Yes Geoff's range just gets wider and wider, and what's more you can still hear every word That's impressive. Lovely appreciative reaction. :And thanks for the shout out. :)
I have been hearing Geoff doing more with his fry register lately. He has hit some pretty low incidental notes in the past - when leaning into a note and rising into the note he's going for - but it seems much more sustained and purposeful lately.
Danielle, I appreciate your reactions to Geoff and to Voiceplay so much. This one was so much fun, with the costume changes, and the props sneaking in. Of course, his skill as an arranger, editor, and vocalist keep getting better and better. He never coasts, he never does anything half-way. Thanx again, and congratulations!!
It's hard to believe this is just one person singing when you just listen, but then you see the Video it's still hard to believe, liked the christmas socks at the end appearing, the whole production was great.
Danielle, would you please do a reaction video of Geoff's new solo cover " Till Then "? It is so smooth, slow & deep. It is a piano lounge feel as he also plays the piano. His wife Kathy slips him the note & she took him away at the end.
Geoff did not sing a B0 in this song. He has only done a B0 once (well, twice in the same song) , and that was in the Halo song, in subharmonic. Geoff lowest in this song is a G1 in chest, but it's *very* thick so it feels lower than it is. 🙂
Looking at my analyzer, he hit a C1 for a fraction of a second when doing that one part where he settled into a G1. It was so fleeting, I wouldn't even count it. Her ears definitely caught it... I couldn't hear it but can see it on the scope.
@@kaspianocz6330, Geoff's voice is one of the most harmonically rich I have ever seen... this includes incidental subharmonics. I have a similar quality (and slighter deeper) voice than Geoff and he beats me by a mile, in this regard. If you see his voice on a scope, it's a thing of beauty: when he sings a C2, you will see harmonics at C3, C4, and even C5 that are barely down from the principle... this is why his voice sounds so amazing.
Geoff is amazing in everything he does. Sure there are some new singers out there trying to top what Geoff does & yes some can hit a lower note, but no one has the smoothness Geoff has, especially when it comes to transitioning from low to high or high to low. He is the best there is when it comes to his arrangements
Always a great reaction from you Danielle. Would you please do a reaction video of Lauren Paley the Stairwell Sirens Ave Maria ? The full version. Nobody has reacted to her yet & I have been begging everyone to. She is a phenomenal singer and this is her most beautiful song ever.
I love the harmony between Geoff and his clones. A great video as always Danielle. I hope that you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I get definite 'vibes' from Monster Mash in some of these harmony lines. Great number. Totally fresh take on a classic. Thank you, Geoff, and thank YOU, Danielle! Great reaction! You get a pass on the G1. It took me a while to figure it out, and I don't have the pressure of recording a reaction.
Geoff and vp to some extent mostly start off simply then build into it. They like to ease into a song before they wow us. I love the way his clones react with the changing background
@@j-5105that’s definitely chest. It’s not vocal fry either. I’m not sure what it’s called, but I know how to do it so I know it’s not vocal fry. The best way I can describe it, is that it’s sung with a lot of force and pressure
According to Jeff, if you want to sing low, just move your hand, palm even with the floor and then move it in a downward motion and your voice will follow.
@subscriptionsquad Danielle Marie great to see you again! I've have a special one to react to. Voctave "O Come All Ye Faithful" featuring EJ. Side note EJ's brother made the finals on The Voice. Please react to O Come All Ye Faithful
I know others have said this, but B0 is not off the piano. The lowest a standard piano goes down to is A0. Also, the lowest note Geoff sings in the song is G1, which is still very low for a chest note.
#Subscriptionsquad Congratulations to 4th Impact!! Just Awarded Philippines Pop female group of the year!!! Literally love your reactions keep that great work up 😍 could you maybe do some liam payne live performances they are just chefs kiss. For example the strip that down performances I know they are from pretty long ago but they are just great and I would really like to see you react to it 🥺🙏🙏
Very nice. The difference between Geoff and Bing Crosby is he is a bass and sounds a lot better. Of course, I am certain, unlike Bing, he doesn't abuse his children. Nicely done as usual, sir.
According to Geoff…he’s actually a baritone with a good range. (Yeah. I know. I have some arguments with that myself. But it is what he says.) Which is probably why he sounds so dang good higher.
Please please please check out 'Wonder As I Wander - Epic Version' by Simon Khorolskiy. Its an underrated Christmas song and he really does make it epic. (in case I'm the next shoutout its Stefin not Steven)

@@marshayoung9387, my ex-wife is deaf and got cochlear implants as an adult. They absolutely will not restore her original hearing. My ex had gotten to a point where hearing aids couldn’t help much anymore, so the implants are better for her. But she had to completely relearn how to hear with them.
He hit a B0 in HALO. A C1 in Way Down.

B0 isn't actually off of a standard piano keyboard. A0 is the lowest note on a standard keyboard. So it's close.

That sounded like a subharmonic. But if he is doing it in chest, how is he getting that vocal fry?

You need to react to Blackbird
It's such a fun Christmas song. Also, please react to Sohyang's Holy Night. It's Christmas. Please.

Yep it’s G1
