As an older person (60+yrs) I first heard this done by Bing Crosby and then later it was used in the movie Home Alone but Geoff brought it to a whole new level of great listening for me. His beautiful bass voice along with all the other octaves that he threw in was just fantastic. I love all the optics that used as they kept adding more Christmas touches to the picture. I really love his amazing talent ❤🥰 Thanks for your reaction Dave . Merry Christmas 🎅🎄☃️
Geoff's got the best smooth warmth of a low voice for Christmas 🎶 even when he tickles those higher notes. Thanks for all the great reactions, as always.
Loved this from Bing Crosby, and the movie. Geoff just brought it up today's standards. Still love it. You should know Geoff never does normal or what's expected.
His video transitions are just amazing. Shows his skill and dedication to his craft. I have never really liked this song, or carols in general, but this is just soothing and makes me smile with the relaxed piano
Great reaction, as usual, Dave! My very favorite thing about this cover is that he is smiling, all the time. He has a great smile, but that dark tone lends itself to darker music. It took me a little while to realize why it was making my heart so happy!
I love this rendition...and your commentary (and facial expressions) are just as entertaining and endearing. I have heard many, MANY different singers perform this song...this is, in my opinion, one of the best. Also, I have subscribed to your channel (guess that is what they call it)...you are just too adorable. No, not flirting - I'm 71 years into my childhood...so I just say what I think. LOL Old Age Perks has it's advantages.
We had the original of this song by Bing Crosby on vinyl when I was growing up. While Crosby could go pretty low he didn't hit notes this low. I really like this version of the song. It is a classic song and this gave it new life.
So, this is how far behind I am on my "watch-list" - I'm getting to this hours after you put it out! Great reaction, as always! As I was watching, I was thinking how cool it would be if there really were four Geoffs and all four were into music! Have you done any of Tommy Johansson's five new Christmas videos yet, or will you be doing one big reaction video after he's released all 24 of them? Talk about a fun advent calendar!🎄🎄🎄
A great renditions by Geoff and great reaction from Dave.🎄♥️ For more Christmas music, take a look at Tommy Johansson. He uploads a Christmas video every day now from 1dec to Christmas Eve. All kind of genres, Metal. Rock. Gospel. Instrumental. You chose, he's got it. And with the humour as well. In Where Are You Christmas playing guitar as the Grinch for instance, still killing it with his vocals.
The iconic classic version of White Christmas was recorded by Bing Crosby in the 1940's and has deep baritone singing all the way through. The version you speak of at the beginning that has the higher singing part and that appeared in The Santa Clause was done by The Drifters and is a fairly unique version.
You should check out an older version too by voiceplay. Also you should check out mission/ Jingle bells by voiceplay was fantastic Never pictured those two song when j Nunn and earl still there

Love the way that the high harmonies go up and Geoff goes earthquake at the end !!!!
Geoff Never ceases to Amaze me!!! I mean, you Know it's gonna happen sooner or later!!! Thanks for a great reaction Dave!!!
You should hear the last chord again.
In the background on the wall comes 4 socks and a piano plays "jingle bells" softly.
That´s so cool.

I love the harmony between Geoff and his clones. It's truly scary just how talented Geoff is. A great video as always Dave. Well done.
TWO VERSIONS TO THE COVER OF THIS SONG THAT HE'S HITTING ON___THE DRIFTERS AND THE TEMPTATIONS__GREAT BLEND__WOW!!!!
LOVE your reactions and observations.
Thank you so much for another great reaction to Geoff. Your reactions are priceless ❤️
Your reactions are the best man. And Geoff is truly a destroyer of reactors, listeners, musicians and singers

This was a nostalgic fun one. Love the appearing background staging 🙂
Love your reactions and analysis. Lovely!!
Love it! I Knew you would love this reaction time too dave
I’ve never really liked Christmas music, but if Geoff sings “Happy Birthday,” I’ll listen to it like it’s the most beautiful song in the world. 🤷♀️😅
I first heard this song in the movie White Christmas by Bing Crosby. It will forever be my favorite version but Geoff's is a close second.
I couldn't wait for your reaction to this! 👏
He's just like Bing Crosby.
Did you notice the flat wall in the back, it's slowly became decorated with Christmas tree and all kinds of stuff
Rewatching this for fun.
That "white noise" in the first verse is brush snare. 🙃
Great reaction. Thank you Dave.
Love ya 💖
Happy Holidays 🎀
Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🤶🦌 and a very Happy New Year 🥳🥂

If you read the description in Geoff's video, he credits this as a tribute to that version.
There's also an old animated Christmas advertisement that uses the Platters version to hilarious effect.
In The Santa Clause?? I'm Home Alone years old. Lol

Seems someone has been exercising his low range lately...
Yes Bing Crosby sang this in the movie Holiday Inn.
You should check out an older version too by voiceplay. Also you should check out mission/ Jingle bells by voiceplay was fantastic Never pictured those two song when j Nunn and earl still there
For a really great bass singer, you should check out JD Sumner - Poor Wayfaring Stranger
You should react voiceplay white Christmas
🎄🇭🇺♥️
This is not in Christmas but you should listen to eye spy by night lovel
Dave, you'd better Hydrate!!! You're gonna get cotton-mouthed!!!
Hope cancel culture doesn't try and change name to something besides white Christmas.
Doubt it. White Christmas is named that because of the snow and not because of a single race. It would be idiotic to think of anything else otherwise.
