I stopped playing when the solstice event of the Season of the Splicer started and only had started playing the season before. I stopped playing because if you arent interested in doing PvP over and over again there is nothing to do for you. Sure you can repeat the same few Nightfalls/Strikes, or do some Gambit, but other than raids there is nothing to do. I explored every location, did every lost sector and collected every regional chest in 1 and a half seasons worth of time. I could grind out weapons that I never will use. I could get my ass kicked in Crucible by people using the same loadout everyone else uses. But why should I? If none of these things actually are any fun, arent engaging, or are luck based what incentive to I have to play the game? A new DLC? New players will see the 'limited' content and not like it, old players returning back will see how much they just got taken away from them. Sure I can understand that Bungie does not wish to have too many servers running so they reduced the amount of locations needing to be loaded, but just make it so people can still go there solo. Even the base campaigne was cut while they leave the whole Forsaken stuff in that has been sunset, whoy didnt they do the same for the Red War? I stopped playing when the solstice event of the Season of the Splicer started and only had started playing the season before. I stopped playing because if you arent interested in doing PvP over and over again there is nothing to do for you. Sure you can repeat the same few Nightfalls/Strikes, or do some Gambit, but other than raids there is nothing to do. I explored every location, did every lost sector and collected every regional chest in 1 and a half seasons worth of time. I could grind out weapons that I never will use. I could perfect my loadout only to see it nerfed into the ground like they did with Pheonix Protocol already. I could get my ass kicked in Crucible by people using the same loadout everyone else uses. But why should I? If none of these things actually are any fun, arent engaging, or are luck based what incentive to I have to play the game? A new DLC? Wow a whole new planet making us still have less than before they moved everything into the content vault. A new season? Well I get one new gamemode that gets boring after playing it 4 times AND I have to pay to get the season pass to actually play it.
I was smiling for so long
No, Escalation Protocol, don't leave me!
