@@rebeccaortega6049 Thank you for the Sisters group lead - when the van is done I’ll register and take part! Thank you too (and your husband!) for repairing my mothers ring! 💕
I'm glad that I found your video! Pretty ambitious install, and I appreciate your sense of adventure to try things out & see how it goes. I think it's one of the best ways to learn & expand your knowledge. I have a van build going on an older Promaster. It was a family hauler when our kids were young & had various extended road trip configurations for K9 SAR thru the years. Now that I'm retired, it is becoming a camper/comfortable road van to support my volunteer adventures. Subscribed!
Thank you so much for your kind words and your for your subscription! I love hearing about others that are building out a van! It's a significant amount of work and commitment - especially if you have no experience! I am finding a lot of joy in my build though and am not rushing it - though I do look forward to the day that I can actually use it! Ha! The Minnesota winters (and my many other interests) slow me down; distract me. I also do not have a garage large enough to accommodate it. I am hoping to install the heater ~before~ the snow flies which might allow me to keep working on the inside over the winter months! Fingers crossed!
Thank you for sharing. Your build is going to be amazing. We are working on a van build too. Much older van, 2003 Ford 250 conversion. We are a couple of weeks out from completing it. Just subscribed to your channel. Look forward to seeing your progress.
Oh those old vans are cool! That must've been a fun conversion - congrats on your progress! I have a ways to go yet... I'm trying to get some key things done before winter hits! I have no garage large enough for the van so my build always stalls when the MN snow flies! Thank you for watching and subscribing! I appreciate it!
This is great!! I’m 60mmm as well 😂 working on getting a van to build. But now, I’m in the planning mode. One question, well actually two. First, wouldn’t a fan come in handy over your bed as well? Two, what happens if your actuators go out for any reason? I decided on a fixed bed for that reason. One less thing for this ol’ traveler to worry about on the road.
Hello fellow 60-something year old! A couple of things - the skylight is right over the bed (and it’s big!!). I hoping that the fan pulls air through the skylight BUT I also have sirrocco wall mount fan that I’ll be installing (which can be directed in any direction). Regarding a failure of the actuators, I am planning to have my benches convert to a bed as well. I’d like to take my two grandkids along at times. If it failed in a down position I guess I’d loose my sitting space until I could repair it. If it failed in an “up” position I’d sleep on the bench bed. I’m optimistic though! The EZ Topper Lift is made here in MN! Thank you for watching! If you start videos of your own, let me know! Until then happy planning!!
U R Amazing, it was great to meet you and you are inspiring with all you do.
