I love it. I'm from Palm Bay FL and my uncle use to teach me a lot of what you do in your videos. I'm living in Kentucky now but man do I miss them swamps
Great looking Corned Beef and Cabbage and veggies. Liked the texture left to the final cook without being tuff. Like the new Dalstorm knife. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎.
Wish the nights would pretend to be spring also! Gets cold way too fast in the afternoons. I know it's only Feb. Wishful thinking on my part. Love your vids.
Wish I would've watched this b4 I just ruined mine...I put I in the crock pot on high waiting for it to come to a boil so I could turn I down ..it never did..3 hours later it's like white...it was only 2#'s...I don't know if I over cooked it or if it needs to cook more...🤦♀️
I always thought that you had to "Corn the Beef", with pepper corns in a type of pickling brine, for several days. I also thought that corning beef was a means of food preservation, for long voyages at sea. Anyway, that looks like some good food. And beautiful presentation.
There was generally a lot of moaning & groaning when this was served in the wardroom while afloat . To me it was one of the very best . I guess it brought the irish in me . ☘️ Semper Fi
Excellent point on the meat. Slicing done not stringy!!
I never get so hungry until I watch you. I have a Dutch oven and I'm starting with corned beef and cabbage, thanks to you.
The beer should have been a Guinness extra Stout.🍺
Hi. I like to cook in Dutch Oven🥘🔥👍. Thank you for explanation. Greetings from Germany🤝🍻👍
Mmmmm! Looks Great!! Do you have any pot roast idea's?
Check out our video on smoked chuck roast. Really good. Thanks for watching.
Looks great! This is always the dish we make on our first camping trip of the spring!

Great job
I am going to try that this weekend
Thank you Sir
Made this tonight… smaller cut, 10” DO. Cabbage, onion, and potato harvested minutes before adding to the DO. Turned out awesome!
Natural Light? You need a good stout or Irish red. Everything looks great though! Never miss a Backwoods video in my house!!

Best video in a long time!!!!
Awesome!
Your vid got me sooo hungry. What would you say is the full cook time is? I'm sure it depends on the size of the cut of meat. Again great job
About 1 hour.
Activate 'Smell-O-Vision'!
Looks awesome luck of the Irish looks better than mine.
Looks great brother but I nearly wept openly when I saw that beer. Dark Lager for this dish!! Have a great day 👍

This brisket was "corned" when I bought it. You are right about the process. We are doing it with venison also.
Why yes, I do want a bite of that!😁
Hah, I got an ad for Irish spring soap. 👍
Love me some corned beef and cabbage. Hey, did you get your taste back yet? I lost mine earlier this week and can’t taste nuthin
I only have partial taste back. I still have to rely on Mrs. Backwoods for testing.
I love the intro music. What is it. Ive heard the tune somewhere long ago. Btw, I love the vid.
The tune is titled "Jenny's Theme". I have used it in every video in the last 5-6 years. Thanks for watching.
How’s it going buddy? I’ve got to take some time off and go see you.
We are just about moved in here. Still have the place in CFL to get rid of.
Everytime I watch you my stomach starts growling
👍
Looks good but I'm gonna need you to quit smashing on my grandma's cooking! Haha good video man. Earned my sub.

Haven't you done this vid a couple times already?
I have done it on the Weber Kettle and the smoker, but this is the first time in the Dutch Oven.
