Have you looked into getting a 3D printer and printing your own stands? There are heaps of different designs available (or you can design your own) and only cost a couple of dollars each to print. They won’t be to the same standard as a Rose Colored Gaming display, however they more than do the job. I have recently printed a bunch of Gameboy and N64 controller stands for my collection and they turned out great!
Those mario-themed wiimotes jumped in value like crazy.. the toad one, yoshi one, bowser one,.. all going for $80+ bucks and I believe they retailed at $29.99 at launch like 10 years ago!
@@NintendoCollecting I remember wanting to collect them too... the aesthetic of them is just so well done.. I really want the yoshi one, brand new in the box in mint condition... but it's getting up there... bowser one sealed may be quite rare too I believe... I had a hunch I should of purchased them during release and I just never got around to it...
Those are great tips to display and make the collection stand out a lot. I have a small collection but I have huge trouble with all the dusting, specially with small items (like out-of-box amiibo and figurines) and the consoles get a lot of dust in the vents and openings. How do you deal with the dust and all the periodic cleaning?
I use cable guy controller holder to display my xbox one ps4 and switch controllers that look amazing I don't have boxes on display as I do not have the room at the moment
I dont know if anyone else uses these but you know that stand that came with the wii u i use that to display ds's and stuff,or I use cable guys ,the character themed controller holder things :)
@@suppengroove Yeah but i meant for those days when its sunny and I'd have my curtains open haha!! Wouldn't other people get that too who collect boxes and have things that could get sun damaged?

This is a cool video, I'm planning to start some sort of game room area when I move out and get a house. I take these tips into account when I'm thinking about what I want it to look like and what I'll do just when I start out.
Absolutely love seeing your collection as always, I do plan on investing in some Rose colored gaming stands. Thanks for sharing is always and have a great day my friend 🤘🏻😜
I think displaying stuff behind a clear glass door is a lot better like you can modify your shelves to have a glass door that slides open and also it’s a great thing because then they don’t have to fall on the floor if pushed by accident and it’s also a great way to prevent stuff from getting dusty because dust tend to ruin technology and also overall a better way to display something and not to worry about it getting knocked down or anything
I'd probably add to not forget to take out the batteries from your wiimotes. Accidentally left one in mine and got battery acid all over. (Just a common white one at least)
What do you use for protectors for your Pokémon games? Also do you use protectors for Wii and GameCube games? Or is it just the cardboard boxes? Also, how often do you clean the room? I bet that gets to be a pain lol
For me, I have a handful of gba games, wii games, ds games, a gamecube, a ds lite, and a 3ds along with a wii, and a switch with 10 or so physical games. Soon to maybe buy a gba player and gba sp. Also a few pokemon plushes and a few in box amiibo. Gamecube games are do expensive. I might just buy super mario sunshine and super monkey ball, because they are relatively cheap compared to other gsmecube games. I love nintendo. Collecting is really expensive.
Do you have a separate set of consoles to play the games or some of this consoles are connected somehow to a hub? I always hear you say "I'm playing this and that game" but don't know if you just use some consoles you don't care using.
hey so do you remember that video you made last month for the super Mario 35 an well you forgot one game for the Gameboy it's called alleyway and the person who is in the paddle well thats Mario
After seeing this I can't ever trade in a nintendo system, I'm a go back and get my favorite nintendo systems of all time and will pick up 2 of each. Got to start with the super Nintendo then Game Cube after that the 64 all the systems I had in my child hood. I know that the children in your family love coming over to your house.
Hey Lithium. The Mario telephone that I shipped got lost during shipment. It might be there late. Also, I remember in one of your videos you were telling us you had plans for discord servers. If you’d like, I can help you with the server. I’ve made a bunch of discord servers and made the great. So I’d you would like me to help make it, please let me know :)
the only reasn i stick to a small collection is so i can have the face displays. i cant stand games being stored like books, thats a waste of fine art. some of those boxes are so fun to look at. i'd say the same for cartridges but ya cant see beyond 2 feet anyway. hey lithium what do u do for polishing or air pollution? air filters or just leave it alone?
I have big Nintendo collection, but dude when i see yours i get demotivated to collect, I'm missing so much items that i will never able to get them because of high prices... And you remind me of that every time i watch your collection lol
How do you display your items? Not everyone has a lot of space to show off what they have, so I would love to know about your creative display ideas
I have (outdated) videos on my channel of how i display my figures if you wanna see it!!
Still working on that
Just on an shelf.
What is a good source for reproduction signs for NES, SNES, N64 or just Nintendo?
Building a new home and need signage for game room

Love the video! The beginning part of you showing your room makes me want to see the 2020 Nintendo room tour, can’t wait for that to come out!

But what about sun damage to your boxes if you showed them right at the front? That would be a problem right?
I don't have any windows for light to come in, but you make a good point

For me it’s harder to display because 90% of my collection is sealed. I’m getting them graded soon so guess I’ll have to do a creative shelf
i expected a full segment about rose colored gaming :D

Your collection is insane. I hope you have everything insured. I have never seen so much Nintendo stuff.

What are you using to display your NES/SNES Game facing out like that in the staircase array? nail polish displays?
All of the staircase tiered displays I made myself using pine wood
@@NintendoCollecting I just found your video talking about how you displayed them, thanks for the reply!
Any tips for displaying Amiibo?
I prefer light colored shelves black is cool but it just shows so much dust and the lighter ones hide it
How do i get the new game and watch has it been for sale yet ?
hey so do you remember that video you made last month for the super Mario 35 an well you forgot one game for the Gameboy it's called alleyway and the person who is in the paddle well thats Mario

Anything made by Nintendo, Muramasa, Little King's Story, No More Heroes, Zack & Wiki, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, Xenoblade Chronicles

Hey Lithium, how do you deal with dust.
It's a constant issue. Basically I recommend dusting a few shelves each month

Great collection. Love it. But how do u deal with dust? What do u do keep everything so clean?
holy crap how much did you spend on this collection it is incredible
@ Nintendo collecting wow dude I like all the Nintendo consoles and all the mario games you own that is wicked
This guy should collect homebrew/cheats for nintendo consoles also, like Game Genie or Action Replay, or even the old Homebrew Channel disc.
True
Great video and obviously awesome collection. How do you deal with the dust issue? I've always kept my stuff in cabinets with glass doors.
Where do you get those plastic stands from??
Rose Colored Gaming
Amazing!!!
I saw those Mario Wii Remotes and got very upset when the yellow was Bowser and not Daisy.
Nice video
Nintendo Collecting do you know a good n64 game I can get on a budget of like 20$?
If you don’t mind them not being authentic, you can get reproductions of games like Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 64 on eBay for around that price
Golden eye authentic is like 25-30 bucks

I swear you can read my mind i just asked myself how to display my new Gamecube controllers yesterday!
edit: spelling
I don’t display my consoles; I play video games on them.
Im waiting for Lithium to make a video on Mario Kart Live Home Circuit. Anyone else?
I bet its a nightmare dusting that room.
My tip is to buy a console with as many LEDs in it as possible
I got sick of dusting everything, so I ended up putting everything in big rubbermaid containers
