Now that the video finally reached it's original host, I'm going to do a small summary of what I said previously:
1) Absolute thanks to Max for actually liking this video enough for putting it on his channel.
2) With the exception of the Super Best Friends tribute I did days ago, this is pretty much for me at least for the year. Next year I expect to return with a full revamp on my channel.
3) As long as the idea is funny enough, then I have no problems on doing another one. But that might take months.
4) And before you ask, YES. THIS IS A JOJO REFERENCE!!!

To be fair, these days we're most often provided a "Tutorial Mode" instead... which made me realize, just a couple of days ago, that Under Night In-Birth may not be as great as I like to give it credit for. 'Cuz, while it's fun, it says something about a fighting game when you have to replay certain key segments of the tutorial mode every time you take the game back out after a couple of months of not having played it, just to remember some of the core mechanics that made the game so fun to play to begin with.
I mean, UNIB is the game everyone pretends BlazBlue is, which is "Meter Porn: The Video Game" And it is still super fun despite that, so I think we can give it some slack.
@@GrahamChapman Well, my late but great Monty Python friend, I'd wager that if the fun gained by reviewing the tutorial is greater than the fun gained by jumping into a simpler game and playing from scratch, then it's worth it. At the very least, effort should be proportional to fun starting from mid-level skill up, IMHO; below that, it's important for the fun factor to outdo the effort factor, otherwise not many people will get into the game in the first place.
@@AntanovOCEFGC Well, I'm not saying UNIB _isn't_ fun, it's great once you've gotten into it again, but it has a bit too many quirky functions and gimmicks, so many of them, in fact, that a few of them are no longer intuitive... Between UNIB and BB, I end up prefering BB, quite simply because there's not a single function that isn't intuitive once you've learned to use it... sure is a pity then that BB is a bit too much into the fanservice... would it really have been too much to ask for that the female characters got to keep their dignity, Mori? Or, to paraquote Daisuke Ishiwatari: "Armor is supposed to be a protective piece of equipment, right? Well, what exactly is [Mu-12's armor] protecting?"
@@Scientist93 M'eah, that's kinda my point: If given the option to either play Under Night In-Birth or BlazBlue, then odds are I'll pick BlazBlue, quite simply because I don't have to go through any tedious tutorials to remind myself of how to do fairly basic stuff when I'm playing BB, but when it comes to UNIB, I kinda have to do that... and it's really not fun... kinda spoils the first hour or something like that of a time that's supposed to just be pure enjoyment. :/

We were gas-lighted into believing this game was trash when it had one of the most enjoyable gameplay ever... It had a freaking 4v4 option which meant everyone could have a go at the same time! AT THE SAME TIME!!!

EX3 is the most slept on game in the franchise, even though it's actually one of the best ones!
I didn't care much for their stories, but the combat was solid enough. Plus, the arcade mode end credit sequence was always fun (seeing how many grunt fighters you can decimate with a meteor finisher repeatedly to the point that they can't spawn fast enough and the game's frame rate drops was cathartic)

I came out of Nier Automata thinking it was eh. I watched my friend play through half of it and he convinced me to replay it. I now love the game to death. I was the same with Metal Gear Rising. Played the demo and thought it wasn't for me (I was heavily into Ninja Gaiden at the time). Then I watched my brother play and after he beat Armstrong I was like "why the hell did I pass over this?!" I went and bought my own copy immediately the next day. 🤣

EX 3 was the street fighter I played most as a kid behind alpha 3 and it was a nostalgia trip seeing this again. When 4 was announced I was super hyped so see a similar and what appeared to be a more refined art style from the ps2 era
