R.I.P ♥️
I was so lucky to have had Tom as my reptile vet. He was a great man, always kind to all he met. He was so, so proud of you, Emily, and all you have done for the reptile community. He reiterated that every time I brought up the latest video on your channel. What a great memorial!
A good vet especially for exotic animals is worth more than their weight in gold I feel for you and snake discovery much love being sent out to his family
That is so beautiful! Congratulations!
How does this only have ten likes?
It's got 162 as of the time I'm commenting.
HI CLINT!!!!
When Clint is a fan of a reptile channel - you know they be good people.
Also RIP Tom, you will be dearly missed.
Clint!! :D
Rest in peace Tom, your legacy will forever live on in the hearts of the beautiful snakes you brought to the world.

Tom seemed like such a sweet guy. Sad to hear that he had a tragic accident. I hope that his family is healing.
It is nice to see his legacy live on through these beautiful hogs!
I was to
I’m absolutely devastated to hear about the loss of Tom Harbin. What an incredible person, gone way too soon, I’m so happy he got to spread his passion with others and your little Sunburst named Tom is such a sweet gesture and even more special knowing he gave it to you. I hope his legacy continues to live on. Congrats on the baby sunburst! And the beautiful sable, unfortunate to hear it had to be euthanised 😞
Oh man, that's so sad about Tom. Scuba diving accidents are no joke. A sobering reminder that we as Humans are land animals now, and the ocean no longer claims us as her own. We can only survive as visitors to its gentlest fringes.
Thank you for carrying on his legacy - that's what any elder would want for the future of their beloved work, I'm sure.
It's so tragic, yet I think for an animal lover, it's probably more along the lines of "die doing something that you love" than some other ways that we humans return to the earth that made us. I'm glad his love for animals will continue through these snakes, his fans and loved ones, and of course the people he inspired.
I have never heard of Tom before your videos but when he talked about how proud he was of you and your channel it actually made me tear up. He seemed so genuine, down to earth, and just so so kind. I'm so sorry that he passed away in an accident. May he rest in peace
Rest in peace Tom. I will praying for the family. I am your legacy will live through them. He seemed so kind and loving. On a lighter note, those snakes are just stunning. Him helping you produce sunbursts is just so sweet. 🧡
Oh that's so sad 😢 He seemed so nice when you guys interviewed him! RIP
Well I’m so excited about this clutch! But hearing that Tom has passed breaks my heart 😢
I ADORE the little striped/spotted fellow. And you KNOW Tom is looking down and grinning about your sunburst!
Rest in peace Tom, im glad your passion lives on
I am not at all involved in the hobby, but when i think of you guys walking around a show, Tom's face is who i think of for all other vendors. He just represents wisdom, excitement, and kindness
It’s probably asking a lot, but I really hope you guys keep both the “jaguar” looking one, and the “Tiger” striped one. I’d love to see if those could get their spot patterns line bred. They are some really interesting snakes.
That pairing is definitely one to try again. Beautiful babies. (And hopefully the kinked baby was just chance.)
The little Sable will be able to hang with Tom.
Good point, good idea to breed them again and make sure it's not genetic
Congrats on your own sunburst!!! ❤ I’m sure Tom would be incredibly proud
I'm so sorry for the loss to the reptile community. I remember your interview of Mr. Harbin. He seemed a genuinely nice man. I'm also sorry for the loss of the baby snake. I love how you care for each life that comes into your care. Thanks Ed & Emily for being here.
R.I.P❤❤ He's flying high watching over you and proud of you
I’m so sorry to hear about Tom! He spent a good while talking to my husband and I at a reptile show once even though we weren’t buying. He was so nice and what a wealth of knowledge gone.
They are so cute! Sunburst hognoses have to be one of my favourite morphs
Sunbursts and corals are my favorites
@@The-one-and-only-Fruitcake those are great choices they are both sooo pretty
Rest in much peace, Tom. You will always be loved and have a special place in our hearts.
Tom Harben would be so proud to see your tribute to him. I’m so sorry for your loss. Congratulations on this clutch you hatched some amazing babies ❤
Sunburst babies! They’re adorable!!
Is anyone says this is fake they don’t watch snake videos , because they are very cute.
Rest in peace Tom you seemed like a great guy. And your legacy will live on. On the bright side Congratulations on sunburst hogs
Absolutely gorgeous clutch of girls!!! Can't wait to see Miss Harbin grow up ❤
Awe, sad about the sable. Also, Harbin is a lovely name. May Tom rest in peace and his memory live on in Harbin.
So sorry to hear about Tom... Truly a BIG loss to this world... So sad about that beautiful sable with the kink too... That little girl was gorgeous!!! 🐍
I’m sorry for your loss and I agree he was a very good friend and a very sweet man
Tom was truly an amazing man and vet. I think it’s beautiful you get to carry his legacy on with such a beautiful snake. He will be very missed in this community ❤
My deepest sympathies to the family and reptile friends at the sad loss of such a legend. Sending love from Wales 🏴
rest in peace tom, you will be very much missed by many. those sunbursts look gorgeous by the way!
The news about Tom Harbin is so sad. He's one of those rare people who you could feel their lovely energy even though you never interacted with them in person. May he rest in peace 🕊️
We bought our little hognose Tobi from Tom and his lovely family in June of this year. He was such an interesting man to talk with and I am glad to have met him! ❤
I still can’t believe you took my suggestion for Sunset and Sunrise’s names. Truly so honored. The sunburst morph is my favorite and my dream morph to own, but out of my budget for now. I own one your albinos now, from Charlotte and Bueller. I’ve gotten one meal in him, but he’s been stubborn since, so now I have to try some tricks to get him eating again.
I’m so sorry for the loss of Tom, who seemed so kind and so passionate about snakes. I know it must be a difficult loss to the community as a whole.
R.I.P. Tom, you are missed. Thank you for all your contributions and your kindness.
You know it’s a good day when snake discovery posts a hatching video
Sunburst BABIES!!! YAYYYYY! Great job! You did well!
Hi snake discovery I love your videos and I’m so sorry that two of your snakes got stolen at the Schaumburg show and your suitcase and please keep making your amazing vids keep it up
RIP Mr Harbin. May God rest your beautiful soul forever and always in The Kingdom of Heaven. Amen 🙏🏽. May God continue to heal the hearts of all of his family, friends and all the lives he has touched over the years. Amen 🙏🏽. Hognose snakes are my favorites. I always get so excited when the title of the video mentions hognose snakes. I click on the video as fast as I can. My heart breaks when they don’t make it. Love you guys with all my heart.❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's always so awful when we lose people to accidents. It's always such a punch to the gut to lose someone so quickly like that. Make sure you always treat the people you love with care, you never know when they'll be gone. My mom and I always try to say goodbye to eachother in the morning before we leave for work just in case one of us doesn't make it home. That way our last words will be "Good bye" and we'll have gotten one last hug.
:O I love sunburst hog noses! Also R.I.P Tom :,(
2:03 was some fantastic editing
Just stunning. So happy for you guys. Congrats on the sunburst.
Oh man... Tom Harbin was SO sweet when you interviewed him, and so knowledgeable too! Him explaining the first lavenders having some problems and how he's a vet was so interesting. One of those things you want to spend a while listening and discussing with that person. I'm so glad y'all got a sunburst, and I'm sure he'd be proud. Selfishly, I do wish he (or any of the other amazing vets I've seen tbh) could attempt surgery for kinked bbs like the sable, but I'm sure his family are missing him more now for far better reasons. So good y'all got new life (and a sunburst! Rooting for her to be able to be named Lil Harbin) after life has passed.
What a loss. RIP Tom. My condolences to his family and friends.
More babies... Hope Emily and Ed are excited for more babies. Love you guys so much ❤❤❤
the "We're all family" made me tear up
Rest in peace Tom. So sad but his legacy will live on in our hearts and thoughts.
Omg that's my new fav morph! But it's sad he's gone he went to a good place!
I'm so sorry to hear about Tom, RIP sir. Sunburst is absolutely gorgeous
What a video!!! Such joy and sadness today! RIP TOM. Also look forward to see snake Tom grow up and make more sunburst and continue with Toms Legacy!
Omg, I didn't know that Tom passed away. That is devastating. My heart goes out to his family. I got my lavender hognose from Tom at Tinley a few years ago. He was the sweetest man and had so much education to share. I found myself drawn back to his table many times over the weekend. His wife was so sweet and supportive. Rest in peace, Tom.
those babies are just a blessing sent down from tom
rest in peace tom, its amazing that you guys are honoring him and him legacy by naming the snake he gave you Tom. May Tom the snake live a long and healthy life!!
So sad about that Sable… and Tom 😢 Here’s to hoping that yall can produce more Sunburst and Sables next breeding season!!
I am making a mental headcannon that his love for snakes was so great that he got reborn as what he loves. A snake from the clutch of the snake he gifted.
Poor baby snake 😢 good on you for not letting her suffer
I'm crying 💔 Rest easy with all the hoggie babies in the sky Tom. I remember that clip, he seemed like such a lovely man
I can still remeber the video where you interviewed him, I don’t remember a lot about all of the genetics but this one was so beautiful, rip
Congratulations you're such beautiful little babies
Yes just what I needed baby noodles!
I am hungry because they are Danger Noodle
RIP Tom Harvin. Good man!
I remember Tom Harbin from your videos and he seemed really nice! I hope his loved ones are doing okay.
Tom please continue watching over all snakes, reptiles, amphibians, and fellow lovers of these beautiful and amazing animals on our Earth. Thank you.
RIP those baby's r beautiful ❤️❤️
Beautiful Baby Sunbursts! they are so cute!!!!
Seemed like such a nice man!! He's up there watching all the critters go across the rainbow bridge ❤. R.I.P. so excited u got a sunburst to hatch, all the babies were beautiful!!
Devastated to hear about the loss of Tom Harbin. Thank you for carrying on his legacy !
What a great way to honor him. He'd be proud of you and your sunburst clutch.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Tom Harvin. What a great loss for everyone. I lost my sister on Oct 3rd this year, and it's been hard. RIP Tom, and RIP sis Tracy😢.
Tom’s legacy will continue through all of reptile communities.. oh Emily, Please add the link below, then we can watch his gentle smiles and his wonderful advice for all hognose keepers!
I love how Emily can just tell.
It’s amazing how well she knows snakes.🐍
Tom blessed your clutch with amazing odds! ❤ rest in peace
Rest in peace to Tom Harbin ❤🙏
Amazing! Been waiting for sunvuests being bred, but the happiness always has to end at some point, Tom, was an amazing reptile breeder, RIP 😢
9:03 glamour🐆
Interesting, kind of funny, and cool vid. Cute baby snakes. R.I.P. Tom Harvin
I have never wanted a snake until I started watching Tyler Nolen and his Friends and of all the snakes My two fav's are hog nose snakes and Gabon's. But with my luck I would end up dead with a gabby.. I now know what i want. I want a sunburst Hoggy. TY those are gorgeous.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend Tom :(
Omg I love this video!! So sad but exciting and happy at the same time. What an emotional video!
Instead of Tom, you should name the snake Harbinger. A tribute to Mr. Harbin, and also because his passing was an omen for the clutch that produced your first sunburst baby.
Hello Em & Ed
I love hatching time, omg they’re amazing ❤
Love the video and absolutely love you guys
9:45 "thanks for musking on me girl ✨️" is such a tumblr thing to say lmao
Bueatiful baby hogs
RIP Tom was always a sweetheart and I fell in love with his snakes
i am so sorry i bet he was so sweet! 😭😭😭😢😢😢😢
That look so cute and pretty 🎉🎉
my gosh he so vibrant
So cute and pretty! I love hognoses so much.
RiP Tom. What an absolute legend.
Omg so sorry for your loss but the babies are adorable
RIP Tom. My condolences to his family and all who loved him.
So, Albino + Hyermel (kinda, increased, not full black). There are Bluetongues like that here in Australia (The Hypermels are PURE BLACK though), and the combo of the two was named "Lava" by the guy that proved the combo out (Joe Ball).
So yeah, 'Sunburst' Hognoses are (kinda) the equivelent to a 'Laval' Bluey!
I'm so sad to hear about Tom! He wasn't afraid to live! Wow! Rest in peace 🕊 TOM!!!!
What a year, Snake Discovery, with all the losses of snakes and reptiles, EDs appendix, and now this news of this 😢. Hopefully the year ends in a good note.
OMG YOU GUYS HOW!!!!! THEY ARE SOOO CUTE CONGRATS!
6:00 Not exactly sure on how the morph works, but that baby looks kind of like a Tiger Morph hognose. The tiger morph is a pattern morph that turns a hognose's spots into stripes. It's a polygenic trait. I could be wrong though, as I'm not too familiar with how genes work.
im sorry for your loss ♡
