I am getting really tired to see every time female friendship or male camaraderie seen as something with a homosexual undertone. It's extremely toxic. Not because there is anything wrong in being gay - it's not. But because it undermine the value of friendship. This is especially toxic toward young men, because it can communicate them that opening toward a friend is somewhat something you do only if you like boys.
@@Kaiyanwang82 Thats one way of looking at it. I just dismiss those comments as thirsty kids being thirsty, doesn't matter if its a gay or straight scene, or even sadder they never had real friends and think any friendship has to grow into physical intimacy cause they don't know the difference between friendship and "something more".
My favorite intro to my all-time favorite Daria episode
I love Jane’s outfit.
where do you get that video?
Are they gay?
Nah, just friends.
If we want.

What? No! They're straight! Jane is married to me and Daria had a crush on Jane's brother and dated a few guys.
