Sony has been working secretly on some sort of new handheld but it seems it will never come out. Andrew House has confirmed that all they want right now is to be the king of your gaming living room and that hybrid consoles like the Nintendo Switch arent even a focus of their attention.

In a recent interview with Andrew House when asked about making a new PS VITA or at least a new Sony handheld like the Playstation vita to go along with the PS4 and playstation 4 bro he said “The Nintendo Switch is a hybrid device, thus it has a completely different strategy from the PlayStation,” House said. “We are focusing our attention on making products that can be played in the living room. We do not see big potential in the handheld market.”
This rant is about the possible hopes and dreams that have been crushed by this idea of no longer worrying about the handheld market.
