The chemistry between Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson is incredibly entertaining.
Yeah 100%
I'm honestly underwhelmed. Was expecting so much with how talented they are but it's falling flat to me. Guess I'm not super impressed with the writing so far 😕

Agreed, I don't think I've seen them in anything else. If that's the case, then they definitely need to do a movie together lol.
@@texdoc89 They were in “Midnight In Paris” together. So this is like a reunion for them both. I’ve never seen it though.
The dialogue between Loki and Mobius is very well written, and only enhanced by the incredible execution of both Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson.
They’re both killing it!
Loki had such great chemistry with the marvel cast but here he's just having fun
Yup
Combined with the artistic design and cinematography, perfect. I hope to see more of this writing and art style
wow
My favorite part was when Loki fell down in the exact same way as the “I’ve been falling for thirty minutes!” scene and even did the hair flip in the exact same way
yeah, i love it
Yes it pops up in loads of the episodes
Mobius better see a jet ski by the end of this season and say “wow”
so many of these comments lmao

@Miguel Messina haha that was funny but in my country and probably the commenter's we call all roombas dysons and all that hoovers but still it was a funny comment 😁
Lol
@Miguel Messina in British English they call all vacuums "hoovers"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Loki: "She's too strong, without my roomba I can't."
Odin: "Are you Loki, the god of roombas?"
This comment is gold.
😂😂😂

The perfect comment doesn't exist
The perfect comment:
You didn’t mention the talk Loki and Mobius had about Loki literally stabbing people at the back and later when they reach Roxxcart Mobius refused to let Loki walk behind him.
didn't notice that!! nice catch!
Funny, that, since he wanted to give Loki his daggers back.
So sutur destroying the whole planet is category level 8. And earth having a hurricane is category level 10?. Can someone explain that.
@@tempzira idk, the levels may be based on the casualty

I don’t know that quote of him saying “I wouldn’t treat me like this” might be a big hint
Also variant saying, “don’t call me that [loki], call me … Randy”
I really think was just a goofy little joke from Loki.
We have seen Loki use telekinesis before. In Thor the dark world after he hears his mother died.
Ooo you’re right! Also, I think the way he uses his daggers might be connected to telekinesis (that or he has a lot of daggers)
@@beccag2758 which is why he doesnt miss.
@@beccag2758 Yes it’s been said he uses telekinesis to throw his knives which is why they’re always on target.
Exactly! Thank you!
Yess! I was looking for this comment! In the Asgardian cell, he used telekinesis to throw the items in the cell. He also DOES have some limited form of mental manipulation/mind control (Erik stated he didn’t🤷🏽♂️). Loki used this mental manipulation to influence Selvig’s interest in the tesseract at the end of the first Thor movie, and again to keep Odin on Earth👌🏾
The "This isn't about you!" line reminded me of the ancient one giving Dr. Strange his last lesson.
Didn't Ravonna say something similar in the first episode, "It isn't your story."
Fascinating.
And from another another from Steven universe
Or Wolverine in X-Men where Magneto chastise him for foolishly believing that he (Magneto) wants to kidnap and use Wolverine's power for nefarious purposes when it was actually Rogue he was after.
The line "This isn't about you" echoes the same words the Ancient One told Dr. Steven Strange, saying "the most significant lesson is" "It's not about you."

Clever 😅
I really like how Loki uses magic to dry himself off it just makes so much sense that he would do that.
Hold it!! Loki starts duplication casting when he “dries his clothes!”
Also, the whole experience inside the store could be a Loki illusion. How do we know? On the way INTO the Roxxcart building, Mobius stands to the left of Loki; but, Mobius is on the opposite side of Loki once they’re in the building!
Could be a mistake in production, or a nod to the fact that something is different once inside.
@@theMDharris1 so much effort...
How is Gamora not a variant in the present timeline if shes from a different timeline why is no one talking about that
Cuz “it’s supposed to happen”
Holy shit! You're absolutely right.
I think because only moving where infinity stones are in the time line is what actually causes the branches that and also setting off time bombs where stones might have actually been throughout history. If i remember correctly both the ancient one and somewhere in the TVA they mention the stones are why the branches happen
Remember in this episode when it was explained that as long as you served out your sentence with death momentarily during for example an apocalyptic event, the TVA would not detect you. Thanos, his daughters, and all of his army were killed right after breaking reality, therefore giving the TVA no need to apprehend and erase them.
Because she's the main Gamora travelled through 2023 and the 2014 Gamora is now gone

That's my basic thought as well. Or all 3, but I'd bet moreso that middle one that is always a little different than the other 2...
Loki apparently has the force so I guess him and Ebony Maw are force users.
That’s what I thought too
If they're trying to say there's one single timeline, then there can only be one single Loki, even if he's nabbed as variants from different spots in time. If each Loki is different, then there can't be a single "sacred" timeline.
@@thestoryfactory8429 exactly but the thing is, Loki can shape shift so maybe he shape shifted into that look. It’s the only possible explanation because I wondering as well as to how their would be a different looking Loki if all of them diverge from the sacred timeline. One other thing that it could be which is unlikely is the variant Loki has one different parent than our Loki and maybe the variation wasn’t that big so the TVA left it alone or something 🤷♂️. Which again is very unlikely, because if I remember correctly we know Loki is a frost giant and the form of (Tom Hiddleston) he has now isn’t even his original form and he’s just choosing to look this way.
Lmao I think the word you’re looking for is telekinesis.
This isn’t Star Wars
another thing to notice about the hourglass is that it's done very similarly to the Dagaz nordic rune, maybe could be a reference to norse mythology seeing as loki is norse

Ikr! I was about to say that!
Yesss you’re correct.
@George Washington ?
@@RGC_animation Just report his comment.
For anyone who hasn’t realized yet, the TVA is in the quantum realm. Recall back to when Scott Lang got trapped inside the quantum realm during the blip and Black widow said that must have been a long 5 years, and Scott said “that’s just it, it wasn’t, for me it was 5 hours”. This correlates to when Mobius tells Loki that time works differently in the TVA, and when Loki asks how long Mobius has been at TVA and Mobius said it’s hard to say. Also, when Scott Lang says they can use the quantum realm to go back to a certain point in time and exit in a certain point in time, this is exactly how the TVA travels and corrects timeline issues. The TVA is in the quantum realm, end of story.
If you look closely at some frames in Antman & The Wasp, there’s a tiny TVA-like city in a bubble in the quantum realm. It’s been confirmed that it was placed there on purpose.
That makes sense cuz "time works different", and wanda brought up runes and if the timekeepers cast runes on the tva that would explain loki not having magic

I'm at awe at how they plant all these details & Easter eggs and the work that gets put in for it
The best way to conceptualize "the sacred timeline" is to think of it as a large piece of rope, and if you look at any large piece of rope closely you will notice it's comprised of many pieces of smaller strings intertwined to make the single large rope. The many strings represent multiple different universes, which is where the variant Lokis come from, and these variants create a fray in the larger rope which the more fraying leads to a destabilization of the entire rope. Hence why they need to be pruned and mended back to the original timeline(rope). The supposed goal of the timekeepers is to keep the strings neatly intertwined into a single piece of rope with a single ultimate direction versus many strands on separate "chaotic" paths.
This is best explanation as u can see in miss minutes video explanation u see multiple timelines (strings) rubbing against each other and then were intertwined into one big single timeline(rope) by time keepers that's why there are variants
this is a wonderful visualization!!

I find it confusing that a hurricane is a class 10 but ragnorak was class 7
Scale goes up in severity as the number goes down. DEFCON, for instance, goes from 4 'higher than normal readiness' to 1 'maximum readiness'
Because the hurricane is a natural disaster like the Pompeii volcano . Ragnorak was planned/caused on purpose. A natural disaster is something that cannot be changed or predicted. That’s why the class is higher.
Pretty sure it’s just based on amount of people killed therefore there’s more people in Alabama than 100 Asgard’s

Well, if he works for the TVA, maybe he gained that ability (if he didn't have it before).
He is thousands of years old and have gone to Earth many times over his lifetime. It's not too surprising he SPEAKS many different languages.
in Agents of Shield, Sif says that learning many different languages is a skill learned as a child. (dunno if aos is still canon, but I think we can assume that it's the same for loki and thor)

Ok, no one is talking about Loki talking about duplication, then he literally "dries himself off" using magic entering Roxxon. I think he duplicated himself and he's sitting back watching how this plays out, especially if he pocketed a Time Stone from the drawer in episode 1.
first off the stones don’t work at the tva. plus using it would be pointless since they can time travel too😭 second he didn’t duplicate himself he just dried himself off. it was a joke. every intricate detail doesn’t have to be meaningful this is the kinda stuff that happened with fans and wandavision
Yeah I wonder if the stones regain their power once they get back into the universe, or if because their timelines were pruned, their power was pruned too.
I don't think he duplicated himself because he took a beating like a real person, all the other times he's used duplication, his copies were not solid.
I like this idea it could be plausible despite no one else thinking so.
@@tymegabucks9210 If they take the right stones back to that universe they came from I'm sure they would be useful again. Maybe they were confiscated because that universe had their own Endgame event occur, causing the stones get confiscated from that universe.

So I'm rewatching this again right before I'm about to watch episode 3, and I noticed something. Small, but it stood out to me this time. When they're all meeting before going to Alabama, they said "if you see a loki, prune it" to which loki responds "the bad loki, preferably."
maybe that's going for a reach, but it sounds like sub-consciously he actually believes that he's working with the TVA, and that maybe he's "not all that bad after all"
Could Captain America/Steve Rogers be the other analyst? He did go to George Washington High School in the comics from 1932 to 1936. They could have changed the high school name in the MCU? He could have gotten arrested for staying with Peggy.

I want someone to say the words ‘it’s timey-wimey’ in response to a question Loki asks.
If you know, you know🤭🤭🤭
I go to Oshkosh every summer with my dad and brother for the big airshow there, so it was a nice surprise for this episode to open there
HE WAS NOT DRYING HIS CLOTHES! HE DUPLICATED AS HE ALLUDED TO EARLIER IN THE EPISODE!
I hope it, it would make alot of sense for him to do that, especially with the whole 'im 10 steps ahead of you'
Yo congratulations for getting Trending. But @18:22 Loki said those words out loud.
You guys wasted no time on this one. It’s been literally 16 hours since the episode came out holy crap
They got it a before we did
Yea but he left out alot of stuff especially the philosophy talk between loki and mobius
I was really hoping he would talk about mobius and lokis philosophy talk
YES! It was awesome.
Loki is just trying to test his boundaries while Mobius is just trying not to get fried for if Loki goes rogue.
That was amazing even if you don't like marvel at all
Depressing: there’s a whole section of the store that’s for “Pain Killers”
The future will be lit
Uhhh. You ever been to Walmart? 🤷🏻♂️😆
Do you use Aspirin? Depressing is you’re lack of critical thinking 🤔
Alcohol is a depressant... we have entire stores specifically dedicated to that sell that stuff... 🤯
Not surprising though, it's 2050
im kinda confused on the variants having different powers. If they have different powers and different appearances, do they all end up living through the same timeline as the sacred timeline?
Im confused about that too
Yeah the mcu's timelines don't really make sense. You can say the same thing with the file Mobius watched which only showed the loki we know
I assumed they all learned different skills before they were caught. Loki learned magic from his mother and others, he wasn't born with power.
I’m confused too. I’ve not seen anyone answer this.
Yeah. Presumably they were caught, and their timelines erased relatively quickly after deviating from the sacred timeline. How could they change that much from the "sacred" Loki that they must've started out as?
If there was only one outcome to defeat thanos, Loki was meant to get away right? Forcing cap and Tony to go further in time. Making it part of the sacred timeline?
it could just be down to a timing error on iron man's part getting knocked away from the door by the hulk. either way avengers fix it because they always intended to return the stones no matter where/when they got them from. loki created a variant timeline simply by picking up the tesseract and using it. instead maybe he was not intended to notice it, or not pick it up, or maybe the tesseract didnt slide as far or landed elsewhere.
Not necessarily. I think the sacred timeline is a whole lie anyway. But I think the point is that the time travelling was supposed to happen, but Loki getting away was not. If Hulk didn't throw a hissy fit over taking the stairs, then the Avengers would've gotten the tesseract and then proceeded as normal. So ultimately, the outcome of Thanos being defeated, Tony dying, etc. would have been exactly the same.
On top of what the others said, Doctor Strange potentially only looked forward with the timestone, he might not have seen the details of what they did in the past to get the stones, just everything up to them jumping back in time then returning a few seconds later with everything!
It would be cool to see one of the past champions of Sakaar or a young Thanos or seeing Ego trying to plant a potential seed that he'll later kill.
Last time I was this early Loki was still on his correct Timeline
Did anyone notice that RAGNAROK, THOR and HULK were mentioned in this episode by LOKI!
This comment is pointing out that this Loki shouldn't naturally have this knowledge. Why yall being sassy? It's valid.
Anyways, TVA Variant Loki technically has seen some scenes in the time theater and has been reading some files regarding his existence. So that's probably why he knows that. But it could also be a plot point. So good catch.
I think that everything that the avengers did was supposed to happen and any branch timelines they created would be pruned. The timeline without thanos was probably pruned just like the timeline where loki escapes. Gamora was not arrested by the tva because she's supposed to be there so maybe its the same with loki but he gets arrested to help the tva and after all of their problems are solved, loki is sent to the main timeline and reunites with thor.
@@WhatIsItAboutThem he read the ragnarok file, that's how he knows
"Holding out for a hero" song belongs to Ben Solo fighting the Knights of Ren 🤺
Can't unhear it lol
The library scene had Bach’s “Air on the G String” playing in the background, a nod to the library scene in Seven. The intro leans heavy on Seven’s intro.
Shouldn't Loki be blue / in Frost Giant form while in the TVA? I would crack up if there's a scene in a later episode where he just suddenly looks like a frost giant, and Mobius tells him they were just being nice before.
True
its only Magic that cannot be used on TVA
and as we can see Loki didn't need his magic to change his skin color since its not glowing like he usually do when shapeshifting
its like chameleon, a part of his body function....
Krakatoa can also be a reference to X-Men: Dawn of X. Krakatoa is much like Genosha, but a living island where mutants took refuge.
"Planetary Body Intact" may reference the A.O.S. Timeline where Graviton literally rips Earth in two leading to the population being enslaved by Kree.
You may be right 😳
It was funny how Loki straight up shushed the 'librarian' like who saw it coming 😂😂😂
The pen that Mobius uses to sign the papers is a special kind, it was designed to write in oily, watery or dusty conditions, it has a pressurised ink cartridge, I used to work with them quite alot, maybe there's a clue there
Also Loki and Mobius in Pompei, and Loki informing people of Pompei that they're about to die... Is a reference of Two Angels informing People of Sodom and Gomorrah that they'll be destroyed...
if the tva exist in real life: The TVA is now watching me watching the TVA
They watch you touch yourself.. they see everything... And you're a naughty boy.
@@theayatollahofrockandrolla They wanted him to touch himself. If he doesn't he will have to be reset.
So you telling me watching loli hentai is part of the sacred timeline?
