I had the pleasure of meeting Eric here in Vancouver, WA while he was Boondocking at Cracker Barrel. At the time, I was not aware of his “celebrity” status and approached him just to chat about what it was like to travel the road. I sensed he did not have a lot of time but never the less, he patiently answered a few of my “newbie” type questions and definitely put the itch in my feet. Safe travels and hope to meet you again, only this time, when I have my rig.
My brother went to Daytona and took a few laps with a NASCAR driver for a thrill of a lifetime. He couldn't believe the driver, this tall old guy with a cowboy hat put on his helmet and climbed in, it was the "KING OF NASCAR" Richard Petty. He told my brother he does this occasionally and thanked him for the opportunity to give him a ride. What a ride.....
Your videos are the best. I have been following you for years and i amazed that you continue to bring us the greatest things to watch...please keep it up... and THANKS
Great video as always, we will have to go to that museum when we head back that way. I am a racer and a NASCAR fan. If it has a motor and wheels and goes fast, you have my attention. 😎🏁 🏎
Hey Eric...... to help stop (or reduce) dirt and water getting under your bike cover, just get one of those fibre skirts for under the back of your RV.
Love the Mario Andretti car. I was at the '67 race, watching it from behind pit row. Was also at the '64 Daytona 500 and saw Petty win his first 500 there, even got a picture of him in the Winners Circle. Only went to Daytona twice but got to see my 2 favorite drivers win each time, can't beat that.
Boy, that was interesting. We just missed you. My Mercedes SLK club was at the World of Speed on August, Friday 23. We had a VIP tour of the museum. The last Harley engine is the one I have in my Heritage. The gentleman that helped you with the race car was our tour guide.
Eric what type of rv gos do you use? I had a rand mcnally overdryve7 rv and its toast after just one year! Seems the company has problems Recommendations?
I used the rand McNally too layered about 16 months. Currently I'm using co-pilot on an old Samsung note 10.1. So far so good. They give a 2 week trial then 15$ a year
I use Co-Pilot GPS for iPhone. It's updated regularly, but you download the maps so that you can use without service. The app knows my length, height, and weight. It routes me safely, and less streesfully than other apps I've used.
hey Eric, that round white 8 track player came out in the 70's we bought ours in 1972 it was great... Thanks for the tour, I have a friend who's really into NASCAR so I'm going to send him your video...
Eric , you don't need splash up getting that bike from underneath . Install a full length brush skirt underneath like mine has . Knocks it all right to the ground .
Wow....ive been a Race Fan for 51 years now and have traveled to a lot of Dirt Track Sprint Car races , but never knew about World Of Speed. Defiantly on my bucket list of place to visit on my travels out west. Thanks for sharing .
Another great video thank you for sharing. Yeah those slot cars are fun to drive I did it at Daytona. Stay safe have a great day I'll see you in the next one.
I love old cars, hence my screen name. Thanks, never knew that was there. We will sure be going there on the way to or from AZ this year. Enjoy...your adventure!
Adidas does have an employee store on site that occasionally lets us go in. I didn’t know about that place in Wilsonville! Nice. Sometimes it takes people from out of the area to make you aware what’s around your home area!
Really fun and we enjoyed it. Loved the race cars and motorcycles. I wish you did have a safe sidecar for Jax - a buggy replacement. Would be cool. Jax is such a love. Best cat ever! Thanks to Camping World for helping you out🤗💖🐈
Eric! I was almost heartbroken! I saw the headline and thought you were in Indy and I missed you! Just so you know Labor Day weekend is a big deal in Indiana. From my hometown in Auburn IN there is the ACDfestival, you should look it up. Then the NHRA nationals are in Indy the same weekend. If you ever want to do it some year, we would love to show ya around.
Wonder if those skirts that look like black nylon broom that goes on the rear bumper of the RV would keep dust off your bike? Ppl normally use them for TOADs, but may work!
Actually, adidas is a German company, their headquarters is in Herzogenaurach (of which I love the pronunciation when an American pronounces it, sounds much more badass than the German pronunciation, LOL).
I've watched almost all your videos and if I had to choose which one is my favorite from the 1000+ episodes series it's gotta be the one titled "A day In the rv life?: Extreme weather". You were having a hard time then but it was really enjoyable to watch. Just thow in a video like that every now and then please.
Thanks for sharing your tour at the Nascar Museum with us That would be creepy to have somebody just open the door and walk in😵 Can't you get those broom like bristles that hang off the back of motorhomes to keep the dirt from flying up? Take it easy and we'll see you later 😉🙏✌💞😺💞👍👌😊
You have to do a blooper video and PLEASE include your "visitors" while at camping world!!! Obviously it happened or you would not have been laughing during your cut-in. Stay safe as always and God bless...
A question I've been wanting to ask how old was Jax when he started RV travels? If he was not a kitten how did he adjust? I have an older cat and don't know if she would take to the RV! Love your lifestyle!
Jax has spent most of his entire life in an RV of some kind on the road. While I was moving out from my last house and into my first RV in 2010, Kitten Jax of 7-8 weeks old kept following me out to the RV and exploring while I loaded the RV. That tiny curious kitten wanted nothing to do with his brothers and sisters and just wanted to be with me. While I was not a "cat person" and hadn't even considered traveling with an animal, fate would have it. Therefore, we made it work from the start. I introduced the harness very early and allowed Jax to walk around dragging the leash for small periods of time until he got used to it being there. And the rest is history.
What a fun museum! Eric, FYI there are lots of different types of racing experiences in and around the Bay Area here in California. I LOVE me some Jax time! Thank you!
ERICK, PORTLAND? Eastbound out of Portland, have you ever driven the Old Historic Colombia River Gorge Highway ? I have read that there are many many waterfalls from the numerous streams that feed the Colombia. !
Cool info. Have you been to the Celebrity Car Museum in Branson? I know it would be a pain to get Miranda down through that traffic, but it’s a really cool museum.
#47 Thanks, Eric! Really Good Show! I liked the museum tour and all the vehicles. Some Where south of Portland is Jack Ely's Horse Ranch. Jack Ely and the Kingsmen (1963) "Louie, Louie", etc.
wife and I were on a Harley trip some where in California. stopped for a break and cool down. Don the snake was inside the little store. out for a ride on his Harley.
The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys! LOL just teasing you, Eric! I love your sense of fun and enthusiasm! I’m not into NASCAR and racing but I know a lot of people are. Netflix and kitties are my friend! Belly rubs to Jax!
There are a lot of us " Eric and Jax " fan / friends near Wilsonville. The Frys across the 5 from where you were is a cool place to shop. Come up with a Eric and Jax shirt and I will get it.
Pause at 4:20,, That's It! That is my old jam box I kid you NOT! OMG, I got that for Christmas when I was a little girl. That was my break from being stuck listening to my parent's horrid country music. First song on the radio when I got that was BOC Burnin for you. Is it for sale? how much? I believe it is a JCPennys brand. No friggin way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eric, if you join Camping World they will let you stay overnight at any of their locations and we were told that if you wait until after the bays close, you can pull up and plug into their outlets.
Not true. I've been a good sam member for 4 years now and I've been to a LOT of different Camping World's in the country. Every one is different. I also heard once years back that you can use the dumps and get water at all camping worlds. First of all - only about half of the C.W. locations I've been to have a dump station at all. And MANY (if not most) of the C.W. locations do NOT allow overnight parking. The club does not give you special powers to overnight or plug in at locations. Each individual store has their own rules and any false rumor you hear about being able to park overnight nationwide is flat out LIE to sell more memberships. However, there are a few stores out there with some great accomodations and ones that are friendly to dry parking overnight. But, lets not spread false info here, please. I've shown you in my videos over the years MANY stores that told me I can't park overnight. And I don't want to give C.W. ANY credit they don't deserve. Thanks.
@@nomadicfanatic Sorry Eric, I was trying to be helpful as we just got a membership with them and that's exactly what they told us, what I told you, and they even showed us where we can plug in. I asked her twice if it was country wide and was assured that it was. So, if I'm spreading false information, it came straight from C.W. in the Mt. Vernon area.
I told you 3 batteries for your power needs is not enough for cloudy rainy days especially deep winter days you need at least 3 more batteries. Another well known Full time RV Dweller who you probably know a few months ago acquired a Class A RV like you installed 4 high watt solar panels but on my advice and no doubt others installed 6batteries the same as you have. He will have a better chance of having enough for for hisneeds on cloudy rainy days and in the deep winter months.

Enjoyed the museum! Lots to see and enjoy. And now kick back and enjoy the rain and binge watch your favorite shows. Sounds perfect
I'd still want mirrors on my rig for when the cameras are not working! Nice find.
I agree. Physical hardware better than electronics however the new “mirror-eye” system has not failed yet!......... YET
Love hyperdrive!! We did a marathon and stayed up till 5am watching it.
