yeah the videos are great and educational and i learned a lot, but i wasnt even into snakes when i first watched! it was a hatching video and one of the little babies was peeking out and there were hilarious comments like "egg too comfy i no come out" is why i started watching more 😂 i think i watched the last four month's worth of videos in one week and i dont even have pets lmao
I had to give my roommate's ball python a bath recently 'cause she had a very bad shed. She seemed to rather enjoy the bath 'cause she was drinking the water and just chilling in the tub- it was adorable. The only thing she didn't enjoy was when I had to gently rub her head to get one of her eye caps off.
Ball pythons do NOT enjoy baths. If they're having a rough shed bump up their humidity. Baths are extremely stressful for snakes and should only be done in extreme cases.
Hunter Miller She said she had to get the eye cap off. That absolutely is a reason to give them a bath. The snake seemed to be dehydrated too so. You can't diagnose people's snakes off one comment.

Some cobras naturally eat other snakes. For example, the Malaysian King Cobra's primary food source is other snakes and monitor lizards. Candy Cane was bred as a feeder and bought by her friend who works with cobras. He asked if she wanted to keep one and she picked Candy Cane. She has a video about it if you want to look it up.

I had a ball python that loved baths! We used them for variety in her diet by adding feeder fish for her as well as for enrichment/play time. We always used our bathtub and a huge flat rock. I'd sit and read while she played. Once she curled up on the rock and dried off, we'd put her back in her enclosure. It was awesome!

Hey Emily! 🤗 Thanks for another great and informative video! This was really helpful for me because I have wondered how to give my ball python a bath in the safest way possible. I gave her a bath a while back because she hadn't pooed for several weeks and I thought she might be constipated. She definitely hated it and tried to launch herself out of the tub so I took her out so she didn't get to stressed. The reason I mention this is because it would great if you could do a video about snake constipation and when a bath or something else might be needed. Hope someone sees this, it's worth a shot asking.

Thank you, Emily! I never thought about putting in something they can wrap their tail around on and that makes the instances I had to dip them in water, a little stressful even for me! Because I worry watching my girl slithering around like she is panicking - so I go in there and hold her and thus making it impossible for her to submerge her entire body, therefore stressing me out as I worry that I did not get her entire body wet. Whew! Thank you for this big time. Sometimes, it seems common sense but I guess it is not as common as we think. Lol. Thank you!
I just got a albino corn snake so excited for her to grow she is so tiny. I don't even need to give her a bath but I seen your video and wanted to be Informed if I ever did need to give her a bath.
We just found a snake that was clearly struggling with stuck shed. The only reason we knew what to do is because I watched this video some 3 years ago. We named the snake Honey, and she's doing pretty well now, the stuck shed issue has been resolved!
A breeder gives the hard to care for babies (aka the picky eaters) to a zoo for them to be Cobra food. Not exactly wrong persee as the cobras have to eat after all. Anyone someone who works there told her that they just got a new batch and if she wants him to get one of them, she said yes instantly and took her home. She was a bit hard to feed at first but she quickly bounced up and is now one of their beloved family members

Hey Emily! 🤗 Thanks for another great and informative video! This was really helpful for me because I have wondered how to give my ball python a bath in the safest way possible. I gave her a bath a while back because she hadn't pooed for several weeks and I thought she might be constipated. She definitely hated it and tried to launch herself out of the tub so I took her out so she didn't get to stressed. The reason I mention this is because it would great if you could do a video about snake constipation and when a bath or something else might be needed.
Hope someone sees this, it's worth a shot asking.

Thank you, Emily! I never thought about putting in something they can wrap their tail around on and that makes the instances I had to dip them in water, a little stressful even for me! Because I worry watching my girl slithering around like she is panicking - so I go in there and hold her and thus making it impossible for her to submerge her entire body, therefore stressing me out as I worry that I did not get her entire body wet. Whew! Thank you for this big time. Sometimes, it seems common sense but I guess it is not as common as we think. Lol. Thank you!

We just found a snake that was clearly struggling with stuck shed. The only reason we knew what to do is because I watched this video some 3 years ago. We named the snake Honey, and she's doing pretty well now, the stuck shed issue has been resolved!

A breeder gives the hard to care for babies (aka the picky eaters) to a zoo for them to be Cobra food. Not exactly wrong persee as the cobras have to eat after all. Anyone someone who works there told her that they just got a new batch and if she wants him to get one of them, she said yes instantly and took her home. She was a bit hard to feed at first but she quickly bounced up and is now one of their beloved family members
