That's the most beautiful 2004 T-Bird I've ever seen .......I would consider putting a black soft top on it if it were mine .... that would be stunning!

Unlike the ORIGINAL 1955 Thunderbird & 1956 model it was 1957 before Thunderbird would even have a 12 Volt electric system that would properly support a descent Air-conditioning system. None of these Thunderbirds had 4 wheel antilock braking systems OR front and side airbag protection as do the 2002-2005 models. The 2002 through 2005 Thunderbirds had engines that gave these cars the ZIP you'd expect for a sport car and they also provided increased fuel savings features along with an automatic ""trip" switch to turn off the fuel pump should the car be hit hard enough to send it rolling out of control. These models were actually resting on top of Ford DEW (or DEW98) Lincoln LS and Jaguar type of chassis. Weight distribution front to rear on Thunderbirds were nearly the same and is why the car handled the roadway so well.
You could spend more and drive a costly import BUT it won't have the same Americana feel and fit of Thunderbird.

I drove a lot of miles in a 57 T Bird. Looked sexy, but not a comfortable ride, these retro I'd like to try, I'm sure light years ahead, my Dad was a Ford Principal, so he drove them from 50s 60s 70s, in the 80s they lost that sexy IMO

I just purchased a silver 2004 T-Bird w/optional silver hardtop and the same contrasting interior/steering wheel. Mine has 40K miles. Waiting for it to be delivered in three days. I wonder what this one sold for.

Yes, it is truly a beautiful color. I own a 2002 in what is called ' triple black' meaning black body, top & interior. It just turned 19,000 miles. Its a terrific car, great to drive. Hope you're enjoying yours.

Jensen, MG RV8, and a touch of Aston. That would have sold well in the UK and Europe - with a different engine of course.

Was the teal exterior color the only one you could get the exterior color on the interior details panels too?

No, it was an option with all the colours.

Hello, I liked your presentations better when you talked more, and weren't so direct in selling the cars.

You are a good salesman - but this TBird era is not always lauded for styling. Headlights like pulling back a kitten's eyelids; bad hood-deck proportion (LONG-short, known by Ford since at least its '55 TBird launch)!

It’s just a shame that it’s automatic. Roadsters should have manual transmissions.

I think I'd agree with you about the beauty of a 57 T bird but, that's where it ends for the 57.. For half the price, you're still getting a genuine T bird but with all the amenities that simply didn't exist in the late 50's including power everything, AM/FM with CD changer and possibly premium sat radio radio over AM radio available only in 57. Nearly twice the gas mileage and far finer interior than in the 50's and every bit as stylish. The disk brake system is a far more efficient braking system than the old drum style of the 50's as well.. Plus the air bag system makes the 2005 T bird 300% safer on the road too. Just think of servicing a 1957 292 c.i. v-8 today, do they even make genuine FoMoCo parts for the 57's 292? Nah, I'd choose this 2005 T bird any day over a 55-57 T bird.. Even if it was Candy Apple Red!

And rides like a lumber truck and breaks down 10 times more often, if you want actually tour around, this is the better choice, I know I owned a 57, and a 66, and travelled in an 05 light years more comfortable and ease to drive
