I think this is a great video for anyone interested in clay art. I also think this is a great way to create a unique gift for your loved ones or friends.
What about covering Herman, that's his new name😂, in a thin layer of resin? I don't think resin stains with ash... but I wouldn't put it where any flames would be, obviously 😂 this little guy is absolutely adorable!! Great job on the paint job too!❤❤❤
I’ve noticed Clay artists, use tiny weighing scales to make sure that everything is even and the same size when you have to make replicas of the same thing. I’m looking into getting one myself. Also bake and bond might help when you’re adding the wires, before baking of course but I don’t know much about oven clay yet. To add, I just checked out your channel, and you are so amazingly talented at creating these insects and bugs too!😮. Lol at you using the wrong side of the incense (from reading the comments first) but you live, and you learn 😊 you also blow out the flame if it doesn’t go out after a bit.
@@entoclay no worries hun 😂 this one got saved in my crafts play list so I can watch it again, I really enjoyed your video I had to show my mom and she thought it was gorgeous which she never usually says about bugs lol. 😅 Also to add (after reading my comment back) if it the clay is to small for the weight to be picked up on the scale, you can get these little round cutters in a set with the different sizes. That way you can get the same amount for each one. Happy claying lol! X
New subbie here! I love this caterpillar, shes so bright and chubbie. I love the photos you took of her. I suggest the name Queenie for her, the antenna looking things remind me of a fancy crown, she's also well dressed, has her 'nails' done, and looks like she's wearing make-up and a beautiful colourful dress. You are very good at sculpture. I keep trying myself but I seem to be a bit heavy handed lol. I look forward to binge watching more of your videos today. Have a great week!
Thank you so much for the sub!! I think Queenie would be a perfect name, thank you!! Just keep at it with the sculpting and I’m sure you’ll be making cool things in no time 🫶🏽
This is ADORABLE!!! I cant 😍🤩
I’m thinking maybe you could use him as a paintbrush holder! Such a sweet design💕🐛
Thank you 😊 and yesss paintbrush holder is a good idea!
I think covering it in a thin coat of uv resin would help seal it in and prevent the ash from staining it. Or some type of varnish!
Oooo those are both good options!! Thank you!! I’ll definitely have to try them out

He feels like a Charles to me. Chubby Chuck, if you will, and he looks like he's very politely hold my tablet pen for me so I don't lose it anymore 😂
I actually LOVE that name idea!! Haha chubby chuck
This is so fun and colorful and made me happy!!
That looks amazing! Did you light the incense upside down on purpose to protect the caterpillar?
Nope! I’ve just never used incense before hahahah 🤣
Cutest little chub love it ❤x

I agree with the guy that said Stabby 😌🤷♀️
