I really like my Lectric 3.0 XP with extended battery range. I got mine on the Black Friday sale which included the soft/padded seat with the shock absorber seat riser and a decent headlight. Gotta get about $500.00 in "accessories" starting with great locks (2) and alarm system. Next some kind of "carry" bag that I can easily stuff everything "removable" into and carry with me when I go into a store. Two straps like a backpack would work for all day trips and a "sling bag" or haversack for short trios to the store or just around town. ENJOY!
I installed a 6”X14” piece of sheet metal on the rear rack of my XP 3.0. This allows me to drop on a magnetic tank bag designed for motorcycles. Easy on, easy off with no tools.
I actually have both. I bought two Lectric XP 3.0 long range for my wife and daughter and the Heybike Tyson for myself in green. For the price I expected better quality control in the Hey ike but I really enjoy the ride and power. I only wish it had a twist throttle and it doesn't exactly "assist" as much as it takes control til you get to a designated speed then maintains that speed. But between the two I still love the Heybike.
Lectric can go 28 mph, not just 20
great to know
The Heybike Tyson battery can charge outside of the bike as well.
Thanks for the info!
If Hey Bike would put a slightly larger crank and a good torque sensor (like Aventon uses) this would be the perfect bike.
We hope they will upgrade soon.

Good to hear. Enjoy your ride.

Glad to know you have both of them. Thanks for sharing.
