Love these planters! What a great idea having them all candy land related. I was thinking… if you did short stem pink roses in the planter…. Voila… he has hair! Lol. I think my faves are the dinosaur and the candy lane board planter. So much fun!!!!
I *adore* your Candyland Board planter! I really like how nice and clean it looks with the white border around the game path. The cake pop tree and cupcake house were especially cute details. I'm sorry it didn't come out as you envisioned it, but I hope that it's either grown on you or that you look at it as a fun opportunity to try painting over it to create something you will love.
i believe the paint on the triceratops was a glaze coat that someone cured in the oven. a different type of paint so that's why it looked like that. you paint it and put the pottery in the kiln and you don't know how it will turn out maybe
A year late for this comment, but supposedly Sharpie makes a type of marker that works really well on ceramic. You bake it after use, a d it works like the original ceramic so that it doesn't need to be sealed. I like your elephant ❤ Jolly was super cute too
hi why do you use acrylic paint sometimes and acrylic makers at other times?? I get it for the outline I guess, but you paint the whole bottom human red part with a marker. i a beinner and trying to understand why not just use acrylic paint (i find it to be much cheaper?)
Its just sort of whatever I feel like doing at the time. Sometimes its easier to get into small areas, sometimes I just don't feel like mixing up paint. I'm guessing I just wanted to match the nose, but I honestly don't remember.
I love the candyland board planter!! 💖 They are all so cute and a great theme!! 🌈 Awesome for holding colorful art supplies!!🎨
Love them all.....and thanks for the chuckles too!
Love the colour choices ❤
The triceratops looks so unbothered 🤣I love this colorful theme and all the complicated details on the candyland board planter

You're probably right. I have that problem every time I do pottery painting.
Super cute! ❤
