This is sweet mate. Recently got a 2011 G6E myself and will be looking to run a turbo conversion in a couple years time when I'm off my Ps and out of university, but it's sick to know that it's not only doable but not even too bad to do. Still running well? Cheers.
I'm very interested to see how this goes. I did my FG2 in April last year and ran into a lot of problems when it came to tune day. It has been in the shop ever since with ongoing ABS, TCS, and DSC issues. Apparently it's due to a bit of a love triangle situation between the ECU, ABS module, and the Instrument Cluster. Good luck with the build, I'm looking forward to seeing how it all goes 👍
@@hq454 man, I'm jealous. Mine is awaiting parts from Russia. I could be waiting a while before they're Putin. Or that's just the mechanic's excuse and he's Stalin. Either way, Crimea river, am I right?
Yeah, it was slower, the NA intake has butterfly that opens and closes while driving to improve performance. Also the turbo was an exhaust restriction back then. I created a boost leak, as I didn’t want it to blow on the way to work and the tuners :)
Turbo conversion only? you wouldn’t get change out of 4k inc tune. You can do it cheaper than I did if you used factory injectors, fuel pump, plastic intake.
People like you who document this stuff for us all gives me faith in humanity. Cheers for sharing your conversion mate hope it's running well
Thanks mate, it’s running well great daily !! will do an updated video of it driving, thanks for the kind words !
Thanks for the video mate... I'm looking to put a turbo on my NA BF Fairmont very soon too.

Hey ryan, with your drive to work with the turbo intake manifold did you notice any difference in performance?

How much it cost ? Mate
