I think I joined sky at the odd time between the season of performance and shattering, but I will always feel my first season seen through will always be Aurora.
Shattering is single-handedly the best season. Apart from whatever little lore it has, IT LITERALLY LETS YOU DRESS UP AS KRILLS AND MANTAS AND DARKNESS PLANT AND JELLYFISH AND BABY MANTA. Those creatures/plants are literally the life of Sky. Also it's the second most WL abundant season (after Sanctuary). AND ALSO It's the only season to introduce a truly game changing mechanic into the game by letting us gain Ascended Candles from a source other than Eden. Objectively, Season of Shattering in a class of its own, much higher than any other season. No Season has ever felt so fulfilling, and I doubt it ever will.
No one was playing in the season of assembly cuz everyone had server errors and i was one of those and it made me quit for more than i year i literally got scammed from my money and the bug lasted for more than a month...
fun fact season of assembly was the first season to introduce furniture (minus the tables n stuff..) and shared spaces!! i remember people being hyped bc it was the closest we had to our own sky houses lol
The Assembly quests exasperated me to tears. The Treehouse is a really nice place but my god, the quests were designed so poorly Also, I was so happy when Moomin ended. It was probably Sky's worst season lol
@@anamelessuseroridkI didn’t get the season pass but i’m a little surprised to see the backlash against season of moomin. I thought people were gonna like it so could you tell me why you didn’t?
as a true oldhead i always have to glaze enchantment. im sure its very different for new players now but when they announced it would be on a separate new map the hype was unmatched people found how to glitch into the map a week before, and the glitched mushrooms that would give you an entire candle spawned below the map until they were removed Not to mention prior to the quests unlocking the shop/market in the ark there really wasnt a reliable and consistent way to buy specific spells unlike now with aviary shops being more convenient
The Season of Assembly is a pain to get through.. :( I try to help when I see people honking with my Alt account.. so then only one person is needed out of the kindness of their heart..
funfact to deer, the krill wasnt supposed to take away winged light that was an error later fixed. Also it was originally only released to the server in china later then put world wide
I joined sky during the end of the season of assembly and I thought the season area was a cool hangout place, (I thought the seasonal candles were ascended candles) The season of the little prince was the first season I got serious with and it was honestly my favourite.
btw the glide toggle didn't exist like it is now during prophecy. Instead it was a button which you could press. But even if you didnt, after while of open-wing flight it would just switch to glide automatically. You would aim for a platform in open flight or simply jump only for glide to activate and fuck everything up. Especially at the last sector. The very last checkpoint didn't even exist at first 😭 Even just thinking about it makes me shudder.
My first season in Sky was Enchantment, and since then I’ve purchased every seasonal pass - good or bad - right up until the season of Moomin. I totally agree when you mentioned that Shattering was bad. It introduced shard events, but at that time they were incredibly frustrating, bugged, and nearly unplayable. I liked the lore drops, but honestly, I was expecting a bit more. Only the cosmetics were the best thing about that season. Aurora, in my opinion, is still my favourite. The quests and cosmetics were good, but the transformation of the coliseum and the execution of a virtual live concert with thousands of players was an outstanding and emotionally touching experience. Like I said before, Moomin was the first season where I didn’t purchase the pass. To me, the cosmetics were not worth it, and it felt like it was too soon to have another seasonal collaboration after Nine-Colored Deer (not including the Cinamoroll and Alice in Wonderland collabs). I’m not saying collabs aren’t fun, but I do want to see more Sky-related seasons with more intriguing stories and lore. (Sorry for the long post)
thank you so much for entertaining me ever since u began playing this game. in case u didnt know, aurora has already worked with them as the singer behind the intro and end credit of the game. also season of aurora is literally the lore but with song montage, or smth like that 🤣
I’m a Season of Remembrance moth and it took me FOREVER to complete all the Season of Assembly quests. When going through Hidden Forest I always look to see if people need help with any of those quests cause I know how difficult it can be. 😑
Surprised by the hate for Flight and Shattering.... loved those seasons. Your description of Abyss and Remembrance had me cackling though lmao. "It's depression" - WHELP.
in the moomin 90s show there’s literally a line between moominpappa and an officer guy going: -im moominpappa and im the owner of this house! - no you’re not, you’re a hippopotamus! - how dare you i find this funny
Started playing at Enchantment and I garantee that season of Dream to season of Flight including Assembly and Little Prince was the absolute golden age of Sky, then nothing could top that until season of Aurora reached that level afterwards
Ah yes, the little prince season will be forever my favorite and the one i remember the most. I got all the things from that season,my wallet didn’t thank me tho 😂 the little prince cape is one of my favorites, because it sends u to a cinematic adventure and u can hang out with friends over there.😊 Very cinematic and beautiful scenes, I’ve played other seasons but nothing tops the little prince season.
I remember when the sword pants were the most candles-expensive thing we’ve ever seen and the Juggler pants came back AT THE SAME TIME so most of us had to make a choice about what to get and only the most dedicated could get both 😭 that was wild times
About the Little Prince... The starlight desert is very pretty. But it also feels pretty out of place to me with those giant props scattered in it, compared to the rest of the astatic of the world of Sky. Because this place is physically connected to the rest of Sky via the Wind Paths and you can see Eden from it and shards are landing in it, unlike other additions/collaboration worlds like the Deer or Moomin and Alice that can be explained as dreams or recorded memories from the vault's archives. No, the starlight desert is a place the ancients were able to go to. For what purpose did the ancients need these very specific props in it? Just so that this one little prince child can go "you adults are all weird" in it? Is it a theme park that went bankrupt in their days? What is this place?! They could have put an actual (ruined) town there and nothing would have changed, besides it making more sense, since it is inspired/an interpretation of the original material anyways. Maybe it could have been the town of the refugee spirits from the seasons of remembrance, and then everyone could have been like "Oh my god, I remember that place from that ruin in the starlight desert!". That would have been cool... But no. ... And how can the little prince even die at Eden, if he's already a spirit?! I wonder if the fallen shard that smashed the duet duo's stuff was from the initial shattering of Eden, or if it was a random shard some time after it already happened like we get to see now. I would really like to know how the darkness plants and creatures found their way into the world of Sky. I think it has to do with Eden, since the light creatures seem to be the normal. I'm not sure what to think about the crabs, if they are creatures of darkness or not. There are "nice" crabs that can be found, so darkness doesn't have to be their initial element I think. So, were they corrupted by the darkness? Or maybe the ones in the cooking bowl got converted to light? Idk, they don't have the darkness particle effect going on, as it is usual for darkness spawn.
7:53 it was interesting, because shard quests were introduced in that season. So it was cool to play the season while it was active, but i can see how the season would be boring now lol
I play for cosmetics not really the stories tho i do like the lore if that even makes sense. Anyway my point is i like shattering cause the cosmetics were 🔥🔥
Id like to mention the Ultime Reward Cutscenes before enchantment. I began playing sky at Gratitude, but i didntget my first season pass until season of Rhyhtm. So i cant speak for the first three (but im pretty sure they did aswell) but there was a cutscene you could watch after getting every single item (so you had to have the season pass). In the season of rhythm one, the spirits all get on a manta/bird looking creature of light and they ride off into the sky. If i remember correctly, the actual rhythm guide was not on the manta thing themselves, so back then a fan theory of the rhythm guide being able to transform into that manta bird was formed.
i remembering i made friends in this game about a year or so ago and they were the ones to tell me i was a veteran after me saying "yeah i think my first season was the season of gratitude" instead of just putting the peices together in my head that ive been playing this game for 5 years, since i was 14, when we were still on lockdown due to the coronavirus and yes im still trying to complete the quest for season of assembly as well cause i was lonely asf during that season💀
i started at around the season of moments, though my acocunts been active all the way back to the season of aurora. my first ever proper season i invested my time in was the season of duets though. the season of moomin being my first 100% collected season.
I’m realizing as an Echnatment moth (sort of) I made an account, played the game for a little bit and then immediately ignored the game for months because I completely missed Season of Sanctuary but was there for all of prophecy and dreams
Haha this was entertaining. I was just a duets moth, glad to have gotten a taste of that one! But seems like the others would have been cool when they were new too if id gotten off my butt and started this game sooner lmao
Dear LAWD did I just realized.. I was playing in the VERY dang beginning. I played, this dumb (but very cool game) before the Season of Enchantment. and I'm still poor as hell-
Right here 🙋🏻♀️. We are olddd lol. But personally after all the seasons I still love enchantment season the best. Prolly nostalgia but also I love forgotten ark and how the area was kind of brought to life. Still love chillin out over there! ^^
I dunno, I enjoyed the background lore of everything. Sky is literally all about silent storytelling, and while some tasks may be more exciting than others to a few, most feel rewarding in their own right at the end for a job well done. The gift is the emotion each brings.
I unfortunately wasn't around for season of The Little Prince but my god... When I played that season I loved it with everything in me- yk wallpaper the normal: ended up watching the film over and over, bought the book, wallpaper was the Little Prince, listened to the music, moped about being too late for cosmetics.
yeah didnt they change it twice during/ before the season? first it was the floating one with clouds all around, then an ice rink with little tunnels at the sides? (that was only for a very short time if i remember correctly) and then the version now
3:00 I did the last one when one of the daily quests required people to do the spirit nearby. I would also deliberately lose all my light to the rain to lure people in for the others lol
The seasons have been getting mid recently. Whatever happens to seasons like trials or remembrance that actually touches you deep in the soul? It just seems like it's been going down hill
Season of the little prince.. for starters.. that book.. oh my god.. that season was breathtaking.. the realm they made for that season is absolutely otherworldly insane.. season of abyss was really cool.. I like the underwater “bad guys” and the story line there.. being able to swim and all the gear was super fun! Season of flight was cool for the gear.. I’m an old school sky vet.. I’ve been playing for yeaaars.. season of shattering world and visual and gear was insane.. I think some of the challenges have become lame.. look at challenges now compared to the trials.. the trials almost made me ruin my phone because I seriously wanted to throw it.. season of passage was super cool.. season of moments was breathtaking.. I come in and out of the game now.. I feel like the reason it started has strayed.. it was about wonder and community and having fun.. and vibing.. I feel like it’s become cosmetics and candle run obsessed.. which I love the gear but I’m not going to kill myself for it either.. I still love how this game is great for kids.. and adults.. anybody can play and it’s still super fun.. I wish they developed the lore of the children more.. I’d like more backstory of how we got it this place.. I still love that there is such a Buddhist vibe.. and the temples of each stage and the elder god spirits.. the dark side of the Moomin.. that was like scary movie fucked up creepy.. they went total dark side of the moon on that one.. I just made this really cool post with music attached.. I’d love to see them do something inspired by that.. but they get bombarded by player ideas I’m sure.. I did music from gorillaz and their humanz album.. the don’t get lost in heaven song.. all three parts and photos of all these badass skydivers.. and it would be cool to see our sky kids have tricks like that while flying.. I don’t think my readers have the first clue what sky is though.. love your take fellow sky kid! 💜😛
Idk how important to the lore this is- but it's implied through a photo on the wall I believe- the nesting guide knew the forest elder. Idk if there was a cutscene about that, haven't played anything from that season since it ended- but I figured I'd mention it as a bonus fun fact or smth lol
As a prophet moth, I actually have severely grown to love the trials. I feel like once you get used to the mechanics they can be fun. I rarely do them tho bc I spent hours trying to do them as a moth xD
Hahaha I've been playing for almost 2 years, I got at least 3~ of the quests from the season of assembly done, but have since given up because I'm a solo player and not enough people are willing to wait around for there to be 4-5 of us to do this one quest... I've given up on that one essentially.
Headache in a can & being blind with monsters 😂 so accurate. I personally really like Moomins but was very disappointed with the season they put out. I'm not even remotely intrigued by the season they're putting out next. And I'm honestly only vaguely interested in the ability to change some colours on the cosmetics we have. Have you already done a video like this for the different evemts? I'd like to see it if you have one or will make one.
2:48 I recently got into the treehouse quest with two friends of mine and I remember that we meet up with another friend of ours and we invited him to to join us to do the quest and he he said: "No I hate this quest! I rather go to the Eden then do that quest again!💀"
when I was a moth I didn't care or really know about the seasons, so I legit have no idea when I joined. I think directly after sanctuary??? either way, it's been fun seeing how TGC has changed the seasons. I understand how they seem to sort of put no effort behind the seasons coming before and after the *big* season of the year, but istg they're trying less and less each time. Kind of disappointing, though their big season of each year continues to get better and impress me!
I'm actually new to Sky, been playing for about 3 weeks, and while I love the game and the seasons it has.... I kinda wish there were more worlds added besides the complete 7 we have. Its an interesting game
I laughed so hard at season of rememberance with it being depression cause it’s true 😂

3 years passed... Nothing changes. Still errors. Every frkn day. TGC literally dont care.
fun fact season of assembly was the first season to introduce furniture (minus the tables n stuff..) and shared spaces!! i remember people being hyped bc it was the closest we had to our own sky houses lol
The Assembly quests exasperated me to tears. The Treehouse is a really nice place but my god, the quests were designed so poorly
Also, I was so happy when Moomin ended. It was probably Sky's worst season lol
tbh so real on moomin, probably cuz im not rlly much familiar w moomin but cmon, ncd did better than that💔
When Moomin ended I was happy as hell bud.
@@anamelessuseroridkI didn’t get the season pass but i’m a little surprised to see the backlash against season of moomin. I thought people were gonna like it so could you tell me why you didn’t?
My fav bit is always when the season ends 😂
As someone whos been watching you since you've started playing sky its just now hit me that you've been playing for nearly a year. LIKE WHAT?!
as a true oldhead i always have to glaze enchantment. im sure its very different for new players now but when they announced it would be on a separate new map the hype was unmatched
people found how to glitch into the map a week before, and the glitched mushrooms that would give you an entire candle spawned below the map until they were removed
Not to mention prior to the quests unlocking the shop/market in the ark there really wasnt a reliable and consistent way to buy specific spells unlike now with aviary shops being more convenient
Season of Nesting, aka the introduction of Skykea
The Season of Assembly is a pain to get through.. :( I try to help when I see people honking with my Alt account.. so then only one person is needed out of the kindness of their heart..
Don't forget the season of 'dye, and that's it'
funfact to deer, the krill wasnt supposed to take away winged light that was an error later fixed. Also it was originally only released to the server in china later then put world wide
Season of moomin= trauma summarised
I joined sky during the end of the season of assembly and I thought the season area was a cool hangout place, (I thought the seasonal candles were ascended candles)
The season of the little prince was the first season I got serious with and it was honestly my favourite.
btw the glide toggle didn't exist like it is now during prophecy. Instead it was a button which you could press. But even if you didnt, after while of open-wing flight it would just switch to glide automatically.
You would aim for a platform in open flight or simply jump only for glide to activate and fuck everything up. Especially at the last sector. The very last checkpoint didn't even exist at first 😭
Even just thinking about it makes me shudder.
I'm so old!!! I remember all these seasons!!!!!!!😢😂
thank you so much for entertaining me ever since u began playing this game. in case u didnt know, aurora has already worked with them as the singer behind the intro and end credit of the game. also season of aurora is literally the lore but with song montage, or smth like that 🤣
I’m a Season of Remembrance moth and it took me FOREVER to complete all the Season of Assembly quests. When going through Hidden Forest I always look to see if people need help with any of those quests cause I know how difficult it can be. 😑
this is one of the best sky videos ive watched lmao that was so good
3:02 I haven't been able to do it for 3 years.
Me neither 😭
@@LadyRozelle@im_here1 if u guys want help, i can send u a friend code and bring a friend!! iirc the most we need for a quest is 4 people
I still Wait for more Three people To Help me in the Tree house 😮💨
Haha true
Can we do it together?
Surprised by the hate for Flight and Shattering.... loved those seasons.
Your description of Abyss and Remembrance had me cackling though lmao. "It's depression" - WHELP.
Petit Prince is so adorable
13:40
its NOT a hippo!! its a MOOMIN!!
Moomin said it himself that people are stupid for thinking hes a hippo
its a MOOMIN!!
in the moomin 90s show there’s literally a line between moominpappa and an officer guy going:
-im moominpappa and im the owner of this house!
- no you’re not, you’re a hippopotamus!
- how dare you
i find this funny
@LeMonEL2023 yeah its the same ep im talkin abt
it's an "explain things poorly" video lmao
@@Silcoonsixx BROOO there was 0 reason for you to ruin my comment!!! 😭🙏
Started playing at Enchantment and I garantee that season of Dream to season of Flight including Assembly and Little Prince was the absolute golden age of Sky, then nothing could top that until season of Aurora reached that level afterwards
The most entertaining video ive
watched in ages, probably cause its all true lmao
@goodsoup7477 dont remind me 🤣 i was like crazy trying to get 200 candles before the season ends 😭 worth it tho
I don't know why this video had me laughing so much. 😆
7:53 it was interesting, because shard quests were introduced in that season. So it was cool to play the season while it was active, but i can see how the season would be boring now lol
All I want to point out is that the two 'guys' you referred to in season of Moomin are actually two girls ! XD
Guys I think he likes the little prince season
I play for cosmetics not really the stories tho i do like the lore if that even makes sense. Anyway my point is i like shattering cause the cosmetics were 🔥🔥
damn so many, i joined at the beginning of rythmn time goes so fast
Id like to mention the Ultime Reward Cutscenes before enchantment. I began playing sky at Gratitude, but i didntget my first season pass until season of Rhyhtm. So i cant speak for the first three (but im pretty sure they did aswell) but there was a cutscene you could watch after getting every single item (so you had to have the season pass).
In the season of rhythm one, the spirits all get on a manta/bird looking creature of light and they ride off into the sky. If i remember correctly, the actual rhythm guide was not on the manta thing themselves, so back then a fan theory of the rhythm guide being able to transform into that manta bird was formed.
i remembering i made friends in this game about a year or so ago and they were the ones to tell me i was a veteran
after me saying "yeah i think my first season was the season of gratitude"
instead of just putting the peices together in my head that ive been playing this game for 5 years, since i was 14, when we were still on lockdown due to the coronavirus
and yes im still trying to complete the quest for season of assembly as well cause i was lonely asf during that season💀
i started at around the season of moments, though my acocunts been active all the way back to the season of aurora. my first ever proper season i invested my time in was the season of duets though. the season of moomin being my first 100% collected season.
I’m realizing as an Echnatment moth (sort of) I made an account, played the game for a little bit and then immediately ignored the game for months because I completely missed Season of Sanctuary but was there for all of prophecy and dreams
3:20
This season introduce furnitures in sky.
Haha this was entertaining. I was just a duets moth, glad to have gotten a taste of that one! But seems like the others would have been cool when they were new too if id gotten off my butt and started this game sooner lmao
6:04 treasure reef is one of my favourite areas, so beautiful and terrifying at the same time
Dear LAWD did I just realized.. I was playing in the VERY dang beginning. I played, this dumb (but very cool game) before the Season of Enchantment. and I'm still poor as hell-
4 years of playing and I still haven't finished that damn assembly quest as well that I completely forgot about its existence.
THE SEASON OF REVIVAL IS SO REAL!!! I love building the new 2024 Toyota Fortuna
was a sanctuary moth, then prophecy happened i swear all it gave me was headache😂
3:00 didn’t realise people struggled with it alot cause I did it during the season where everyone was there to do it too
any enchantment moths here w/ me?🔥🗣️🗣️
Woo
I started Sky on my brothers account some time way before Enchantment but my present account is Enchantment old
Finally another enchantment moth!💜I felt so old reading the other comments😂😵💫
Right here 🙋🏻♀️. We are olddd lol. But personally after all the seasons I still love enchantment season the best. Prolly nostalgia but also I love forgotten ark and how the area was kind of brought to life. Still love chillin out over there! ^^
8:36 Ngl that's one of the best explanations of season of Remenbarance
I dunno, I enjoyed the background lore of everything. Sky is literally all about silent storytelling, and while some tasks may be more exciting than others to a few, most feel rewarding in their own right at the end for a job well done. The gift is the emotion each brings.
I unfortunately wasn't around for season of The Little Prince but my god... When I played that season I loved it with everything in me- yk wallpaper the normal: ended up watching the film over and over, bought the book, wallpaper was the Little Prince, listened to the music, moped about being too late for cosmetics.
As a remembrance moth, the remembrance description was accurate 😭
0:13 broooo those season were so cool!! How dare you skip them😭😭
Not much to say about season of dreams? the season that gave us the biggest change to a pre existing area? That gave us the colosseum floor??
yeah didnt they change it twice during/ before the season? first it was the floating one with clouds all around, then an ice rink with little tunnels at the sides? (that was only for a very short time if i remember correctly) and then the version now
It changed again for the Aurora season @@sarahel6692
This is the far best explanation video ever made, for the seasons in sky lol
Season of assembly actually took me 2 or 3 years to finish
As an assembly kid I’m so glad I did that during the season now lol
Sometimes I will hang out at the treehouse in case anybody needs to do the quests. (Mostly for atmosphere, though.)
As a prophet moth, I actually have severely grown to love the trials. I feel like once you get used to the mechanics they can be fun. I rarely do them tho bc I spent hours trying to do them as a moth xD
This makes me wanna make a poorly explained sky lore video
Little prince's season is so precious 🥺
Hahaha I've been playing for almost 2 years, I got at least 3~ of the quests from the season of assembly done, but have since given up because I'm a solo player and not enough people are willing to wait around for there to be 4-5 of us to do this one quest... I've given up on that one essentially.
If you need help I'll give you a code
But in the night! Got me
I realised I was here for every season except prophecy.... And I love the prophecy cosmetics the most😭😭😭
2:48 I literally only just finished this yesterday and it took about 3 hours of honking rapidly and begging people to help 😂😅
Season of Assembly is an excellent reason why the discord exists. it's not literally why the discord exists, but it might aswell be xD
lolll, I came during prophesy, im retired now, glad to see it is still going
Veteran from enchantment here, and having prophecy as my favorite I can say that shit destroyed me (cough air trial cough)
Dude you are so right that Treehouse Crap sucks!
when I was a moth I didn't care or really know about the seasons, so I legit have no idea when I joined.
Found out I joined during the season that came after Aurora. Infuriating 😭
I did the quest for season of abyss and I LOVED IT LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED IT it WAS SCARY AND GOOD AND FREAKY AND AMAZING I LOVE IT
Literally for Collaborative season like little prince, nine colour deer and moomin: read the god damn book
In the discord sky community if you ask for it, people will join you to complete the assembly quest! :)
I’ve been trying to do that one assembly quest for almost 3 years now 😃
I'm actually new to Sky, been playing for about 3 weeks, and while I love the game and the seasons it has.... I kinda wish there were more worlds added besides the complete 7 we have. Its an interesting game
Shattering is peak cuz it means i can get ascended candles without running eden every week ;-;
13:46 elephant hippo wolves 🤣🤣
