Good day! I am hoping that you are still actively participating as I have finally found someone who does it right and not always at light speed! :-) I absolutely love lighthouses and you have another video which is labeled part 2 but have been unable to find part 1 thought it might be because one of my cats or grandsons have decided to play hide and seek with my glasses case. I have been retired a few years and only recently began drawing again when my wife gave me an iPad Pro which I now use for my canvas. I realize there are utilities to transform pictures into drawings but I love to draw and features of the drawing pencil, the iPad and Sketchbook correct the meanderings of my hands that had originally forced me to give up drawing. Seeing your video has truly been an inspiration to truly get started again and I simply wanted to say thank you! Respectfully, Richard Morgan
+Joe Maysky no prob ;) thanks for understanding! haha, I feel like lots of people think i have all day to work on these videos, like a robot or something ;)
I have a question? I was subscribed to pinsetter a while ago, but then I got busy with life and somehow it unsubscribed, and I wondered where pinsetter went?
I love your art the best! You are a great teacher, Why you don't have more subbies is beyond me! I have seen your work , and it makes me want to do better in my own artwork .
Wow do you sound different, lol :D It's great to finally see another video from you again. Charcoal drawing is my favorite art medium and I really missed you tutorials. Thank you!!!
thats awesome man, glad i could help :). im gonna be uploading more landscape tutorials soon, an owl tutorial is coming first though. let me know if you want me to draw something specific and ill see what i can do!
I've had some trouble in winter landscapes mostly just making the snow look like snow. Any tips would help. I know probably sounds lame but it's the one thing I can't quite master.
Andrew, and anyone else for that matter, is your desk on a carpet floor or hard floor? Do you ever have issues with charcoal getting on the floor? Any tips? I never had to worry about it in art class, but it's different here at home...
+Daniel Watkins my desk is on carpet, but so far i haven't had issues with getting charcoal on the carpet. I try to vacuum around my desk as often as possible. sometimes it gets on my walls if i touch them by accident, but i can usually erase it off haha.
