    I love Salisbury Steak especially the gravy, speaking of which, you need a big helping of potatoes to soak up some of that gravy. Beautiful camping area. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎.

    Wow, that looked easy to make & delicious! I'm going to have to break out my tripod and try that. That adjuster bar looked pretty cool, too. Have you ever roasted a whole chicken over the coals? It just spins on a chain, and cooks up.

    • @BackwoodsGourmetChannel
      @BackwoodsGourmetChannel  5 років тому

      Coming up soon. The cowboy or lump charcoal is for hot and fast cooking like steaks or burgers. It lights fast and burns for about 15 minutes. Everything else, we use brickets. Thanks for watching.

    Your recipe sounds good but my Grandmother used French Onion Dip powder into the hamburger. If I can't find the powder i use half of a can of Campbell's French Onion soup into the hamburger mix and put the rest into the mushroom gravy. My family devours it. I am going to give your recipe a try and compare the two recipes.

    • @BackwoodsGourmetChannel

      My doctor me to stay away from processed foods too, but I only cook Salisbury Steaks 3-4 times a year. I figure since i don't cook with process food i can do it when cook these up. I do it in tribute to my Grandmother.
