With respect to Matt I find it incredible that people don't understand the definition of nothing. Nothing is a concept that doesn't and cannot exist.

To brother Stephen, may Allah accept your renewal of faith. Regarding your doubts about Khidr and the killing of the boy. His parents were righteous and loved him. However the boy was destined to be a disbeliever when he became an adult and would effect the eeman of his parents. He would be a burden had he become an adult. By Khidr taking out the child, it has many wisdoms and mercy not only for the parent but potentially for the killed child as well. The child was killed so another child who's destiny was piety would come in his place, so the fruits of the parents' labour was achieved. There may also be mercy for the killed child since if he became an adult and a disbeliever, he would end up in hell. However by dying at such a young age, his innocence may be preserved and would may end up in jannah despite being destined to be a disbeliever as an adult. Allahualim. The evidence for this is from the hadeeth of Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw the children of the Muslims and the children of the disbelievers with Ibraaheem (peace be upon him). Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6640.
This is why it is said in Surah Kahf verse 81:
"So we intended that their Lord should exchange him for them for one better in righteousness and nearer to mercy.''

Historically it makes more sense that monotheism is rooted in all historical religions - as revealed for those particular people. This is why I believe in Islam totally aswell. The Jewish concept of exclusivity is totally baseless.
@L BB You can’t verify what the oldest religion is. The oldest religion we know of is Hinduism and that’s only 4000 years old. Also, the Qur’an doesn’t state judaism specifically is the first religion of God but the monotheism preached by Adam.

Quantum particles don't pop out of absolutely nothing. A vacuum in space is not truly empty. The very fabric of space has energy. These particles borrow this energy to come into existence then return it when they disappear.
We can't even get to a thermal temperature of 0 Kelvin in our universe. The coldest temperature in our universe was artificially created by a team in Germany but it's impossible for us to get to 0 Kelvin as that would require an infinite amount of energy to do.
So since we can't get to absolutely nothing in the first place, how are Atheists saying particles can come from nothing.
Because they want to build their fantasy of this world coming from nothing. But unfortunately for them, it would take into account the consistency that we have here on earth. If things just popped out of nothing, science would be nigh impossible to exists. We wouldn't even be able to have similar DNA.

To add to Hijab response on Quran recitation to JP, non-Muslims don't understand that, unlike the bible or other any religion holy book, the translation of the Quran is not Quran. it is merely a human interpretation of the meanings, and cannot be called verses of the Quran. Quran exists solely in Arabic. That is why it is relevant to recite verses is Arabic before giving the translation. Unfortunately brothers overlook this distinction and never make this distinction clear to their non-Arabic speaking audience when they recite verses of Quran.
Tbh when it comes to other books they don’t really have a confirmation that the translation has the same weight as the original most just accept it

The Quran is WHAT is RECITED or The RECITAL. WHATEVER that is REVEALED becomes CREATED. So the Quran is NOT CREATED until it reaches the stage of being written or Recited or Communicated in any form such as computer generated. Because we can only relate to that which is CREATED. That could be in any Form whether we see it or NOT such as radio waves or light waves or sound waves or any particle wave or non particle wave. So all Languages are Created. It's just that since the Quran was revealed in Arabic and the eloquence can not be equaled in any other Language. Just as if it was revealed in Chinese it would not be equaled in another Language. YOU shouldn't be prejudiced to a Language because you are alien to it.

Its Because he doesn't want to believe in God. Existence itself is proof that God exists, there is no need to look for it. What he should be doing is finding if God has contact with us.
Many scholars of Islam actually posit the position that the Children of Israel were the chosen people because they were told so explicitly about the coming of the Prophet Muhammad! Jewish immigration to the Arabian peninsula in the centuries leading up to the Prophet's emergence is historical fact. As is his myriad discussions with the Jews of Madina and peace and blessings upon our beloved habib.

jews take the word "chosen" totally different. Arabs could claim they are the true chosen because they are the ones who actually received the final and the protected message for eternity.

Prophet Muhammad was sent to all mankind, not just the Arabs - 'and we sent you primarily to be a mercy to the world(s)'. Arabs are not exceptional, for 'indeed the best of you are the most pious (of you)'. While Arabs are not exceptional, they are indeed very lucky to receive the Quran in their native tongue. 'they disbelieve and kill the Prophets?', if you don't like the theory that they were told about the Prophet and that's what made them exceptional then what about the theory that they didn't listen and committed atrocities against Allah and the Prophets, and so that's why they needed so many sent to them? Maybe that's why they're exceptional - because they were graced by many Prophets, messengers, signs, miracles and scripture? Do you like what they did to Musa or Jesus peace be upon them? Also I get my claim from a lot of sunni Islamic scholars actually across the Arab world. I'm not doing your research for you.
