What a cool technique! What temperature do you use for the iron?
sorry i shoudl have mentioned. it is on high!
Jennifer McGuire Ink no worries! Thanks so much!
Bonnie-jean Rowe Thank you for asking this question! I was wondering the same. I’m happy Jennifer replied so quickly! 🙂
Such beautiful techniques! Thank you so much for sharing. I haven’t used the ironing technique in years, and forgot how beautiful it looks. I remember it from your thinking inking series on two peas that ran during the summer, years ago. So fun! 😊
Anyone else like me who's not gonna make cards but just enjoys watching?
Yup me!
And her voice over is so soothing!
Jennifer, you are an amazing teacher! I know that you hear this all the time but that’s because it’s true. You speak clearly, directly and always teach us step by step techniques that are amazing. I have only been card making for a few months and I have learned so much from you. I am thankful and grateful that you share your knowledge here on UA-cam.
@MadisonLook: You are learning from a great teacher. I found her when I started out about 3 years ago and have learned so much as well. I'm still learning from her. I have learned so much about card making. I follow others, but Jennifer is my guru. (6/27/2020)
Jennifer All of your Cards are so Exquisite not only do I want them all, But this is the Best of the BEST I have ever seen. There all so Breathtaking Beautiful Cards, I found that I was leaning more to the ironed off cards, But yes I do Love them allThey are so delicate or should I use the word so dainty🥰❤❣ Boy I'm going to have to be put on a budget lol. But I'll wait until I get all the supplies that you have used in your tutorial 🥰😊❤❣ Yeah I Love all your Cards😊❣ Thanks for sharing Jennifer I have learned so much from this tutorial Thank You.
You realise you just basically did an art therapy session?! 😜🥰🙏🏼 Loved every single card. Colours and techniques were amazing. I don’t have many background stamps, maybe one or two, so I’ll do what you suggested and create my own by restamping an image repeatedly. Great idea. 👏🏼⭐️
JENNIFER .........ABSOLUTELY STUNNING......I REALLY LOVED ALL THESE SAMPLES AND WHAT GREAT CARDS.......THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS IN SHARING ALL THIS WITH ALL OF US..........BLESS YOU..................PAT
Hi Jennifer, I just love your longer videos because they are filled with awesome card techniques. All of these cards are soooooo beautiful with such a soothing softness just like your spirit. Thank you for always sharing 🤗😇❤️
Eine SUPER SUPER TOLLE IDEE UND MEGA WUNDERSCHÖN MIT WASSER VERMISCHBARE STEMPELKISSENFARBE ♡♡♡♡ DANKE DANKESCHÖN VIEL MALS♡♡♡
I only have one problem watching your videos... I want every stamp you use, lol! Fantastic technique! I lost count of how many times I said WOW while I was watching. This is ironing I won't mind doing..lol. Thanks for sharing another amazing technique with us.
Jennifer, you need to grow California poppy seeds! Just throw them in dirt, lightly rake and then water lightly. They’ll grow in poor soil, multiply and thrive on neglect! Love your videos!
I love your longer videos. You really get stuck into the techniques.
Love all the beautiful backgrounds and colours, but to my surprise I really fell for the soft golden one - it's absolutely stunning.
Now I know what I'm doing today. I've have been stamping for over 20 years and it amazes me that
I'm learning new techniques almost daily. Thank you Jennifer
Very unique technique and GORGEOUS cards!!! God has really gifted you with creativity!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
More WOW cards! All I can say is Jennifer, you are a genius and we all are sending you rubber hugs right now for this technique video!!! That cute silver seahorse card is my favorite, but I honestly love all of them!!
I just rewatched this. You are BRILLIANT! Thank you! These cards are Amazing!😻
Jennifer... wanted to tell you how grateful I am for your constant inspiration during such a challenging time for all of us... when I feel like extremely "blue" I can get on here and you've got a video that brings hope & inspiration and stirs my creative juices... I went straight to Simon Says Stamps and ordered some background stamps to work with and intend to make a bunch of "2 for 1" cards to send out for encouragement to fam & friends... I can count on you to pick me up... thank you is a very small word... truly thank you! Much Love.
Every one of these are so beautiful. The “happy” card makes me think of a batik print. I’ve been talking myself out of the daisy stamp forever. This gives me the final push to get it (& a few others 😂) Thanks for revisiting this. I can’t wait to make a few today.
You NEVER cease to amaze me! Love love love!!! 💕
Fantastic! I haven’t scrapbooked in about 2 years, but I am going to get my stuff out now!! Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring
This is one of my favorite techniques that I learned from you years ago! I love being reminded ❤️ Beautiful cards!
Love the iron off technique and the two cards from one! Have several of these dies and stamps or something similar. Thank you for all you do!

“Sigh” - these are absolutely stunning!
Liked them all but fell in love with the "Thankful you make my life beautiful" background, outstanding!
Wow....you really outdid yourself this time. I mean...you always do but...that long of a video. I was so excited to see how long the video was and all the wonderful techniques you shared. Thank you so much. I know that took a lot of your time, but you should know we always appreciate what you do. So again...thank you and hope you and your family stay safe!
This is magical! I would never had imagined how beautiful it could turn out! Thank you for sharing!!
Jennifer your creativity is so inspiring to me, I wish i'd had you as an art teacher when I was younger.
This is so beautiful and looks like a wonderful way to create different looks for our cards.
Oh Jennifer, you’re such a clever girl! I love this idea of getting two for one! I have a feeling I’ll be buying a whole host of background stamps now!
These are so beautiful. The warm colored ones are to die for! So inspirational especially with those color palettes! Thank you for all the awesome tips and techniques.
This is brilliant! :D two in one, I love how the same pattern can look so different, this is something I really need to have a go at :D
Thank you 💜
Those are beautiful and easy Technics. I appreciate your help and excellent descriptions.
I love that you used your misti as a board for the backgrounds. Very clever idea!
Great ideas and a wonderful use of already have stamps!
All I can say is WOW! A great way to make a lot of awesome backgrounds. Than you Jennifer for taking the time to create and share this video at no cost to us. Thank you for sharing
I watched your original video on ironing off years ago. Loved it then. Still love it. These cards are all phenomenal and yes, the things I didn't originally order from Simon are - gasp - out of stock. You are a drug dealer, ma'am. Thanks for the wonderful long video.
Wonderful technique, amazingly beautiful cards. Thank you so much Jennifer. God bless and protect you and all your family.
Once again Jennifer, you are sharing your genius with us. This is very inspirational!!!
Fabulous demo Jennifer and totally amazing inspiration. Thank you so much xx
What a fabulous video FULL of techniques - I cannot wait to give some of these techniques a go!
As usual you are so creative and have so much knowledge of the products you use that you can come up with so many variations that put you as the “front runner” of inventive techniques. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your incredible ideas.
I have so many background stamps that I didn’t know what to do with them. Now I do!! Big thank you!like that you tell us the stamps and ink pad colours ect.
Hello Jennifer. You have become one of my favorite youtube instructors. Love the way you explain what you're doing.
Mind Boggling! That's what you are my dear Jennifer! Beautiful, beautiful cards. I remember this technique from awhile back, but I don't think I ever tried it. This release from Simon is so chalked full of goodness, it's crazy! Thank you Jennifer!
Every card is so beautiful. Thank you!
You never cease to amaze me Jennifer! 💐🌸💐
You are wonderful! I could watch you all day! Thanks!
Beautiful technique Jennifer! I love it.
Woohoo! Talk about making a lot of cards once again... love these! Those holographic pearls are gorgeous! Each card is so lovely... thank you so much for brightening my day!
What beautiful cards! Oh, how I’ve enjoyed watching this morning with my coffee! Thanks so much for your great tutorials Jennifer!
Fantastic, Jennifer ! Beautiful cards, thankyou for sharing them all.
I am in awe at how many beautiful cards you created using this technique.
I can't wait to try these techniques! As always, such beautiful cards. Thanks!
Always appreciate and LOVE your work, Jennifer! Thank you!
WOW!! Once again, you've really shown how to stretch our supplies!!! AND kept it fairly simple. There were several backgrounds that I was ooohhing and aahhing over as you were going along. I have a date with antique linen, wild honey, pumice stone, and pearlized water in the near future! These cards really make me so glad I own the TH DI connection, although I haven't played with them nearly enough lately!!
Thanks for so many ideas. I just love sea / deep sea / sea life cards. Your instruction is magnificent, take it from a teacher beginning her 28th year. Well, maybe live from my living room or 3-season porch! Nice work, Jennifer! Thanks very much! I hit "thumbs up" for you.
AWESOME cards/ideas Jennifer!!! You did it AGAIN!!! 💕
BeYOUtiful cards, awesome technique, and 2 for 1s.....'man, that's awesome'! Thanks Jennifer and please, stay safe!
Wow, what a marathon of a video! Thank you for all the work you do for us. I look forward to trying this technique with my background stamps.
WOW, such wonderful background with the technique that you have shown.....I loved both the original and the second technique.....well done Jennifer.....TFS
These are so beautiful ! I can't wait to try this technique.
Love, love, love this water technique. Your UA-cam channel is great. I just wish Simon says stamps weren’t so expensive!
Oh my gosh, these are all so beautiful and fun. Happy to learn this technique!
Love Love Love this technique Jennifer!
Love this. You were the person who inspired me to buy distress inks and background stamps. I'd never tried them before and now they're a staple on almost every card. That first iron off video started me on this journey and I'm so thankful it did! xxx
Hope you're ok, given the recent loss in your family. Sending love and hugs.
These backgrounds are amazing! I'm trying the iron technique today.
Thank you for continuing to teach me what can be done with my stamps and inks. Such a special gift you have.
This is great! Now I know what to do with that iron I found in the back of a closet today... still in the box, never used. It was obviously a gift from someone who doesn't know me. LOL I was going to 'yard sale' it, but not now. Now it's useful.
Such a cool technique! I can’t wait to try it! Thanks my crafty Sistah! 💕
OH MY! 🤩 These all made me smile with sheer excitement!! I 😍love😍 all of your background stamps & many very helpful tips! (thanks Ricky for the binder clip on embossing pad!) Jennifer, I enjoyed watching each one & will definitely try your techniques with the background & individual stamps & stencils that I have! I’ll have to watch a few times so I can the iron off technique. (I saw your answer-iron is set on high, thanks!) My favorite part is when you said, “it’s ok if they look a hot mess”, because this is usually how things look whenever I craft, a hot colorful mess! Lol 😂 I’m glad to know these will turn out beautiful once dried! You make me want to buy all of what you’ve used just to make the exact same cards!!! Lol 😂 They are just that amazing!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!! 🖤
This is the most interesting u-tube I've watched in a long time. Love all the different things you've done after the initial stamping, ironing and all the rest. I've done this many years ago, but not the full background stamps. Like it so much. Will look at it many times while making these cards. Thank you for all these ideas.
These are all gorgeous!
Thanks for giving us some golden oldies. I haven't done this in a long time. I will be doing tons again.
Just love the bright colors!
Such a fun video Jennifer! Jam-packed with great ideas and absolutely gorgeous cards. I’m a sucker for pearlized/shimmer backgrounds because they totally morph as they catch the light. Magic! Lol TFS 👍😀
These are ALL so lovely ❤️❤️
So many beautiful cards🥰
I love this technique. Now I have to go through all of my background stamps and give this a try. TYFS
Wonderfully taught. When you turned the waves upside, it made me think of clouds
Really gorgeous cards! Love the technique.
OMG. Clever, clever lady. How beautiful are these cards. Too hard to pick my favourite.😻
Fabulous! My favourite cards are; the first completed one you showed in blues with overall floral pattern with the stacked daisy dies. My other favourite is the shell backgrounds. They are all gorgeous, but the blues are calling to me more. 😊❤🇬🇧👏
Thanks for all the tips and techniques Jennifer!
Love this technique! Thank you for teaching us. I so appreciate you! ❤️❤️❤️
Love, love all the cards. What an idea. Will definitely try these techniques. TFS
Love this video! Thank you so much for sharing these wonderfully creative ideas. I can't wait to try them. You are amazing and I am so grateful you have chosen to share your talent with us.
These are absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to get busy with this technique!
These cards are beautiful! Most demos I like one or two of the cards they make. These are ALL so pretty! And you included all of them in this video. Now of course I need to try some of these techniques. Unfortunately I don’t have many background stamps. But you have shown me some possibilities for background stamps. Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed it
It almost looks like batik. I guess that makes sense, as the process is similar. How beautiful!
Gorgeous cards!
Thanks for sharing...
How fun! Many thanks for using Distress Inks. I find I use my oxides more and forget the unique qualities of the inks.
Can’t wait to try this!! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Beautiful backgrounds, my favourite in the Seashell stamp set. The colours that you used are stunning. Xx
Wow! Loved them all!
Absolutely beautiful. Will try this as soon as I finish watching. Thank you for sharing your amazing imagination and artistry with us
Barbara, from Vancouver Island Canada
