Great video sir!! The mirror gives peace of mind about the part of the gasket that looks like a half moon. I would clean the surface where the gasket seats on and also get a good gasket's brand.

I'm having issues with the small half moon which goes at the back by getting caught in the valve tronic pipe or tube, anyone got any tips or suggestions?
Silicon isnt necessarily, never had issues as long as gasket is seated

those plastic tubes to the sparkplug? how to place it firmly? mine is now leaking oil to the sparplugs. 2 of them.
The spark plugs have coils pushed on top of them. There is no oil in them if oil is getting into spark plug holes then it is probably coming from the cover gasket. MRT

What leak are you saying here on the black tube? those tubes of mine has oil. The one near the VVT motor is clean and no oil. (This happens after open and put back the valve cover after changing vvt motor.)

Went genuine - not very much more than Repco - ie $250 QLD🦘🦘
I'm changing the vanos seals at the same time as oil travels back around the cyl head as it leaks

If debris from dried silicone falls into the engine, will it damage it?
The engine has lots of very small oil galleries where oil runs. Old silicone can block or restrict these and yes damage your engine.
No the oil filter will catch it
My N46 doesnt have those spark plug tubes?? 😂😂 no oil in the coils tho
I've lost my shit trying to get the rocker on. Keep getting it stuck on the rear right little hook looking thing
Same haha, i got so mad i managed to get the hook/spring to fall out of its place, made the job almost 2 hours longer to try get the spring back into place
