I frequently do that with my daughter, my dad and my best friend. When we both see the joke coming way before the various parts have intersected to make it funny. It’s the fact that our humour is so tuned to one another, the realization that we are all on exactly the same wavelength is even funnier than the joke to come and silent belly laughs with tears flowing down cheeks is the inevitable result. It’s magical to share that with someone. My absolute favorite thing.
RFC3514 Detecting mild sarcasm. I meant in regards to their personalities. On screen its often portrayed the other way in their sketches that David plays the more refined, solid characters and Robert the more common, flaily characters. Green clarinet man being a fine example.

Haven't you ever had a funny idea or come up with a funny joke and laughed to yourself about it? Then when you tell the next people, they might find it funny but you've sort of laughed it out. This is sort of the case with their show. They probably rehearse a bit before the takes and then there will likely be takes where they lose it and have to start over.
@@SammyC27 the idea of someone forcing anyone to pee without their consent, especially a celebrity like Tom Cruise, is amusing. What is also kind of amusing is how the panel conversation somehow lead down that weird road XD
All I can imagine is Tom Cruise on the toilet, reacting exactly the same way as Greg Davies in his Graham Norton story where he accidentally ends up wearing his mother's knickers in a school: *"Oh God, oh no! You loser, this is such a low point!"*

This took me a second to get and I did the same hand gestures because I was laughing and thinking wtf 😂 Mitchell and Webb are just amazing even when they're not a duo
Haha this is from that insane Tom cruise scientology interview where goes on about how as scientologists they're special and when they see someone in a bad situation only they can help. So they have to. Weeing without consent isn't that much weirder.

Read his book if u haven't already, it's great!

A discussion about toilets must have been rather uncomfortable for Tywin Lannister
Actually, if he'd made a habit of using only public toilets he's have been fine, as he'd have been safer if there were some potential witnesses about.

He should have bolted the door. Then he himself wouldn't have been.

I love watching David and Robert on panel shows together - they're so funny!

Only when the clip had finished, I suddenly imagined Tom Cruise having a wee without his consent and cracked up into tears.
