Hey, thanks for the video, very informative. Just wondering how you find getting reward or companion seats for the summer hols? I work in a school so can only travel in the holidays, I've got 28K virgin points, but have not got their credit card yet... I am considering it but I dont think it would be worth it if its an absolute hassle to get those seats (for a family of 4 in school holidays!). Especially because Norse are now doing budget fights from Gatwick (which is closer to me), although obviously flying Virgin would likely be a better experience.
Hi, we also have to book during the school holidays, we usually go in may or October and we have to be quick! Summer holidays do seem to have a bit more availability. I would go to the reward seat checker and just keep an eye out on the availability for the time you’re thinking of going. Travelling from Heathrow and consider maybe a different airport on the other side too I.e tampa rather than Orlando international might open more options for booking reward seats 😊 x
