Seeing this makes me think that when you wanna go sub 6.50 or something , you must be willing to totaly destroy the vehicle. So for example, its not the question Tim morley or someone driving in their own car are able to go this fast, but its not that easy to block off the brain if you drive in the car of your boss (or father or something), there is always that 2 percent that keeps you from totally send it over curbs and slamming the suspension if its not your vehicle, or you have a financial bond with the vehicle. Seeing this guy's speed trough the fastest sections of the track clearly indicates that sub 50 laptimes are made over there and not in the brunchen / curvy area. he was willing to write a gt2rs off today and it pays in a super fast lap.
That's right, and the upkeep is also very expensive, after a year or so driving like this you sure can shell out a 5 figure sum to replace basically all suspension parts for safety

take in count that is speedometer speed and not the real speed by the way isn't that hard to reach that speed on foxhole in assetto i have done several times ✌️
@@alexnipi206 Speedos show about 5% more than what ur actually going so that's still 250+, and driving in AC or IRL is very different, the adrenalin in RL makes it feel a lot faster than what ur experiencing in a game

WOW, now that is an exceptionally special lap to watch. Not only for the sheer speed everywhere around the track, but also getting a full send viewing down the straight between gantry and bridge, straight into a flying 2nd lap. Very very impressive
Never skipped a single second. It almost felt like you were in the passenger seat riding alongside all through the corners and bumps. Very very skillful experienced driver. The speed on the corners were unbelievable. Wonder how the MR suspension does the magic of holding the car altogether.
I think that's what they call German engineering, handing over a already good sports car to a absolute beast racing team/ tuner. You just can't buy the balls to drive like that unfortunately

The amount of trust you have to have in the driver must be immense. I've driven lots of fast cars on a lot of fast tracks, but watching that is as much terrifying as it is exciting. Not that I'd turn down a chance to be in the passenger seat... Masterful driving. Incredible car. I have a 911, but it might as well be a VW Beetle compared to that.
Great videos the past 2 days! Really interesting to see how differently the 620R and the GT3 MR perform around the Ring. The 620R required much more steering input from Tim compared to the much smoother steering input from Alex in the GT3 MR.

The fact that people is crazy enough to do this for 24 hours at the nurburgring 24hrs is mind blowing. Can't imagine the intensity of racing at nordshcleife in the middle of the night without street light only you, your set of a steel balls, and headlights 🤯
Correct, that's way too fast to be going around The Ring without a full cage, IMO. He's well in excess of 160kmh for most of the lap and hitting 300kmh on the straight, so not have proper safety gear is a bad call. A rear cage is not sufficient for the amount of damage that a car will sustain at those speeds.
pretty sure ther is one guys haha, it's just not connected to the front of the car... the gt2 rs comes with one stock and if Manthey Racing didn't put a full cage it's because it is safe.

While the need for a cage at these speeds is a valid point, this *is* still a registered road car, and a fully caged car wouldn't be. I'd rather say someone get this man a GT2 RS Clubsport or a GT3 R racecar.

In some of the conners I really held my breath too keep me up right and as if I was there I could feel the pressure on my eye on those dips with the high G. Longitudinal I'm fine as I ride my bike but latitudely I could feel my kneck getting sore by end of the first lap just from watching it and going off of previous experiences. What an awesome guy and what an astonishing car.

Superb driving in a superb machine! I have driven the Nordschleife a few dozen times and the at the bottom of the foxhole always makes my stomach queasy...it is an unpleasant feeling. I know how worn out I feel after 1 lap; I can only imagine how exhaust both the driver and passenger were after two laps at those speeds. WOW!

I have gt2rs and its easy to drive its an amazing car.. BUT DRIVING IT LIKE THAT .. I just can't imagine it .. The amount of skill in this video is insane.
Yeah.... there is no substitute. So crisp in every line. I loved the intense passing at speed with zero F's given. The timing on brakes in every tiny strait between essess was flawless. I think I blinked twice... once per lap, lmao!
I think what’s more of a feat here is the fact that not only is the car capable of doing this pace on a track, but while having sat nav, Apple car play, etc etc Unreal.
That was just amazing to watch. Was it me, or did Alex not put in any corrections at all during those two laps. Everything seemed so smooth, even though he was using every inch of the track, plus plenty of the kerbs as well. I think I would possibly need clean underwear after that 😄

Holy mother of god. It doesn't go to 300 effortlessly like a chiron does but the pace it carries, the corner approaches and the speed is monumental and you think that he is going to brake late and the car just turns like it is on rails
