Many thanks. I need your experience and explanation to help explain science and scripture. Truth matters. Don't let the haters deter you.

Did he say species change? Sounds like he's bought the evolution lie.

Creationists have to deny science because it has proven their bible stories to be nothing more than myths, written at a time where most people were illiterate, didn't know there was such a thing as germs and didn't know where the sun went at night.
They have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century.
Too bad we can't actually send them back to biblical times.

If you don't believe in science, then this is not the channel for you. This channel integrates science with the Christian faith. There's nothing incompatible between evolution and a Creator. Evolution is a mechanism. Also, if you go to the "Noah's Ark" museum, you will see signs that explaining that Noah only took animals of a certain kind, for example, a single bear couple, from which all 8 bear species we have today come. This makes me want to scream. THAT'S EVOLUTION! So the very museum that young earth creationists say proves the stories of creation (there are 2 versions) & the Flood in Genesis, claims the evolution of species to explain how ALL countless species we have today fit onto the ark.

@@barbarac9805 Sigh.... This whole channel is devoted to creationists integrating science & faith in the Christian God. You need to distinguish between YOUNG EARTH CHREATIONISTS & CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALISTS and Christians who believe in science & see no conflict between evolution (the mechanism by which new species arise) and a Creator God. Genesis 1 is a song, not a science book. That's why it has a chorus or refrain that repeats at the end of each "day". That's also why there are 2 different accounts of Creation in Genesis. Also, the song of Genesis 1 fits nicely with what we know about the sequence of events in the history of the universe: Big Bang, light, solar system, Earth's atmosphere, plants, animals, & humans appear, in that order.
It's Fundamentalist thinking that leads a young earth creationist OR AN ATHEIST to take Genesis 1 literally, word for word. That's like saying songs like, "Vincent", or "Abraham, Martin, & John" are biographies! Also, you seem to think that myths are the same as fairy tales or fantasy or legends. Joseph Campbell talked about the power of myth to communicate deep truth about the human condition because they are so universal. So myths don't have to be literal to be true. Again, that's a Fundamentalist mindset to insist that every word of the Bible needs to be taken literally. Myths are like poetry. Is poetry true or false? I would say neither, because poetry is experiential. It's written to elicit an emotion or to convey the poet's thoughts. Even if you say it can be either true or false and it's veracity needs to be proven or disproven (you must be fun at parties), it's still not science. It was never intended to be read or recited as science, biography, or history.
