You should rename this or do another video “How to hide your usb into center console” I have been looking for a video like this for weeks. Im using a similar setup with official apple magsafe charger and a radar detector both behind the screen.

Great video. I just did that in my MY and it works perfectly, the dashboard trim seats a bit tighter than yours behind the screen so I added something to lift it up slightly and reduce pressure on the cable

Great install. IMHO it looks terrible from behind the screen. I would never do it. I want the no wire look at all times. If I charge with wires they are in the compartments out of site. lol
This is great. A few things I learned having just done this a few minutes ago in my '23 Model YP.
- 3ft cable is just barely long enough.
- when fishing the cable through, start top down (loosen dash cap, feed cable in and through/down)
- if you try to send the cable up from the opening below the screen through the dash cap, you will have a rough time
- dash cap seems to be putting some pressure on the cable, so not sure how long it'll last, hopefully it won't do any damage to the cable

Nope no rattles what so ever as long as it’s fitted back correctly
Hi Jas, at 7:55, can you please let me know how you can pull the side trim out from the metal claps? I did it with all the plastic claps but I can't move it away from any metal claps

Mine were all metal clips, you just have to get the orange pry tool in between the trim and give it a good pull, you may even need to push down/ pinch the clips to get them to come out

The screen curves the bottom so it will be very unlikely that it will hold, and if it did I don’t think it will be stable. That was my first choice

The screen is slightly curved at the bottom, if you take your time get the right place (corner) you may get it to work, but I think over time it may come off as the whole pad might not stick
Installed two. One on top and one on right side. Love it.
