- The Ranger S is a newer entry to Heybike's large lineup, a heavy-duty fat tire folder ready to tackle almost anything. Capable of carrying up to 400 pounds thanks to sturdy cast-alloy wheels, the Ranger S includes a wide rear rack and has standard mounts for a front basket. Full fenders and excellent integrated lighting allow riding at night or in bad weather. And of course, it folds for easier storage! There's a lot of value packed in here for a surprisingly affordable price tag.

Your reviews are REALLY thorough and informative! Thank you!
Wow, this bike dropped $700 in seven months that’s crazy.
Did you mention the app for adjusting settings? And the bike shows voltage reading plus it shows wattage output or use. Usually bikes have auto shut off feature. Can set the time you wish it to shut off. The light won't stay on indefinitely if it has that.. Maybe not using auto on is best. I used my bike to charge my phone and the headlight made a good living room lamp during a 12 hour power outage one day. It used about 4% of my 1008 wh in 8 hours.. Light and phone charging.😂
Did you use the Ranger S to charge your phone? If so, where is a USB port for that? That’s a feature I’ve been missing on my Ranger S. Thanks!
@@Jen-CelticWarrior mine was a Kepler I used for charging the phone
The throttle link to the pedal assist level can be turned on and off in the app so you can have access to full throttle speed at all times.
That's awesome, thanks for sharing!
I see some Ranger S have the wiring on left side of fork and some on right. Wonder which way is best?
From what I have seen, most Folding bikes that can go over 30 mph weigh in the 80 plus lb range. That bike would, as you suggest, do well with some wire spoke wheels. Perhaps pick up 2 mph and be closer to that 65-70 lb area ditching the alloy rims. The bike looks fine as is. 👍
Someone thinks aluminum weighs more than steel. when I picked up the front wheel, I thought there was helium in it. Then I said no wonder bike is so light.
deadly i’m trying to get 1 atm they keep saying it’s not built yet good video…., plus i got to wait till the snow melts lol because it’s not going to be available for sale in the spring or summer for sure out of stock. at Canadian tire anyways only place i can just buy it n pick it up
Under worst case scenario, you can best expect a range of 17.72 miles range per charge on that electric bike. You can charge up your Ranger S battery to full in about 3 hours 36 minutes which isn’t bad. The price though at $1,499 is still very expensive for that eBike.
How does it compare to the lectric xp 3.0 long range?
Lectric XP 3.0 long range is definitely better. You pay $300 less than a Ranger S and you get a similar range at 17.23 miles per charge under worst case scenario.
Hello, looks like there might be an error in your thumbnail. It shows the bike name as "Tyson" when this is the Ranger S
Maybe an indication of what's to come in their future videos 😁
I appreciate that catch there! I fixed it immediately, but forgot to thank you for looking out :) I appreciate it!
