- In this episode, it's our first of two sea days headed to the southern Caribbean, and we're checking out so many new things! Join us for an awesome breakfast buffet, steel pan (a.k.a. steel drum) lessons, line dance class, lunch at the International Café, formal night with a giant champagne waterfall fountain, the "Magic To Do" evening production show, karaoke auditions for the Voice Of The Ocean competition, and more... huzzah!!
The final phase of MegaVacay2020 is a ten-night cruise aboard the Crown Princess out of Fort Lauderdale! We sailed February 5 - March 6, 2020 with stops in St. Thomas, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, and Aruba. So far, we've completed a week at DisneyWorld as well as 20 days of cruising aboard the Mariner Of The Seas, Grand Celebration, Carnival Sunrise, and MSC Armonia... and we're ready for one more dose of fun to close out our mega vacay agenda!

We did eventually find the Deck 7 entrance, though it wasn't really all that "grand" either, ha ha... too funny... :P
First, I didn’t realize you two were so tall. You don’t look like it on video. Second, Dee looked beautiful on formal night! She also has a great singing voice!! I think Princess makes the bed chocolates on the ship, but I’m not positive.
Hah, I guess with us only having a 5" difference in height, you can't really tell that we're both tall until you get us out among some other folks, ha ha... funny!! :D

I’ve always heard Celebrity and Princess compared but I actually think the demographic on Princess skews older than Celebrity. At least from my experience. Both are tremendous form what I’ve heard but I can only vouch for Celebrity. Another great video
We'd heard that Princess does tend to be the oldest crowd these days, except for maybe Holland America, hah... but we love a nice calm cruise. Heck yeah! We've got our first Celebrity lined up for January, fingers crossed!! :P
Every Princess cruise we have been on, they have done the steel drum lessons. It gets so crowded very quickly. My hubby got me a Jumbie Jam for my birthday and I love it! It has been so fun to learn. The International Cafe is a great spot for a quick snack or lite lunch. Everything is always so good! Glad you liked it.

Congrats on the trivia win ! Speaking of wine... you can bring a bottle of wine each on your next Princess Cruise without paying the corkage fee.
Ah, I knew you could on Carnival but good to know about Princess as well! We did this cruise at the end of an entire month of cruising, so we didn't even try to research up all the policies for each line, ha ha... :D
Dee! Your voice is fantastic! I'm so glad Jay shared the brand of your dress because that is exactly what I was going to ask. Lol. One question that I'm so curious about......how tall are you guys?

When we tried Princess we absolutely loved the breakfast buffet and the International cafe was one of our fave places ..that watermelon salad is Awesome!!👍❤

Fantastic fun day!! I love the champagne waterfall (my last Princess Cruise I was in the elevator with the Captain when he was on his way to the atrium - that was so exciting)!! I love to hear Dee sing (and to see her dance) & love Jay’s steel drumming!! You’re definitely making the most of a Princess Cruise (and I totally love the International Cafe). BTW - hope y’all tried the fettuccine Alfredo at dinner one night - it’s one of the Princess specialties!

Does Princess Cruises match Carnival's VIFP status? We are platinum on Carnival but we wanna try Princess after watching this series! Love you guys!

We do anytime dining because we schedule our dining around the entertainment. We know dinner will take anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours depending on how crowded it is and the service team you have. Dee you have a beautiful trained voice! Can't wait to see what happens next!! Thanks for sharing.
We used to be so stuck on assigned time dining, but the more we try the flexible option, the more we love it. Funny!! :D
You both look fantastic for formal night. Love the "Sock of the Day" today. The International Cafe is one of our favorite spots to get a quick snack. We liked Magic to Do and enjoy the entertainment selections on Princess. We are so happy to see that Dee will be a contestant on Voice of the Ocean. So much fun!
LOL - My daughter ran excitedly to the kitchen to get our Princess wine stopper when she saw yours on screen! We still have it after 4 years lol!

Nah, we just showed up and stood in line. We were normally there close to doors opening each night, so there wasn't too much of a wait.
