I love these videos. Both of you have such a good chemistry, your humor flows so well together. I could watch/listen to both of you talking about whatever for hours.
Is t it insane how much Merphy does collabs and vibes so well and be herself in each collab and this is one of my favorites along with Jay d legend, keep up the work both of you
I would pay for a high quality sound panel with Lyan, Manu, Sophie and Murfy just talking about absolutely anything their voices are just sooo calming and relaxing reminds me at the old days night radio DJs
Actually, the Mona Lisa was more on the unknown and undervalued side of DaVinci's pieces. It only gained viral fame after it was stolen in 1911. Nobody would've considered it a DaVinci's top 10 before that.
Did you know that Da Vinci actually drew all of the panels for One Piece after finishing his popular piece of the tardis exploding. Then later Oda bought it all hoping to find drugs inside.
Any person that puts their heart and soul into any project they spend their time on are creating art in its purest form. Keep on living to your heart's content and create a new future!
Long ago me took an art subject in school and the goal whas to be alle to look a a painting for 5 more seconds than before after learning all abaut art history.
I recommend visiting art museums in America. They are pretty much empty all the time lol. (Except in Washington DC). It is sad how little Americans care about art, but it makes the spaces more accessible lol.
21:45 Art will never end, because art is meant to set us free - and art that succeeds in this, can also be a very successful tool for engineering stagnation, creating division, and enabling oppressive doctrines. Thus, we will need new art, going in new counter-culture directions to free us from that. It's a vicious cycle of: Art liberates and enlightens -> Art becomes popular Imagery -> Imagery becomes tools for propaganda and oppression -> New Art is created to counter this evil -> Repeat
I'm an artist and I don't understand why some art (especially abstract expressionism) sells for so much. It feels like no matter how pretty, smart or creative my art is it wont ever sell for more than a banana taped to a wall.
Because you're not an idiot, that's why you don't understand it. That kind of art is made for dumb and idiotic people to pretend they see something and throw money away. There's nothing to see. Only idiocy.
My great aunt had a sketch by Picasso. It was a dude on a horse. It always made me stop in her hallway and ponder... Why this thing was in a frame on someone's wall.
I work somewhere, where we have the van ghoh alive and DaVinci alive exhibition and it isn't that worth it. They try to make it more modern and enjoyable and just doesn't work.
8:08 It’s Offaly bold for two people who run Literature based UA-cam channels to be complaining about pretentious Art people, “And What do you think that represents.” Can sum up what most people in media analysis in general say
I'm not sure why but the question "Do you think we'll ever get to the end of art? Would we ever 100% it?" is waaaay funnier to me than it needs to be 💀💀
0:58-1:30 For those of you looking, this is Merphy’s take on Gear 5 vs Super Saiyan She basically said “Gear 5 Solos and is Kaioken x10 times more important than Journey to the MIDEST!” and you can’t say I’m wrong cause this is Agenda and rats will scurry around and spin it any way they want, so I’m just doing what’s natural. She actually also said she thinks Super Saiyan was never Iconic, and that Luffy’s stretchy (Amazon Lilly Spoiler Redacted) is more iconic than Super Sad-Man(or monkey). This message is endorsed by Saint R.A.T D. A-Jay-nda Saturn and his merry band of R.A.Ts.
art is well an art the reason why mona lisa is popular is most likely not just cause it was realistic there like there were more realistic drawings at the time like there where some very realistic nature paintings if how real it looks was the only factor then a photo would be the hight of art which it isnt there are other more important factors such as personality, what message it conveys or emotions it expressess (there are more but i wont mention more) now it can go to far like alot modern abstract art where it is so warped and hard to understand what the message is or what its trying to actually show that it may aswell be nothing there is a fine line between subtle and nonsense if you cant clearly see the message then it may aswell not be there but there are some people that read way to into it and start making messages that arnt there like how people saw a face on mars but it was just a mountain with some fancy shadows that made it look as a face but people used it as proof of martians
The issue with art is... its all subjective. They also want you to experince it. Which.. is odd becuase it doesn't do anything but sit on a wall. I had to learn art history and etc through college for two of my degrees. However, the potato thing and them ruining art makes zero sense. I guess they just hope to do it without jail time?
I get that the intercontinental difference is a challenge, but I think you and wife-in-a-room and Merphy and Korey need to get together for a coffee and fun catch up as a group.
I agree on the fact that judgement of art is kind of wrong, most of the time. Some historic art pieces are beautiful and some others are utter trash. We also have to understand the evolution of the techniques and materials used previously and that's why today we have such incredible realistic artists, comic artist, manga artists and more. I am an autodidact artist, I am not in the level to be a great artist, but I give my best and I improve every single day, but I have found people that are so called artist that are extremely famous painting trash, I mean, my paintings may take from many hours to days or weeks to complete and there's people that come and they even take video of their process and their "art" takes a few minutes to make, and is trash, and I have seen people fighting for their things paying thousands, tens of thousands..... It's like, how, why?
I like the story of how the Mona Lisa got popular. It was stolen and the museum didn't notice until someone pointed it out for them then fakes started popping up. It got famous thanks to all that publicity.
I went to the Louvre, spent the day there. I walked past the Mona Lisa room, saw her from the doorway, saw the packed room, and noped the fuck outta there. Went and looked at some crown jewels instead.
The Mona Lisa is primarily popular because it was lost to time, found, and then stolen in the last century, 1911 specifically. Look up Vincenzo Peruggia.
This duo should be permanent
I agree
We need her on blue banana sometime
I am sure they have made it
I would absolutely listen to a podcast of these two
That's called a marriage. You're cringe.
I love these videos. Both of you have such a good chemistry, your humor flows so well together. I could watch/listen to both of you talking about whatever for hours.
Is t it insane how much Merphy does collabs and vibes so well and be herself in each collab and this is one of my favorites along with Jay d legend, keep up the work both of you
These videos always feel like Best friends who found each other late in life. I love it.
Insane chemistry AND strictly platonic. Looking forward to the future joint channel :)
Love these two together, they just bounce off each other so well. More please!
Merphy and Liam speaking French is just so funny 😂
The amount of effort they put into it is pretty wholesome I have to say
"He's being charming!"
"... Ok."
God I love watching the two of you talk.
Wasn't expecting Merphy reacting to Mr. Squiggle of all Australian TV shows from decades ago on Art.
I would pay for a high quality sound panel with Lyan, Manu, Sophie and Murfy just talking about absolutely anything their voices are just sooo calming and relaxing reminds me at the old days night radio DJs
*Merphy
That's a really underhanded way to say that Merphy needs a better set up 😅
Love the interactions between you two. I don't think I've ever heard Liam laugh that genuinely before. Very wholesome.
Thats by far my fav and most iconic youtube duo, they light up my day in a way no content creator can
Actually, the Mona Lisa was more on the unknown and undervalued side of DaVinci's pieces. It only gained viral fame after it was stolen in 1911. Nobody would've considered it a DaVinci's top 10 before that.
Yay more of the two dudes in separate rooms podcast!
How very thought-provoking
The Merphy/Liam friendship is probably my favorite thing on UA-cam that came from One Piece.
Anyone else wonder how often Liam hears "i dont know Liam, just say the anecdote you want to say🙄"?💀💀
My man’s French accent is Trebol. Thought we wouldn’t notice, but we did.
Did you know that Da Vinci actually drew all of the panels for One Piece after finishing his popular piece of the tardis exploding. Then later Oda bought it all hoping to find drugs inside.
5:07 The one time an opinion is actually wrong
So true 😂
I love when you guys do videos together. Especially with how much I love your respective work.
You two together are to much to handle with this little amount of sleep I got and yet I love it
Any person that puts their heart and soul into any project they spend their time on are creating art in its purest form.
Keep on living to your heart's content and create a new future!
6:45 I half expected you to finish that sentence with "Neh Neh Dophie, Neh Neh". Lol.
I could listen to these two all day
Omfg I love this duo
I love seeing Merphy and you talk about stuff
10:10 You may have out-smarted me but I out-smarted your out-smarting.
This dude should get back in the room‼️‼️‼️
I really enjoy these videos, I hope you're gonna make a few more of these. Maybe on theater or architecture, those topics might be fun!
I swear to fucking god. You two are the best comedy-improv duo on the internet.
Thanks for uploading after so long!!
I love you this doesn't feel planned. Its like they where just video chatting and suddenly "lets turn this into a video. We are children." Lol c:
Always a pleasure to watch these two. Liam is a perfect host, merphy a wonderful guest star
More Merphy and more Gracia on the channel please dude 😂
You guys look like you have so much fun The merph collabs are the best keep em up
Very surprised that the visual art made by ringo starr didn't come up in this discussion
I always love the vibes Merphy and Liam give. 😊
This is so good 😂😂😂😂 I love you two doing what you doing
Long ago me took an art subject in school and the goal whas to be alle to look a a painting for 5 more seconds than before after learning all abaut art history.
I love the chemistry here, you two together are hilarious
I recommend visiting art museums in America.
They are pretty much empty all the time lol. (Except in Washington DC).

6:46 “Ohh no, Duffy! Ne, ne!”
Top 10 most iconic duos

I love this podcasty video thing. Would be interested in watching more in different topics with maybe different people.

This was a fantastic video!
Always a treat seeing these two haha
Liam you need to do more French in your videos! Your pronunciation is pretty good, and I'm sure the many French OP fans would love it
She became so comfortable now😂
The uncomplying wench and dude are such a great collab every time
5:49 thats an awesome photo!
I love the Van Gogh painting in the background.

I feel like abstract expressionists are just the original memers
It might be outrageous, but it's simple to explain: value is subjective
@@gabrielgoes0 its a banana taped to a fucking wall, zero skill or production cost. A pre schooler can do better for an arts and craft project
*tax evasion*
I really need a dude in a room episode that explain how cricket, a game played for 5 days is a superior sport that basketball and football
18:02 Been trynna decipher what's behind Liam, still got no clue
My great aunt had a sketch by Picasso. It was a dude on a horse. It always made me stop in her hallway and ponder... Why this thing was in a frame on someone's wall.
The snake charming is my new nightmare fuel
I work somewhere, where we have the van ghoh alive and DaVinci alive exhibition and it isn't that worth it. They try to make it more modern and enjoyable and just doesn't work.

13:48 tank editor fore the visual master piece 😂😂😂
merphy goes on a lot of channels, but she never laughs so much as when she and liam do a vid xD
Those Australian TV shows be wilding😂
I'm not sure why but the question "Do you think we'll ever get to the end of art? Would we ever 100% it?" is waaaay funnier to me than it needs to be 💀💀
The angry dog has its young out cause it’s doing a Caribou impression… is what Liam SHOULD’VE said to Merphy but he missed the chance to trigger her
16:06 I am dying 😂😂
You ever make a video on how to get into this market?
0:58-1:30 For those of you looking, this is Merphy’s take on Gear 5 vs Super Saiyan

The mint 1st edition charizard gotta be it😂
That Mr Squiggle picture look like a picture of Angela Merkel. The Mouth part just fits perfect.😂
art is well an art

I love the Murphy art
There will never be a bad Liam and Merphy collab

I’m french and i loved this

Honestly, at this point, after all the reverse-hype, if I go to see the Mona Lisa someday, and I am NOT disappointed, I am gonna be disappointed.
I like the story of how the Mona Lisa got popular. It was stolen and the museum didn't notice until someone pointed it out for them then fakes started popping up. It got famous thanks to all that publicity.
The Mona Lisa only became popular when it was stolen. It was just another painting until someone yoinked it.
Hieronymus Bosch will always be my favorite artist
Asks her about art with a Van Gogh in the background lol
Nice glad you made another one of these videos even if they not making the views you probably want it for.
The Mona Lisa got stolen which is why it got popular.
I went to the Louvre, spent the day there. I walked past the Mona Lisa room, saw her from the doorway, saw the packed room, and noped the fuck outta there. Went and looked at some crown jewels instead.
For 10 minutes Ross ball got paid very well. If we changed his price to todays currency in America he got 762.77 dollars
I don't know art but I know what I like.
The Merphy the Mermaid graphic was very likeable.
🧐
Hey liam wired made a video with the voice actors of the live action one piece show to discuss about the most googled one piece questions
'The Pandorica Opens' is the best painting never created by Divinci. DW credit Van Gogh, but it feels like a Mr Squiggle original to me.
So when’s Murphy coming on the podcast as a guest?
The Mona Lisa is primarily popular because it was lost to time, found, and then stolen in the last century, 1911 specifically. Look up Vincenzo Peruggia.
Art prices = money laundering
Yes 🙌
