I'm 17 and unfortunately I dont have the money or resources to make this but u inspired me to learn to do so before I turn 20 I hope I run into u someday perhaps when your making a dish
I love how you show everyone how to cook, clean and season your pans , grill and dutch ovens. This is the old and best ways of camp cooking 😁.Thank you so much for showing and sharing.
Enjoy watching and learning new dutch oven cooking methods. Seems as though every one I try after watching something, turns out great. You keep sharing and I'll keep cooking.
What a delicious looking meal. I agree with you, too bad we could not enjoy the aroma rising from the dutch oven. Thank you for showing and reminding us of a lost art of camp cooking. We have gotten too used to the quick cooking and have forgotten the cooking of our grandmothers!
"it's not a recipe, it's just a guide"😊that's always how I thought of it...i know I've said a thing or two about mushrooms😁. Pretty scenery👍👍tfs...looks good
I love Salisbury Steak especially the gravy, speaking of which, you need a big helping of potatoes to soak up some of that gravy. Beautiful camping area. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎.
Had a busy Sunday, so I didn't see your video until now. Luckily my neighbor had her grill going (smell-o-vision). We watched it together, and I think you have a new subscriber
You're right about seminal swamp seasonings. My wife got me one regular and one fire for Christmas and we love them both. Then we ordered 10 more just to give out to some family members and friends. It really is good stuff! Which reminds me, I need to place another order cause we're almost out!
I took the boy and two of his friends camping the other day and tried your Salisbury steak recipe. I'll just say, they cleaned the oven and I ended up having a fried bologna and cheese sandwich for supper. Apparently it was awesome according to their comments. On the other hand, I did introduce them to your channel.
@@BackwoodsGourmetChannel Hey, Mr. Backwoods! Thanks to you I have a few folks asking to visit the camp site when we go to Lake Whitney. Does an ol' boys heart good when he can please a crowd with just cooking smells. Trust me, we shared the food and the website. This is about as far as I go with social media, due to mil. Thank you so much for teaching me the ways, brother! Also, really love the chef cam. I'm better at watching than reading on how to learn something.
OMG! Gonna rewatch and write down the instructions - especially how to make the rub. Will try on next camping trip! Love camping in the Green Swamp! Keep them coming!
Now that was a true campfire meal and looks delicious ! I will have to try the tripod along with the additional seasonings you utilized. Thanks and keep em coming. Enjoy your presentations!!
Been watching you for a while really enjoy the time you take to help us with this style of cooking! I’m new to Dutch ovens my family got me one for my birthday a week ago! And really enjoying useing it ! Plus we live in a camper full time and we cook 90%of our meal out side
Loved this video .you really enjoyed eating it at the end ☺️ look forward to many more .it's so funny I was looking for you as ive watched a few of your vlogs and felt the need for back country cooking today and wanted to watch your channel and you turn up tonight top of my list .I've clicked the bell for speedy updates .thanks for your great channel from England ! You pronounce Worcestershire sauce like a native !
Look forward to us taking our channel to the woods every once in a while as long as the weather holds out. We can make better videos in the studio, but I know ya'll want to see some "bushcraft" videos also. Glad you enjoyed it.
Wow, that looked easy to make & delicious! I'm going to have to break out my tripod and try that. That adjuster bar looked pretty cool, too. Have you ever roasted a whole chicken over the coals? It just spins on a chain, and cooks up.
When will your next sportsman grill video be? I just got one and love it. I'd like to know your opinion on natural charcoal vs. Bricketts for that grill in particular.
Coming up soon. The cowboy or lump charcoal is for hot and fast cooking like steaks or burgers. It lights fast and burns for about 15 minutes. Everything else, we use brickets. Thanks for watching.
Another great one! Made it last night with just a couple minor mods for what I had on hand. Came out delicious and will definitely be part of future camp menus! Keep 'em coming!
