  • This is a video on how to save the scenes to a USB drive for importing them on another X32 mixer. You save the scenes by saving the show directly to a USB drive. You can import using the same UI location on the X32.
    It is a good idea to save your default setups of your mixer to a USB and store in a safe location incase something gets changed on your mixer in a permanent installation like a church or venue.

    I'll be praying for you guys and your awesome ministry, you just cleared up some confusion I was having about loading and unloading shows and scenes. Keep shining!

    That is correct. You would be able to save the scenes, then export the "show" to a USB drive. When the new console arrives, you can import the show and your mixer will be back to the way it was. Also if you have saved presets for EQ or effects, check your library, you will need to export those one at a time to a USB drive. A bit tedious, but well worth the effort.

    Peter, I will have to get back to you about this one. I know you can use the X32 Edit and have another 100 scenes available for view, using the XControl and Console buttons. I do not know if you need to have the scenes loaded onto the board for using that scene. Let me check it out on Sunday when I am at the church and I will let you know!

    Hi, Thanks for posting this. My understanding is that the the maximum capacity is 100 scenes per show. My question is this, how do you switch between shows to load that bank of scenes?

    @toddflaker it has to be formatted in wave 16 bit and 44.1 for the board to be able to recognize it

    For the X32, can a USB flash drive formatted exFAT be used where you mention FAT32 required?

    Drew,
    I am new with the x32... when saving a show does it save the scribble strips and everything or just the settings for each channel.... and do i need to do any other selections for like the channel safe and param safe...
    thanks

    From what I understand, the board only has one shows worth of scenes (100) loaded on the board at one time. To import a show, press View on the Scenes group to pull up the file list, then press Utilities, and then press the encoder to Import Show.

    Can I save the routing and signal processing into the usb along with the scene ?

  • @t-train7492
    @t-train7492 9 років тому

    Is the routing saved on the usb. We lost our "effects' going to the mains. It goes to the personal mix monitors but cannot get any effects to the mains. I am sure its a routing thing that got screwed up but we can't figure it out.

    Hey Drew, when one saves the scenes to the USB flash drive, can that person send that scene to someone else via email for their use?

    Is there a way to load my show without wiping out the shows previously saved on the desk? Currently I am having to export to flash drive, then import new files and reverse the process when I'm done with my show. This can make the sound company very nervous when they have multiple bands saved for festivals.

    Is it possible to see when a scene was loaded? Is there some kind of log of the uploads of different scenes, snippets etc.?

    I occasionally do sound at a club that has the X32 system that for budget reasons does not have the desk so you mix from an iPad. I was saving individual scenes on my USB drive which was handy; I could call up a basic mix for any band I had done before. Suddenly I lost the ability to write to the USB drive. It only works as a audio recording source now. Noone seems to know what they did to it to change that ability. Any ideas what was changed and how to change it back. Thanks

      Hey Philip, I would try using a different usb drive and trying again. You do need to have it FAT formatted. Lastly, I would suggest trying a small USB drive like a 4GB or an 8GB stick. I can't think of anything else that would cause the X32 to not be able to write to the drive. Hopefully this helps a bit!

    Just out of complete curiousity, if my vhurch were to have setup our scenes and saved them to the usb drive, then factory reset the board, we could import them like nothing happened 😅?

    Hi Drew, I am a keyboard player, I play two synthesizer keyboards at my Church, but I would like to know how to setup an insert effect like the Saturation plugin from the Behringer X32 unto the two keyboard channels to give it a nice warm, saturated analog sound, your help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

      I actually got it working, I don't know how I did it though. The usb drive path is now blank again the way it should be. Maybe the power cycle did the trick.

    Hey Drew I have a question......at our church we have a Behringer X32 compact board. I have used the USB slot in the past to play tracks off of a thumb drive....
    In order to make that work however I have to do 2 things. First is the files on the thumb drive have to be .wav files, nothing else seems to work (mp3, wma definitely don't) secondly I have to change the sample rate from 48khz (what the board is always set on) to 44.1khz
    Is there anyway to make the board accept the files at 48khz? Also will the board accept anything other than a .wav file (if not that's not a super huge deal, the sample rate thing is the more annoying issue)
    If the board can't be changed in that manner, perhaps there is a program that will allow me to change the sample rate for the .wav tracks, I dunno I'm thinking out loud at this point.

    • @66fitton
      @66fitton Рік тому

      Hey, just in case you haven't got this figured out yet, most DAWS will allow you to export the wave files at any sample rate you want. You can even load mp3's into the DAW and then export them at 44.1 or 48. Hope you have it down already but if not this will get it done!
