What antenna would you recommend for the 006 and 007s? There should be a whole episode on favorite antennas, university and diversity, etc. for noobs :) I think this little thing might be perfect for flying through the other parts of the building we use as our Makerspace. Maybe make a little track for it. Does the baby get a kick out of watching the quad? :)

I have this kit Tips: Buy an extra frame or 2. The frame is flimsy and will crack after a couple of bumps You have to de solder to separate the board and motors from the frame for the transplant Drill a tiny hole in the front left corner so the radio wire can be fed through. Radio range is crap stock Omnidirectional (right) antennas will work and improve the signal (not sure if left will work). Rubber ducky is insanely weak indoors after 20ft Fly in setting 2 or 3. Setting 1 is way too weak and will lose control from any draft You need to pop the hood to see the channels Flight time is about 3min, not 4 to 5 Fly it like a fix pitch helicopter Always connect the antenna before turning on the fpv goggles It goes black and white in low light situations Excellent value for the money.

I just bought this drone with the goggles and after having it for three days, I crashed it into a pot of boiling water. The plastic on the drone melted and it looks a bit wonky now but the amazing thing is that IT STILL WORKS! This is my first drone and when I get the chance, I will but the Eachine Wizard x220s and I think that this drone has really gotten me into drone racing . Thanks a lot Stew.
I've been flying this model for over a month and have found it to be very fun! one thing i did was to get increased battery size to the 260-45c, and moved the transmitter antenna through the top of the case and also on the remote which is free and increases the range. I did however change to a faster motor for $12 and a more sturdy frame for $2.99. All in all Im very pleased with this drone as well!
As someone who wants to get into this hobby, but doesn't have any of the equipment yet, I'm so excited to see this on the market, so that people like me can get this, take it out, and be able to fly. Really want to get this for my birthday!

He just needs a good recommendation for a solid condenser mic for the intro. The bench sounds fine the outdoors footage is rough audio. Perhaps a few audio acoustic treatment on the wall behind the camera. It will help with the echo. Cop the basic audioproofing foam package from amazon it will do amazing audio coherence for the money. Cheers

Based on your previous videos, you can get much better for 70$: A faster and stronger mini quad: Eachine E011 (14$); a better AIO FPV camera: Eachine TX03 (18$); and also better FPV goggles: Eachine VR007 (39$). I'll order this kit on 11.11, and you should buy this one too, instead of the one in the video. Anyway, I love your videos, you got me into the hobby, keep up the good work man! (:

I saw amazing videos of drones flying over building so I did some research and then I realized right away that it wasn't as easy as I thought. There is a big community to help beginners and no you don't have to a million dollars on your first drone since your probably going to crash it. A drone like this would be perfect for beginners in the hobby!

For someone like me who has been planning a tiny whoop fpv build with the Inductrix, I can say that I am stunned at how awesome and simple this indoor flyer would be. I do plan on grabbing a couple now for people in the office and my nephews this Christmas. Get some workplace team build races going.

There's three things i love about this, 1. its all inclusive, its got everything you need to fly 2. I paid 65 dollars for my first set of box goggles so this is even a better deal you're getting a ~35 dollar (if you build one a the cheapest) tiny whoop and 3. Just like our 5 inch mini quads, this little guy is totally able to be upgraded but for a lot cheaper. You could get a new set of motors or triblade props and get even better flights, further pushing whoever we gave this to into loving flight. Anyways, thanks for the givaway Stew!
I am a college student, i started watching your videos right form the $99 FPV build and loved the video, i was looking forward to start the hobby since then but still it was a bit expensive for me, this kit i think would be a great start for me, honestly when i started this video i was not hoping the video quality would be this good but it turned out to be pretty good and that's what i loved the most about this kit and yes the price ofcourse.

The thing I like most is, of course, the price. It's making the hobby more approachable and open by bringing the price down, which is something I think is awesome. Someone with not too much spare money can pick this up and see if the hobby is really for them without dropping hundreds or even thousands on kit they may not even like.
Thanks for the review, the one thing I like about the FPV kit is that it creates a platform for young kids and beginners to be able to experience FPV without too much money invested. The goggles are also great for a beginner. We had a kids camp with over 60 kids about a month ago and we were showing them how to fly mini quads using 2 eachine e010s. We tried giving all 60 kids a go and ended up breaking all the spare props with the crashing. We really wante dto give them an FPV experience but just couldn't afford the gear, now its possible with this great cost effective option. Just checked now and the set is already out of stock on banggood if you want it with the goggles. Hopefully they will have more in time for Christmas. Keep up the great work! Cheers.

What a great setup. I think FPV is a great way to teach new pilots. Your sense of orientation in FPV makes it much easier to learn. Really can’t beat the price of this setup. The quad only price is average but to get a set of goggles for an extra 30 is crazy.

I have already been recommending this package to random curious people, the price point is great for those wanting to dabble with FPV. Its a good gateway to better things as most of these people will usually end up buying a DJI, a little setup like this is a lot safer to learn with & will teach you a lot more. Only a couple of years ago a Chinese BNF CP micro heli cost more than this so I can almost forgive the toy TX because of the price, if someone decides they do want to take things further there will be a lot more cash spent so they can always start with a Taranis X7 & multiprotocol module.
I like that this is an affordable all in one way to get into the sport, I have been looking for a while on how to get me and my son started. Thank you for sharing!

Trying to get into FPV drone flying but it's quite expensive to get everything you need to be able to go fly, only to crash it 5 minutes later and break it. This little FPV drone would be fantastic for learning the basics. It's also getting towards winter here now in the UK which means there's no light for flying outside except at the weekends, assuming it's not raining or windy :-/ I like your channel, like your energy and the grumpy guy. It makes your reviews entertaining.
I bought this package about 3 weeks ago; it's awesome. The reception drops out when you go too deep in the house but it's still fun. I think i'll be looking at putting bigger batteries on it though

I really like the Cheerson CS-10WD. It's REEEAALLLY stable for a small FPV drone. about $40. Reviewed on my channel. Just sharing the FPV Drone love.
That Cheerson uses Wifi FPV so there'll be a delay between what is happening in real time and what can be seen on the screen.

I wish this was available when I first got interested in fpv. Wow what a great time to be a newbie in the hobby. So many new great products like this are making it so easy for people now to try fpv.

The price point is the best part about this beginner kit. Many people I feel "would" get into it but the price tag is prohibitive. This lets them get hooked with little investment!!! Grow the Sport!!!

Was very tempted to say that I really like the USB cable! It's a perfect little kit to get for kids especially with it being a tough little drone.

The "toy" micros are such a blast. I got my start on an Inductrix FPV. It is still one of my favorite little fliers.

This Kit looks like the perfect way, to try out FPV. Especially this time of year in Canada where flying inside is really the only option. Been looking for a kit like this for a long time. Really cool.

What a great setup. I think FPV is a great way to teach new pilots. Your sense of orientation in FPV makes it much easier to learn. Really can’t beat the price of this setup. The quad only price is average but to get a set of goggles for an extra 30 is crazy.
This is awesome. I’m very new to this and have a 8 year old son that likes drones too. This would be a fun set up for him that wouldn’t cause too much chaos around the house. Good video

I have already been recommending this package to random curious people, the price point is great for those wanting to dabble with FPV. Its a good gateway to better things as most of these people will usually end up buying a DJI, a little setup like this is a lot safer to learn with & will teach you a lot more. Only a couple of years ago a Chinese BNF CP micro heli cost more than this so I can almost forgive the toy TX because of the price, if someone decides they do want to take things further there will be a lot more cash spent so they can always start with a Taranis X7 & multiprotocol module.
I like that this is an affordable all in one way to get into the sport, I have been looking for a while on how to get me and my son started. Thank you for sharing!
This is awesome, it looks like a great starter kit. My son has been wanting to experiment with an fpv drone but I was hesitant to invest in case he doesn't like it. A kit like this makes it much less risky to try out.
my favourite thing about this fpv kit is , well, the fpv. ive always liked the idea of it and being able to get it for this cheap is so cool, after seeing things like the parrot bebop
Trying to get into FPV drone flying but it's quite expensive to get everything you need to be able to go fly, only to crash it 5 minutes later and break it. This little FPV drone would be fantastic for learning the basics. It's also getting towards winter here now in the UK which means there's no light for flying outside except at the weekends, assuming it's not raining or windy :-/

I bought this package about 3 weeks ago; it's awesome.
The reception drops out when you go too deep in the house but it's still fun.
I think i'll be looking at putting bigger batteries on it though

I've been wanting to get into FPV drones for the past 6 months but was afraid to invest a lot of money into it. Something like this would definitely help with a beginner and see if it's something that someone would enjoy. I also can get my kids into it and not worry about huge expense.
