this is just another case of a couple of business owners complaining about things they really know nothing at all about - because they live in their own little world their own little bubble of concerns. they're being just as ignored as the homeless people theyre unhappy with
The city supports the homeless by meeting basic needs... I'm all for helping but I witness the homeless drag an unusual amount of items and then leave them in parks, streets and empty lots. I thought there was a fine for littering... Time for people to take some responsibility for themselves and be held accountable. Some local guy who sleeps on a park bench said why should I get a $15.00 an hour job when I get a cell phone, tablet, food and clothing... there is no incentive for these people to change. I get some have mental health challenges but we need to start to look at alternatives for those who are able...
To help USA be strong, more money needs to be spent on things like social issues, and less on the war machine, and paying back the federal reserve with interest for money we borrowed from them.
I'm done feeling sorry for homeless folks. Most of them refuse help. Create a compound somewhere away from the rest of us who want to live and work in safe neighborhoods. Hopeworks is drawing these homeless people to that and other areas. Hopeworks needs to move or fix the problems they have and are creating. Same with the City. They are bringing homeless into areas with their "brilliant" ideas to use old hotels for housing, etc. Just move these drug addicts, homeless and the likes, along with Hopeworks somewhere far away from those of us who want to live in peace and safety
We need institutions again for people suffering with mental health issues and substance abuse. I think we have safeguards now that would prevent the abuse and experimentation that was going on in the asylums of the past. Something that would help people find a purpose that would be in line with their abilities.
Democrat activist groups like the ACLU don't like institutions that treat addiction and mental illness. They'd rather have the public deal with them out in the streets. Seems logical.
One way bus tickets to California
KEEP VOTING DEMOCRAT THESE DAYS AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU GET.
Thanks Democrats!
Being back forced commitals and asylums, they refuse to take the help
Good idea. Let them stay with you at your place.
Free tents, free food and no accountability. What more can we give them?
Cell phones and tablets

For what? Porn? That's all the addicts used the computers for at the public library
