If Cavs Lose according the Bronsexuals: Well, Of course they lost, they were up against the most dominant team in pro sports to ever play.
If the Cavs Win according the Bronsexuas: The GOAT, no question about it now.....SMH

the only reason i'm rooting for lebron and the cavs in this trilogy is because without him, the cavs lose, bad. everywhere, every time. the load he carries is immense. and the same was true even when he was in miami. without lebron, wade and bosh would not be able to contend. whereas if KD has an off night, or doesn't play, the warriors are still the best team in the league, favorites to win the chip. i don't care if you can pull up from half-court and drop 50 in your sleep. if you go to a team where at least two other dudes can do the same thing, you are consciously running away from adversity.

Why is it that when someone defends Lebron they are immediately a Bronsexual? Look, I agree that sometimes Nick and Colin have thin arguments about Lebron but they only constantly have Lebron as a topic of discussion because most of us enjoy the debate. Also, in this specific video, Nick makes some very compelling arguments. The main issue I've always had w/ the MJ vs Lebron debate is that you get a lot of revisionist history w/ MJ arguments. People never remember or even consider that MJ had bad quarters, halves and games. Especially in the playoffs. And they also make a good point that when Lebron isn't feeling it, he's not going to try and shoot himself out of it, he's just going to keep moving the ball and defer which isn't exactly a bad thing.

Michael Pun - My problem with these quote unquote "Bronsexuals" is their nature. They refuse to be even a little bit objective. Guys like LeShannon, LeNick, and LeColin will change/alter their point and create new narratives to talk about LeBron. It's just plain sick. The best way to put the BALL THRU THE HOOP is NOT Posting up, waiting for a double team, then kicking it out to an open shooter.
The best way to score is to go into a "Swing swing" type of action which is SPARKED by a player driving to the basket with GOD GIVEN passing skills like Magic and/or Lebron. But Bron is also a good finisher which makes the opposing coaches scratch their heads trying to decided whether they either just let Lebron get his 34+ points OR let his teammates beat them.

5. The Dallas Maverick's Coaching staff NEVER did get the Credit that they are due for containing Lebron in that infamous "8 point" finals game and the whole series in general. Just like Craig Ehlo, John Starks, Reggie Miller, Jeff Hornacek, Bryon Russel and all of the 90's NBA Athlete's that defended MJ got TOO MUCH (The "Handcheck"is WAAAY to overrated. Well I would like to add that the ROAD TO THE FINALS is AS important as the finals itself. I would like to talk about that first - before getting to finals.
Jordan had some serious battles with Knicks, Pacers year in and year out (Ewing, Miller, Jackson, Oakley). Bulls had true rivals the entire 90s against hall of fame players.
And all the Hall of Famers were in the same age range as Jordan. Bulls swept a 60 win team with Shaq and Penny AFTER Jordan missed the previous 1.5 years to baseball. Jordan was 33! How many people lose their skills with such a long break?
Lebron has not been tested in the east since he joined the Heat. He left to join the Heat because he could not get past the Celtics. Then Pierce and KG got old (36+) and moved on, and Lebron has had 3 allstars on his team since and did not look back. No other team in the east has more than 1 allstar, except for Lowry and Derozan. Lebron has 3 Allstars and Warriors have 4. There is a reason those teams keep on advancing. They are stacked and no one else is. Lebron will come out the east till he retires as a result - unless another teams matches the 3 allstars.

In Jordans era, there were not really 3 allstars on any given team. Two was the minimum. Competition level was very evenly balanced across the board in 90s. Players wanted to beat the best, not join them. That is not the same anymore.
So when people say Jordan did not face the same level of competition in the finals as Lebron, they need to compare APPLES to APPLES.
It was only Jordan and Pippen as allstars against 2 other allstars usually on the opposing team in finals- Magic/Worthy, Drexler/Duckworth, Barkley/Majarle, Payton/Kemp, Malone/Stockton.
When Rodman joined the Bulls, he was 34 years old and not an allstar. Bosh and Love are double double players in their prime when with Lebron.
When Lakers and Celts kept getting to finals in 70s, it was because no one else had as many allstars. The same is true today with Warriors and Cavs.

Now when Bulls finally passed the Pistons, people also say that Pistons just got old. How true is this?
FACTCHECK- Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars and Dennis Rodman were 31 and UNDER and allstars in 1991 and continued to be allstars the next several years! Laimbeer was still there also and 34 (the same age Rodman was in Jordans second 3-peat). That Pistons team was still very solid. It just so happened Jordan took his game to a level no one can touch in 90s.

I won't cover all the finals but feel free to compare finals rosters with the bulls rosters. In 1998, when Bulls went to the finals, not only was the ROAD TO THE FINALS rough again in the east with proven hall of fame players, but the finals opponent Jazz were very very good. How good? Jazz got to finals after they beat the Rockets with Hakeem and Barkley, Spurs with Duncan and Robinson and then beat the Lakers who had 4 allstars in Shaq, Kobe, Excel and Jones in their prime!
In Finals - Jazz had 2 allstars in Malone and Stockton to Bulls allstars with Jordan and Pippen. Jazz had an HOF coach just like the Bulls.
So we need to compare apples to apples. Most people forget what happened in the 90s and live in the moment.
Warrios last year had 3 allstars, to the Cavs 3 allstars. So that was EVENLY matched.
This is why when researched carefully, one can see why Jordan is the GOAT.
The 90s NBA was the most competetive era of basketball, contained the top big men in history, and oh yea, handchecking was allowed! :)

He has every right to leave OKC, but there are 2 teams he could not have gone to, the warriors and cavs, he had 28 teams to choose from and still be respected and still compete for a championship and he couldn't even do that. Instead He chose a 73 win team that went to back to back finals without him

Jordan is the bar, and since he's been gone, I'll admit that LeBron is the closest over a career, but 2 me, there were 3 guys who mirrored Jordans ability, Kobe was the closest overall, Wade 06' championship run with Shaq was Jordanesque, and Tracy Macgrady who never had the right pieces around him for us to really see T-Mac's full potential.
