Enjoy the summer with family and friends. As you said when the daylight gets shorter it’s good to run trains. Always enjoy your videos.

Its not fun if it becomes a chore and hobbies should be fun so dont think anyone should have a problem taking a break, sounds like a good idea and we will still be here when you get back!

Great running Mr Snooze, I do like the blood and custard livery the Triang version being very vibrant.

    Take your time.
Your wellbeing is the most important asset you have.
You're right though. The time it takes to film, edit, check and re-edit videos is indeed a significant investment.
    Stay safe.

Enjoy a short rest Mr. Snooze..... You have been doing a great job and we are really enjoying it.. I for one really like the "toy trains" on a table.. They are where most of us started in the hobby.. Straight from the Tri-ang catalogues at the beginning ..
Having been a model train lover since the 50's, I have had the opportunity to also have a fully scenic layout as well, but still have a great interest in replicating the "table top" rail models that were so popular back then?
Once the scenery creeps in, a layout becomes a different entity? Much more realistic perhaps, but a "labour of love", whereas a layout like this is a "collector's dream".. It is a question of which brings the most joy to the beholder??
I am a "greedy modeller" who loves both types of layout.. So I must thank Mr. Snooze, Oscar Paisley, and also Mouldy Raspberry for his beautiful "Yorkshire Dales" railway...
Three of the most entertaining UA-cam channels that I visit..
    Thank you all, Rob

From my previous dealings with layouts, mine have always been without detailed scenery. I think if I were building with modern materials and items, I might consider some more realism. Thanks for watching, all the best to you

I hope you are able to focus on non model railway matters; I recognise the same things myself. On the short occasions I'm on the model railway, unless it is raining, I feel I should be elsewhere! Looking forward to your return here in a while. Tom.

Sometimes its more of the enjoyment of running the locomotives and trains rather than the detail of the layout. My shelf layout is more about the running of trains rather than scenery........for the moment
