  • Finally: UK Revealed Its 6th Generation Fighter Jet
    So what is Tempest? The mockup shown in 2018 looks nothing like the F-35 or the Eurofighter. The machine will be made according to the "no-tail" aerodynamic scheme. It will get two sides deflected keels, as well as two engines. They want to equip the plane with an interceptor-less light, which contributes to the reduction of radar visibility.

      Unfortunately, America is quite ignorant of the rest of the world and actually believes the world view they see on CNN. It's really quite shocking as you don't see them attacking Russia for doing the same who has a smaller economy than Britain. It's obvious they want Britain to fail and are not an ally of Europe at all.

    When Tempest is complete it will be second no other 6th generation fighter, including the USA - if the USA still exists in 2027. British sentiment has zero desire for the old empire, but parts of the old "empire" still wish to consolidate, initially in the form of Canzuk, while in the past two years Rwanda, Mozambique, Gabon and Togo have elected to join the UK Common Wealth. There's nothing foggy about UK aerospace policy, sharing costs is always sensible. No country makes stealth aeroplanes for profit.

    I don't know why this Guy is putting out a negative. All these county's involved with Tempest don't have large economy's like the US. But they have very skilled people while sharing its cost. Also its developed tech whilst in its build can be transferred to present aircraft in some cases. This may even leave some behind when it takes to the air. Besides, The opposition probably already knows your technology.

      You know much of the F-35 is British, right? And I don’t mean a couple of parts, at least 20%, and every airframe starts its construction in the UK before being sent to the US to continue assembly. It’s essentially an American development of the never-built British Harrier III concept, and only isn’t called an “Anglo-American” aircraft due to the American government’s ego.

There's no mention of the significant Japanese collaboration with the UK on Tempest. And does this channel genuinely think European nations, whether they're in the EU or not, will base their billion Euro/£/$ military procurement based on Brexit, Or how effective a fighter jet is for the cost?

    Both Italy and the UK are in financial trouble. I don't expect the pair of them to be able to throw the necessary billions at the project to bring it to pass. There is going to be a large amount of wasted tax money sunk into this looming failure. The U.S. NGAD program is far along and the UK would be well advised to join the Americans and wind up with a winner.

    • @Nebulous361
      @Nebulous361 11 місяців тому

      It may be the case joining NGAD is simply not an option and that the US is treating it like the F22. Joining the French/German plane has a number of issues both politically and functionally after the experience of the Typhoon and France leaving that project, none of the other fighter programmes are possible for the UK to join in on. I too was extremely skeptical of this plane but with the Japanese being onboard now it's a different world today from when this video was made.

  • @MultiChuckleberry
    @MultiChuckleberry Рік тому

    I think that you are anti-British and talking nonsense. When you are talking cooperative building of complex aircraft, please examine the nightmare that was the Typhoon programme with the Germans pulling out and not buying what they intended (and needed). Also look at the strings the Germans have put on the transfer of Leopard2 tanks to Ukraine. They are an unreliable development partner AND supplier of arms.

      I know what's UK, bro.
      And the reason I said England is because the powerhouse of the UK is England.
      Plus, I have a feeling that there will be no UK pretty soon. There will be four countries. As you mentioned above.
      But it's questionable, of course. What's not doubtful is that the British pound, of course, will drop lower than the US dollar.
      It's only a matter of time. Please, look at the history of the British pound. It's slowly going down.
      The UK has nothing to offer to this world anymore. It no longer has the power to colonize countries and steal their wealth.
      How is the UK going to survive without its colonies? I don't think it will.
