Personally the pair are two of my favorite parents on TV even with Jake played comic relief so often. They obviously care so much and at least try no matter how much they fail sometimes.

High School wasn’t like this for me… it was just a place you went to at 7am, and had to be at from 7am - 2pm. Then you had homework to do at home. Then again, I went to a high school with 600 total students in a small town. I was also the “token” black girl… despite being a biracial hispanic Dominican girl that looks more Hispanic than Black, so I never got to assimilate. Didn’t help either that I was weird.
