One of the best liverpool strikers ever graced in premier league.
And with the best song too
one of the best 9 ever in PL
Rush, Fowler, Suarez - sorry but Torres is not top 3 for Liverpool in premier league era
The reason why I became a Liverpool fan. Brilliant player!
same
Same.... YNWA
same man
Same here!
Amo o Liverpool ❤❤❤ sou brasileiro 🇧🇷
EL Nino, I wish you were called as Liverpool legend as Gerrard Because you deserve it. ❤ I grew up watching your games during Liverpool ❤! You are majestic FT9
hes a legend in my books
He's a legend better than haaland dad 😂 and his son jota will continue his Journey to become the legends with liverpool ❤
Didn't know he had spell with LiVARpool. But Fair play.
Forever Chelsea Legend
El nino!
@@Emre_Za he was better at liverpool
One of the most complete strikers ever. Left foot, right foot, pace, power, headers, class. A perfect example for many niños in training!
Torres, Alonso and Gerrard. So lucky to have witnessed their brilliance. Modern day footballers can only learn from the masters!
Mascherano too.
Not a single tap in, he had he most beautiful finishes ever man.
Every player tapped in even Ibra who finished like no one from all positions 💦🚀 💯
His headers are amazing, still there is no one who scores like that.
I think you should watch the video again. There are tap ins there and if you still think that is a bad thing then you need to grow up
@@PK-ts8iz unclench my friend...stress is not good for you.
@@apoorv2498 really? I guess being a better header doesn't mean they score like he does
Prime Torres was a sight to behold, practically unplayable, the perfect striker
Fernando Torres is a reason i started watching football and reason i became a Liverpool fan.
same here :) as a kid, watching that team, it was something from another world.
As much as Suarez, Salah, Mane did the business in front of goal, there wasn't a truer shot of adrenaline to the veins than commentators shouting Fernando Torres every time he scored. A joy simpler than victories and trophies, a joy that has since only been matched by Bobby Firmino, a joy driven by the love for the game.
Very well said man, 100% agree
Only man to ever break my heart!
Me too
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a more elegant striker. He looked like he was playing on carpet. But he still also had the strength and willpower to bring Vidic and Ferdinand to their knees. Phenomenal.
My all time fav Liverpool striker growing up. The REAL Gunman himself! Darwin needs to channel his football every games he play 🔥
Lol, him haircut must same torres, but darwin is future no 9.
@@layardatar8294 he has the pace and instinct he just needs the balance and strength let alone his mentality
Nunez will never be as clinical in front of goal as prime Torres was and you're deluding yourself if you think he'll ever be that kind of striker. That doesn't mean Nunez will never be world class, but Torres is arguably one of the best finishers we ever had
Darwin should watch him
@@fivestarman5130Buffon said the fear of Torres is the beginning of wisdom.
Torres is one of the best finishers to have played the game
Liverpool Will Win premier league title in this season. ❤️
May All The Gods Shine on U..
YNWA❤❤❤❤❤❤
Certainly deserve it for all that Klopp has done and all they have overcame
The combination play between Torres and Captain Gerrard was very fantastic.
To me, him is Liverpool's best striker and ‘my forever idol!’
You need to watch some Liverpool matches - Dalglish, Rush, Aldridge, Fowler, Suarez.
my first idol, fernando, here is so many love🇨🇳
He made me start supporting Liverpool.❤
You started supporting Liverpool in 2009???
The most charismatic player ever in the Liverpool shirt. God did he look good in red. Will always be a legend to me despite the way he left. ❤️
Can you imagine if Liverpool had a centre-back like Virgil and a GK like Alisson back then to go along with Torres, Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, Kuyt & Mascherano?
The first eleven wasn’t even that bad. It was the squad that was limited.
As you know with us Liverpool would never happen one in one out always been that way
And coach with vibes like crop
We had Reina, who isn’t Alison but was very very good, especially with his feet. The team around 2008 was actually pretty darn good. But didn’t have strong depth after the first 11, and was up against a United side which had more. Center backs could have been better, but it’s not like they were bad
Mane, Torres/Suarez, Salah,Alonso, Firminho,Gerrard, Risse, Carra, VVD, TAA and Allison
He’s wasn’t just a player for a us, he was a game changer!
He's the reason why I started watching and liked Liverpool💯 Always will be a fan of his till this day
My wife called him my boyfriend because I would talk about how good he was all the time a brilliant striker, both feet and great in the air.
What a striker
What a player
What a beast
El Nino was a beast
In all my life watching football, I have never seen another player with a cooler head in the box. His composure and ability to finish is once in a lifetime instance, and still I am underselling El Nino... That's how good he was! ❤️
the man who brought me to the club, been watching liverpool since then.
he was my first liverpool legend!
That Gerrard - Torres partnership was phenomenal 💪🏼💪🏼
First couple years he was so happy
Once Rafa left liverpool he was not as prolific as before
@@Tony.L9793 Yep, I think Rafa leaving is what made Torres want to go, because replacing Rafa with Roy Hodgson has got to be a meme. Mind you this was Gillet and Hicks so say no more, cowboys who didn't appreciate was Rafa was trying to build at Liverpool.
@@acurisur lucky those 2 clowns are gone, liverpool will not get Klopp as manager
@@Tony.L9793 If we can convince Alonso to take the job I think he'll do well. Totally different to Jurgen but he loves Liverpool and understands the fans
@@acurisur with Michael Edwards back at liverpool i think the club can still do well even if Alonso not joining liverpool but i hope he will join
What a player. Gave us so many memories during our childhood watching him. The energy he brought to Liverpool was electric
I remember when Torres at liverpool more girl came and watched football and you can see in the street woman wearing Torres liverpool shirt. At that time wearing long sleeve became trend. One of idol who make liverpool known globally at Asian without winning any trophies not just with his face but world class striker at that time. Salute
The Machine himself the striker who made defenders scared indeed he is a legend
El Nino is the reason why I became a Liverpool fan and his interaction with Gerrard was phenomenal. his leaving broke my heart, Unplayable striker!
Grew up with him as number 9. Saw most of the goals live on Tv. What a privilege.
Had the charisma of Szoboszlai, the composure and lethality of Jota, the speed and agility of Nunez, the feint and dribble of Diaz.
"Nanana nanana nanana nana. He gets the ball he scores again, Fernando Torres, Liverpool's number 9".
Edits: spelling, spacing
The great Fernando🔥
If only he stayed..
He gave his best to us, I think he left at the most perfect time....if we had Suarez one season earlier, the partnership could be championship caliber
I've always been a fan of his, congratulations Fernando Torres
I was 11 years old when Torres signed for Liverpool, and he was my biggest hero at the time. I even remember wearing my hair like him at school and in football practice😂 YNWA El Niño❤
My Childhood Hero ♥️♥️
Saw him play for Legends yesterday, for the first time ever in person, and he rocked the place as we knew he would. He scored as well🤩
As a kid becoming a footy fan, El Niño was 1 of the first players I became a fan of, and I even got a Torres kit. I remember the day he left for Chelsea, I was sad & shocked when I saw it on newsround. I missed him SO much (as many did)!!
Fast forward to yesterday, it was a dream come true to see him play at Anfield, the man who I loved watching on TV, right there in front of my eyes no screen in-between. My inner child loved each & every minute he played & freaked out SOOOOO much when he scored at the same end I was sitting (Kenny Stand, near the Kop) 🤩🤩🤩 He will forever be a Liverpool legend for us fans, especially fans like me who fell in love with the game bcuz of him and similar players. Gracias Fernando Torres for yesterday & what you did for this club.
Best CF for the 3 years in prem, also in the Euros n WC . Strength and pace , accuracy had it all.
That goal against Blackburn still gives me goosebumps ❤😢....bro was so lethal
El ñino
What a player you were for LFC
Scintillating and ruthless
My all time favourite player. I watched him score a hattrick in 2009 when he came to South Africa for the confederation cup. It was the first ever football match I ever saw, and from there on I became Liverpool and Fernando Torres obsessed. I remember when he went to Chelsea and all my friends gathered at the school gate in the morning waiting for me to arrive so that they can start having a laugh at my misery. Still my favourite ever player though, I doubt that will ever change.
A Liverpool Legend. Will forever cherish the electrifying moments he gave us.
Absolutely dominant. This lad hold us in difficult times and made us love him so much. My all time favourite. ❤️
Torres, what a player, absolutely incredible! Him and Gerrard together were formidable, The Hit Squad. Miss them both. Was nice seeing them back together in the Legends match. YNWA El Nino. ❤
One of my favourite all time players for LFC! Class
He's a Liverpool legend
legend❤
The reason why I became a fan of Liverpool!!😢
The reason I started to love football and Liverpool. Forever El Niño!
My favourite player growing up getting to watch his masterclass every week was sommat special❤️🔥 I used to play football sat/sun I always used to try things I seen El Niño do in his games⚡️
Forever my favourite liverpool striker, simply one of the best during his prime with us. It's such a shame he couldn't win anything with us. Thank you for all the memories El Nino.
EL Nino❤ legend 🔴💯
My favorite player
Thank you for the memories nando
Happy birthday
his armband proved he was a red torres.. torres
you'll never walk alone it says torres.. torres
we bought the lad from sunny spain
he gets the ball and scores again
FERNANDO TORRES!!
LIVERPOOL'S NUMBER NINE 9!!!
My fave striker in the last 20/30 years.. even thought he was better than Suarez. Different players though. Torres was just explosive.
Never realised Kuyt assisted so many prem goals for him.
Not had a striker quite like him since. Great video.
He made me fall in love with Liverpool and his departure broke my heart the way no other player will. He was my first idol and I will always love him with all my heart for making me a Liverpool fan forever
Red Torress was iconic
Gerrard + Torres + Kuyt = Superb
I recall that he scored 33 goals in his first season, but C. Ronaldo scored more goals than him (42 goals) to get Golden Shoe. His debut is sensational since he scored a goal against Chelsea.
Although Darwin is not bad but also must learn this kind of clinical finish
His first Liverpool goal Gerrard with the assist❤
torres, alonso, gerrard, mascherano... this team made me love football, i was 9y when i first watched a game from liverpool, it made me fell in love in football and i still root for liverpool to this day
love his hair, playing style, finishing everything..FT9❤️
Even though it broke my heart...he's the reason I fell in love with Liverpool and football in general
Nino thank you for playing for us!! You were incredible))
We Liverpool have had a prolific goal scorer since I started supporting them from 2002...Owen,Torres,Suarez,Salah and hopefully Nunez when Salah leaves.
Growing up supporting chelsea and I admire Torres so much that i wanted him to join chelsea. My dream came true in 2011. Despite him not performing like how he used to at Liverpool, seeing him contribute in Chelsea first ucl trophy campaign especially against barcelona in the semi final and 2013 europe league final was such an amazing feeling. I still remember the day he scored his first Chelsea goal like it was yesterday. What a legend ❤
"Everything i need to finish the match Steven Gerrard have" that's why dore Trent I gess
Hello everyone, I am a Liverpool fan from Indonesia🇮🇩. I really like and declare to be a Liverpool fan since I first fell in love with the Liverpool retainer during the Fernando Torres era and his friends. Like Rise, Reina, Gerrad, Tores. Warm greetings to Liverpool fans there.
Witness the prime of F. Torres, not only Liverpool he was the reason I love football generally
I became Liverpool supporter when I got my very first Bluetooth-Video in 2003. It was YNWA from a match I don't remember but it stayed in my heart forever since then. Fernando Torres was after the 05-fairytale my go-to watch guy. He was phenomenal @Liverpool and I still remember crying reading he was off to another club. I was one of them keyboard-warriors who flamed Fernando for leaving this amazing family and I was extremely disappointed by his choices... but damn what a beast he was for the mighty Reds. I wish him/you all the best and all the luck in your future. A true legend for LFC. YNWA
one of the best attackers of the league in the last 20 years - a true world class player
It's a shame Torres and Gerrard never lifted a trophy together. One of the best strikers in his time. Not a Liverpool legend but a legend of the game indeed
The best prime ever witnessed for a striker. Just hoped that it would last longer. But, it was a real treat. Will never be forgotten.
The feels. Absolute legend! El Nino!
That season we came 2nd we were 2 players short of winning the league. Reina, Carragher. Aurelio, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Torres, Kuyt fantastic players.
He floated
legend No.9❤
Nunez has same speed like torres. I wish him best
He is a Legend he deserve more
It's a bloody shame we didn't win anything with him in the team, it's madness really but the club was in shambles under Hicks/Gillet.
Torres, you are always one of the legends in my heart! Thank you!
I miss not only him but the times when i watched every single Liverpool game because of Torres
The Legend
Long sleeves, always. The adidas three stripes. T90 Lasers. Alice Band. Ankle tape. El Niño was something else.
When I liked Liverpool, it started with my older brother, I was allowed the figures of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.❤
Remind us to the legends that day :')
Our captain fantastic, el Nino and others.
What a time to live~
Gerrard and torres duo maut
What a player he was. One of the best strikers in the world at the time.
Should never of left. Broke my heart
How can you blame him, one of the hottest strikers on the planet playing for terrible owners and Hodgson as manager, besides Livo got a record sale for him and we brought in Suarez.
@@gypana just wish to see torres Suarez duo 😢
Legend ❤️
EL Nino, The player that made me fall in love with this football club. Thankyou so much for that. Happy Birthday to you !!!
imagine torres with this current liverpool squad

the best for me, a superb strike from powerful handoff and speedy running against Rio
Shouldn't have left Liverpool. Let this be a reminder for every footballer who turns their back on a club and the fan base that adores them.
he is the reason I started watching football
One of the best Liverpool no.9 ❤
Torres is my idol of all time !
Glad to see this video! Thanks LFC !
He moved to Chelsea and achieved some precious titles, but all the best memories stayed at Anfield.
he is the most iconic person in #9 with the red long sleeve adidas jerysey ❤
