This video has me wanting a Glimmer machine now lol! I am really interested in the different ways to use the plates, thanks for showing us. I’m sure the teacher will be touched by your thoughtfulness in making such a lovely card for her. As a former (retired) teacher I can testify that appreciation for all the hard work entailed is very lacking!
My absolute favourite thing about you as a crafter is that you introduce me to so many different techniques and uses of products that I would never have thought of. I also love that you show so many different examples and cards in one video. You’re great at explaining things and giving different options and I seriously love it. You inspire me to be more experimental with my crafts, and my limited craft supplies don’t feel as limited anymore. Thank you for sharing, Jennifer! These cards are so beautiful!
Wow! These are great cards!! I have seen hot foil dies, but I haven't purchased any because I do not have a hot foil machine. Now I know I CAN use them!!! You are a great instructor!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us!
Jennifer, every time a new video comes out of yours, I want to buy buy buy! Crafting & Art hobbies are so expensive, but I love it! Thanks for sharing your cards, we appreciate it!
Another good way to extend the use of things you already have. There can never be too many of those ideas. Thank you for the time you put into these videos! Have a great Sunday!
I love the variety you used in these glimmer plates and dies. Each of your cards and easel turned out so pretty and functional. I get mine this week and can’t wait to get started using these and other techniques. Thank you so much Jennifer.
WOW Jennifer these cards are just amazing. Thank you for sharing such wonderful ideas for the supplies we have available to us. I always learn so much from watching your videos & I’m so thankful for the time you take to share your talents with us. Thank you!!
Yours is the third video I’ve seen that shows putting that easel together and your instructions were THE best. Clear and concise. Also of importance, you pronounced the word ‘easel’ correctly. (May sound silly but it’s so distracting!). Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this idea. I purchased a glimmer plate by accident. I do not have a glimmer machine, so had no idea what to do with the plate. Now I do!!
Thank You so much. Stayed away fro the foiling plates because I don't own the machine, but now I would love to own some of the designs to make an inked impression. Always learn from you...THANK YOU!
By faith, I just go ahead and like every video up front because I already know I will love it when I finish watching. Just so you know, I have yet to be disappointed. Thanks so much for sharing your gifts! Now let me go ahead and watch. 😂
Jennifer McGuire Ink You’re welcome, sis! I watched it several times between last night and this morning. So good! I don’t have a foiling machine, but I do have a few hot foil plates. I bought them with this technique in mind as a result of watching some of your other videos! Can’t wait to try this out! Grace and peace.
Once again plenty of great ideas. I especially appreciate that you show how to use items in different ways as some of us have a very small budget or products are not easily available outside of USA.
En mi país no hay tantas cosas como las presentadas, y si las hay son muy costosas. Pero disfruto ver su creatividad. Como es natural en usted, una clase magistral. Gracias.
Hi Jennifer! Thanks for putting such interesting and comprehensive videos out there for us. You mentioned home schooling in a more recent video and I just wanted to send out love and prayers to you all!! I'm glad you prioritize your family
I have the Spellbinders Hot Foil System and I love it! I’m also a member of the LDOM and SDOM. I’m so happy to see you make wonderful cards with them! Such creative ways to use them! Thanks for encouraging and inspiring!♥️♥️♥️
I so appreciate this information, Jennifer. I'm new to cardmaking and am just getting started gathering equipment and supplies. I wish I could afford to "buy it all" right now, but that's just not possible. At the same time, I want to be able to use different things to make individual cards. So now, if I get a hotfoil die, I'll know what to do with it. - Also, that little easel and canvas are brilliant! I used to paint (acrylics and oils) and love the idea of a little canvas on my own desk... something I can change the "painting" on. I have a couple of medical conditions that have made me feel pretty useless the last few years. It's why I'm giving cardmaking a try... because I've had to give up the hobbies I used to do. I think this little easel is a great way for me to be able to encourage myself and make me feel a little bit better.
Thank you for the great ideas! I just ordered the large die kit monthly subscription and can’t wait to make one of the canvas and easels. I also have a ton of foiling plates so thank you for a great way to use them!
Great technique! I've been waffling about purchasing the Spellbinders foiling machine and this just adds another check to the pro column. Now what really makes me happy are those beautiful clean, flat, crystal clear cutting plates : ) It is definitely past time for me to replace mine.
That's funny that's what I was doing yesterday. I'm making thank you cards sets It's so much fun to use.. I'm still collecting hot foil dies. Great video....
Great ideas! I have some glimmer hot foil plates and not the foiling system. I have seen your other wonderful video so I bought my plates from spellbinders on sale! I knew I could do many things with them and I have created some really cools cards. I'm going to try sticky ink and foil next! Thank you so much for your amazing videos, much appreciated. God bless
Ive been thinking about the glimmer foiling system since it came out. I’m convinced I will enjoy using hot foiling for many cards. In fact I can see foiled scrapbooking embellishments in my future. The dies that are coming out are so awesome. I really like the way you show us to think about using these for more than just foiling. Thank you for many fantastic examples. I’m excited to get this and try the many ways you show to use these. I hope you might use Yana’s Christmas themed foiling plates in a future video. I know I’ll love anything you do. Thanks so much for inspiring us.
What a lovely encouragement gift. Jennifer McGuire is such a thoughtful creator. I imagine for teachers who are teaching during this pandemic confronting both the new technology as well as trying to manage a very different classroom must be daunting indeed. Giving them some visual encouragement is a fantastic idea. Plaid’s channel has a video on Zoom spoons recently. Painted spoons for giving teachers visual feedback. Very cheerful. Since you can both make impressions with our regular cutting dues as well as foil with them, does this mean that I could make an inked impression too? I hadn’t thought to try that but I’m going to give it a go now.
I have hot plates I used on Christmas cards. Now I can use the same plates again, but make them a part of the background instead of the focal image. Thanks so much!
Jennifer you are so talented, Thank You so very much for sharing with all of us and giving us so much inspiration to better our selfs in learning new Beautiful techniques. Sending Love, Hugs and Happy Thoughts. Please Stay Safe, Healthy and Happy XOXO Vicki from Utah ❤😊❣🤟🏼
I love your videos Jennifer, you inspire me with all your creative ideas. I'm curious about whether you can use hot foil dies to adhere foil with Deco Foil transfer gel and no heat? Have you tried that?
Just lovely, I was waiting for the white pigment ink! Check out The Ton's new dies and stamps that cut all the pieces at once as they are connected. You probably already know but doesn't hurt to say. :)))
I love your video! I have to try making an impression with the Glimmer plates. I have a quick question though, do you clean your plates (after inking them) with a stamp cleaner? 😘
Jennifer. I bought a Sizzix Big Shot machine from a local retailer but they don't sell the Big Shot items any longer. Are the items such as the metal shim, and tan embossing mat necessary for doimg impressions and if so do you know where I might be able to get them. Thanks.
Excellent tips ! Really makes you feel better about the money spent on foiling dies ... although, if you’re patient, Spellbinders discounts their dies; I picked up several at Hobby Lobby for 75% off !

thank you - you are wonderful!
Wonderful video. Distracts me from my foot pain and teaches me at the the same time. Your a great person.
take care!
Jennifer, your voice is so soothing. These crafting companies should be blessed with you showing us how to do these things. Wonderful!!
Judy Farmer my sentiments exactly!!! ❤️
Wow! These are great cards!! I have seen hot foil dies, but I haven't purchased any because I do not have a hot foil machine. Now I know I CAN use them!!! You are a great instructor!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us!
If they gave a Nobel prize for crafting, you would win it every time! Thank you for another stellar video!
These cards are fabulous. Thanks for showing us the many techniques you can do with these dies and foiling.

Covering/correcting your mistake is the best tip of all ... genius ! Mind blown, lol ! If only my mistakes turned out that well !
Yours is the third video I’ve seen that shows putting that easel together and your instructions were THE best. Clear and concise. Also of importance, you pronounced the word ‘easel’ correctly. (May sound silly but it’s so distracting!). Thank you!

Beautiful cards Jennifer!
Thanks for taking the time to show us these techniques.
I look forward to your videos!
I would buy the hot foil system just for the flower set! That is gorgeous! More beautiful, creative cards from Jennifer. TY! 😀👍🏻

Excellent tutorial, Jennifer. Just received my Glimmer Hot Foil Sytem, so this tutorial is perfect!
I have the Spellbinders Hot Foil System and I love it! I’m also a member of the LDOM and SDOM. I’m so happy to see you make wonderful cards with them! Such creative ways to use them! Thanks for encouraging and inspiring!♥️♥️♥️
Ok Cindy, what does LDOM and SDOM stand for, I'm at a loss!? Thanks!
OMG!! These cards and ideas are wonderful. Should keep us busy for awhile. TFS
Jennifer, are you the genius paper engineer who designed the easel set? Gotta love it, it’s so out of the box thinking. Bravo!
I love this project you always bring it with you card designs.
Love seeing how you can make the most of any product! Very, very nice.

Great idea to use my foil plates to emboss! You are truly so creative. Thank you.
Love all of your hints on the using or not using foil embossing...beautiful
You've done it again... wonderful ideas. Of course, the cards are gorgeous!
Teresa Sanner-Fecto my sentiments exactly!!
I would love another video on this topic! Thank you for sharing your talent! Spellbinders does have awesome dies. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for showing how to use the foil die without the foil machine...this was very helpful and your card are fabulous.....TFS
Thank you so much for the video of other ways of using hot foil dies. Enjoyed the video, as usual.
Great ideas! I have some glimmer hot foil plates and not the foiling system. I have seen your other wonderful video so I bought my plates from spellbinders on sale! Just beautiful, Jennifer! I love how well you describe your process. So easy to understand. You are so talented! Tfs! 💗😊
I’ve always been so intimidated by foiling and you make this so accessible! Thank you!

My pleasure Jennifer 🥰 !
Wonderful ideas. Thank you.
I love your video! I have to try making an impression with the Glimmer plates.
I have a quick question though, do you clean your plates (after inking them) with a stamp cleaner? 😘
just a dry cloth or baby wipe
amazing i have no words
Jennifer, I’ve ordered a Glimmer machine but I only have Sizzix die cutting machines. Do you know if the “Glimmer sandwich” will go through a Sizzix?
The Glimmer website says it will work with Sizzix machines
Jennifer. I bought a Sizzix Big Shot machine from a local retailer but they don't sell the Big Shot items any longer. Are the items such as the metal shim, and tan embossing mat necessary for doimg impressions and if so do you know where I might be able to get them. Thanks.
you can use this. www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Sizzix-EMBOSS-AND-IMPRESSIONS-PAD-Tools-662111-662111SZ?currency=USD
@@jennifermcguireink thanks so much Jennifer. 😊
I have wondered if you could use lift offink on hot foil plate and lift ink off alchohol ink backgrounds!
So much fun!
Thank you so much! Love the video!
Could you please tell me where to get larger sentiment words die cuts besides Birch Press? Thank you in advance.
