I have a Stealth Nomad 18' That I wanted to put a bed lift in the back. The Happy Jack bed lift systems cost around $2,500. They seem great! Except that is out of my budget, so I decided to build one myself and save some money. This Video shows my DIY Bed Lift that I built in my toy hauler. Some of it worked great. There are a few things that I would change if I were going to do it again. Over all I think it was a success. So, let me know what you think!

I did mine useing a electric motor from harbor freight and 4 belts that would work really well with your system

Having a powered system would be nice. Having to push mine up manually, it’s easy to get it a little crooked and it binds up. By myself it’s a little tricky. With 2 people it’s not bad.

What about cables tied to each corner with a pulley at the top and a garage door spring?

I was thinking of using sbr20 linear guide rails. I thought maybe I would order a set to make sure they are ridged enough and if not got up in diameter. Maybe an sbr30 or higher.
