the varnish might be reacting to the type of paint you are using or the varnish might be bad, like over it's shelf time😊 So I would buy one more to see if the varnish were bad, if it's still a problem, try it out with different paint🥰
Seeing you still use that black paint marker after you said how it is constantly doing you wrong was painful, as was hearing that the green of your turtle needed six coats(!!!) for a single, solid color. (I'd probably also use them up while cussing their shittiness if I had them on hand -- think of how much more efficient we could be if manufacturers produced decent quality goods or if we tossed out subpar materials! How wasteful, though....)
The giraffe reminds me of the Dr. Seuss book "Put me in the zoo." It was the first book I learned to read. 🩷 Edit: omg. I didn't even see the first bit. My dog was distracting me. 🤦♀️😂
