Not a fast train but really smooth pick up and slow. A guess would be 80% line speed max. With only one stop for single track and a slow order for trackside construction. Ultimate passenger comfort. Well done driver.
Another great ride with the Railjet ! I took IR13 from Chur to Zürich in late October and it was a very nice ride in the Rhine valley. Very flat indeed
When the train went to the east (the left, when driving) north of Sargans, I didn't understand at first, because Zürich is to the west. Sargans is a wedge-formed station where the line from Buchs meets the main line from Zürich to Chur. The train has to take a rather larger loop to the east to get to Sargans station, and then on to Zürich. Going straight on to Sargans (as the local trains do) would mean changing the direction of the train in Sargans (i.e. switch the locomotive from one end to the other).

Wow, the landscapes are absolutely breathtaking! The views from the ÖBB Railjet make it feel like a moving postcard. Were there any specific spots along the ride that stood out to you as a must-see for travellers? ✌

The fluctuations of focus are all too evident in this otherwise good video. Automatic focus on a camera cannot cope with motion. especially at speed. You have to set focus at infinity to avoid the problem. The audio however is good.
Not so happy with this video as compared to your other work. The clunking from the (outside) coupler (?) and the noises from the various bits of machinery inside the cab were very distracting, and made a great contrast to your usually excellent videos.
I am glad to hear you usually enjoy our videos. However I cannot change the fact that some vehicles do squeak or rattle more than others. It's part of the job and therefore part of the experience that the viewer gets.
