What's up people of Ireland. HELLO THERE! actually her toys are wooden fake eggs I took it 3 weeks ago because she lay eggs every other day and it's too much. So I've been gaving her a cardboard to chew and always asking something clothes material too. So I just gave it back the wooden fake eggs rightnow. And she just so happy. Hahhaha. From Long island New York
LOVE your set up. Your birds are certainly living the good life. I'm still learning about birds. Especially diet and the importance of lots of veggies and a high quality pellet. Sounds like many bird owners make the mistake of serving too many nuts/seeds/fruits to their birds and it eventually has a negative impact on their birds health. "Birdtricks" channel has some great diet plans for health and longevity. Can't wait to own my own parrots someday.

No, Marisa and me making everything by ourselves. It is a lot of work and the last months, I was and bin a lot in the hospital to battle cancer. So Marisas work is even twice as hard! I hope, I can give her back what she all does for me. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️

Hi, thanks for watching our videos 🥰. Every 3-4 weeks. The water bowls and Food bowls every day! Special in the summertime, you have green water bowls within a day! Green algae’s are not so bad, blue algae’s (red color) super bad! On the ground are mostly droppings from seeds and nut shells. All the broken wood you can see on the ground, are toys, I make and there destroy it 🤣🤣🤣🤣. So they have something to do🔨🪚🪛. I have clean outs from all the Aviaries, about 40 Cubic meter per year. This are 5 trucks with the big skip. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️

Hi, excuse me! The Macaw Aviary is 40 meters long, 6.5 meters wide and 3.5 meters high!!! The Food trays and water trays getting cleaned every day! On the ground are food droppings and wood from the toys I build! Do you know somebody who has a bigger Aviary?🤔 Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️. And please think again!
Hi, Nest Boxes are about 100cm x 60cm x 60cm. The Wire from the Mesh has to be at least 2mm in diameter. No luck yet with Baby’s, most of them are still a little young, we had Eggs but nothing happened. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️
Look amazing! I'm planning on building something similar but on a smaller scale and have some questions if you don't mind; What type of wood do you use for the frame of the aviary? And have you secured the poles into the ground or do they just rest on the floor?
Hi, you need treated Lumber 4x6 or 6x6“ , parrots are biting through the wood! You can not effort to loose some birds! Be careful there! Built everything very strong! The best thing, you have a concrete slab, about 15 cm thick. Secure the wood with bolts in to the concrete. Even the mesh, do not go flimsy!!! Parrots can bite through thin meshes! Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️
@@birdwoman.Birdman Ah thanks, i'll be building my aviary for conures so i think it should hold. Great idea about the concrete slab i just so happen to have a whole bunch lying in my garden so that's awesome!
Be careful, a good concrete slab is important, otherwise Rats, Fox, Mink and so, will clean your Aviary in no time. And you don’t want there droppings also. See my Video from Conure Aviary.
That’s not so bad. I have them too! Plenty of them. Just make sure you do not poison them!!! If a bird will eat the poisoned mouse, he will die! I have cats around, they take care of them.😜
Thank you very much! For the little birds I use half inch steel mesh rolls. For the bigger ones one inch steel mesh sheets 4 x 8 foot. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️

Anyways in all our Aviaries are shelter rooms, they are insulated. If it will be ones very cold (that happens every 20 years or so) we have heating lamps in there to. The Parrots are used to cooler temperatures, because they are all born in Europe. We have absolutely NO wild catches!!! I never, ever would accept that! Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️
Good question! I have a concrete slab, then the side and the ceiling is totally covered with strong steel mesh. Rats, Minks, Fox and Martens have no chance to go inside. Mice you will have!
